13/10/2025: We were passing through Monteriggioni and stopped for lunch at this beautiful restaurant in this beautiful village. The service and courtesy were exceptional, and the dishes were truly unique. The Tuscan ravioli with truffle were truly exquisite! Highly recommended!

09/07/2025: It's been a while since we've been back to Gargotta, and I think it's changed management. In any case, we ate very well. Excellent steak, excellent tartare, even fried flowers, and amazing desserts. The appetizer platter was perhaps a bit ordinary, and they could use a makeover. Excellent selection of wines and Prosecco. The terrace is perfect for summer evenings, with the background music of frogs that reminds us of the countryside. Discreet and informal service.

08/07/2025: Trattoria La Gargotta is a superb restaurant. I went there for dinner with four friends. We ate everything, a classic Tuscan/Florentine menu: classic Tuscan appetizer, first course (tagliolini with truffle), second course (grilled rosticciana), with side dishes (sautéed spinach and baked potatoes), and coffee. Everything was VERY GOOD. From start to finish. The service was a bit awkward; they confused the bottle we ordered with a more expensive one. The owner, having already opened it for us, apologized and offered it to us at the same price as the one we ordered. Truly very kind. (Not everyone would do that these days.) The restaurant is located in the Florentine hills, just outside the city, with a splendid terrace overlooking the city, and a very beautiful and characteristic interior. I highly recommend coming for dinner.

05/10/2025: Excellent Pisan trattoria. We went here for a family lunch on Sunday and had a wonderful meal. The appetizer was traditional Tuscan and featured high-quality cured meats. The tagliolini with mushrooms were, I dare say, out of this world, the tagliata was delicious, and the homemade desserts were excellent. The staff were friendly and helpful. The price was fair and in line with the quality of the food. Go there!!

05/10/2025: Excellent restaurant in the center of Buti. Specializing in traditional Tuscan cuisine, we ate: spaghetti with porcini mushrooms, stringozzi with Cinta ragù, tripe Butese-style, and sliced ​​Cinta beef with a side of porcini mushrooms and beans... everything was truly EXCELLENT, as were the homemade desserts. The service was attentive and fast. We were guests, so I didn't pay, but the prices on the menu are definitely reasonable. Reservations are required because it's always busy.

14/10/2025: We happened upon it for lunch because our hotel is nearby. And we had a really good meal. The place is rustic enough, the staff friendly and quick. The menu is Tuscan. Good wine list.

13/09/2025: Everything was very good, the atmosphere and service were perfect. The only thing (for personal taste) is that I prefer the tiramisu with the biscuit less soaked in coffee, but the cream is spectacular!

13/09/2025: A wonderful typical Tuscan restaurant, tastefully furnished while maintaining tradition. Tables are set with cotton tablecloths and napkins: a rarity nowadays! The garden is charming, especially in the evening; the service and friendliness are commendable. We dined on three evenings with different courses, and every dish was wonderful! Highly recommended!

17/09/2025: I made a reservation and visited. I thought it was a Korean restaurant, but there were quite a few foreigners, so I figured a lot of locals were there too. My two adults and I, along with my first grader, enjoyed a delicious set meal of T-bone steak, pasta, wine, and baked potatoes! I ordered the T-bone steak medium-well, but I wish I'd cooked it medium on a grill! It was delicious!

17/09/2025: I'm very satisfied! I had the T-bone steak, mushroom risotto, and truffle steak. They cooked it perfectly, and I ordered it rare, but it wasn't greasy at all!! I highly recommend it. The wait was a bit long, but I was still impressed with the food!! The food came out faster than at other restaurants.
