26/03/2025: I wasn't staying, but I was at the restaurant because I had to catch a train to Bologna Centrale station. We arrived at a time when they were no longer serving lunch, but we were served by a waitress of Cuban origin whose name I don't remember now who treated us like a true wonder. She immediately made it very easy for us by saying that she could offer and immediately cleared a table and seated us. I congratulate this collaborator for the passion she put into her work. It's nice to see people like that!

20/01/2025: Fuori dal centro storico e all'interno di un centro sociale, si parcheggia agevolmente fuori e si entra in una sala pulita e ordinata. Il servizio è informale ma preciso e celere. Cibo ottimo, tagliatelle ai porcini e faraona in pancetta molto buoni. Il conto è adeguato.

18/12/2024: Groppo Ducale (www.groppoducale.it) is located about 13 km of curves and enchanting views from Bettola, it is not very easy to reach but the journey is certainly worth it, even more so if you stop to eat at La Rosina. The restaurant is rustic and the environment, although recently renovated, maintains an ancient and local flavour. The dishes are truly typical and locally produced with flavors that bring you back to the country life of a few years ago. The handmade first courses are highly recommended, including the legendary tortelli with porcini mushroom sauce or the anolini in broth rather than the polenta with cod. But even the second courses and desserts, of own production, are no different; not to mention the mixed starters. Prices are always low compared to market prices and certainly excellent when compared with the quality of the products.

It's a shame that he didn't think of dedicating a room to just tables for 2 in order to make an evening away from large families and noisy children more pleasant. 13/04/2025: It‘s a very nice restaurant with really good seafood. The terrace looks very nice but it was too cold to have dinner out there. Probably a must-do in Summer. The sardines in oil with lemon were amazing. Fried calamaries and artichokes as well but the sardines were 11/10. The atmosphere is quite nice, the service good and attentive. We also had a very nice orange wine from the region.
