27/04/2025: Siamo stati a pranzo in questa trattoria nel giorno di Pasquetta durante la visita a Brescello: che dire, tutto perfetto! Trattoria a conduzione familiare dove la sig.ra Marisa è la numero uno, super simpatica e accogliente. Trattoria vecchio stile, dove il vino viene bevuto ancora nelle scodelle. Abbiamo preso il classico antipasto di salumi da dividere x tutti e poi primi secondi e dolce: tutto davvero buonissimo!! Qualità prezzo adeguata. All'interno ovviamente ci sono foto dei film e di personaggi famosi passati per la trattoria. Che dire, se andate a Brescello assolutamente non potete non fare tappa dalla signora Marisa e la sua famiglia nella sua stupenda trattoria! Ci torneremo sicuramente!

11/05/2025: Apart from the boss we have the impression that they don't appreciate tourists. They don't make you repeat if they don't understand your Italian that you are making the effort to try to speak. Some even laugh! We do not take orders in order of arrival but depending on whether you are tourists or not... Fortunately the pizzas were good, which we opted for when we saw the price of the dishes. Also risotto only when ordering 2 people. Nerd for me since my husband doesn't like it! Large, noisy room.

29/05/2025: Classic Osteria that has remained practically unchanged since the 70s. Good food, and a characteristic atmosphere. Kind and fast service. However, the prices are exaggerated, once upon a time you would go to eat tigelle and crescentine to spend little, in the osterias precisely. And when I say once I am not talking about the last century, but until a few years ago it was the cheapest and most characteristic solution in the Bolognese area. Dal Nonno for tigelle and crescentine, water and a beer you will not spend less than 30 euros which is an exaggerated price, also considering that for example the cured meats are not selected, good stuff, but from the supermarket. A tigella or a crescentina cost 1 euro each, while once they brought as many as you want for the same price (and it is normal since their cost is laughable). In short, it is a recommended place, but unfortunately do not expect to spend little.

25/05/2025: Ci sono luoghi che non si visitano: si vivono. Il Nonno Osteria dal 1900 è uno di quei rari angoli d’Italia dove la tradizione non si limita a sopravvivere, ma respira, racconta, accoglie. Appena varcata la soglia, il profumo del legno antico e dei piatti cucinati con amore ti abbraccia come farebbe un nonno vero: con semplicità, calore e un pizzico di poesia. I sapori sono quelli di una volta, autentici e decisi, ma con quella grazia che solo chi ha cuore e memoria sa dosare. La pasta fatta in casa, i sughi lenti, i secondi robusti e sinceri… tutto è orchestrato con rispetto e fierezza. Non è una cucina che vuole stupire: è una cucina che ti emoziona. Il servizio è gentile, familiare ma curato nei dettagli. Qui non sei un cliente, sei ospite. In un mondo che corre, Il Nonno ti insegna a rallentare. A ricordare. E a goderti ogni boccone come se fosse l’ultimo prima di tornare bambino. Grazie per aver custodito e onorato la storia. Ci tornerò ogni volta che avrò bisogno di verità nel piatto. Comunque 60 euro in due chi scrive che è caro vada a mangiare da un’altra parte

During our holiday in Lido di Savio, we discovered this rotisserie and went back almost every day! Delicious food, generous portions and fair prices. The fried foods were crispy and light. The staff was always kind and helpful, with a smile that makes the difference. A simple but authentic place, where you can feel the taste of tradition. Highly recommended!

21/03/2025: Historic bakery in Portomaggiore. You can find various types of bread, from coppia ferrarese to bread with cereals and seeds of chi and much more. Not to mention the exceptional hams and cured meats, all spectacular. In short, for lovers of taste and bread this is the best you can find. I highly recommend it 🔝🔝🔝

15/04/2025: Pizzeria off via Zamboni before the San Donato bridge, parking nearby. Large, crunchy pizza, for those who like this type of dough, and other very pleasant selected dishes. There is also space on the veranda, as well as inside. Advised.
