A truly excellent experience at Tana dei Brilli in Massa Marittima.
Fresh, high-quality food, with an excellent selection and creation of cheeses.
The wild boar sauce with polenta was simply exquisite, rich in flavor and perfectly prepared.
A place I absolutely recommend to anyone who loves authentic, carefully prepared cuisine. I will definitely be back!
25/01/2026: I called the day before to reserve a table for two. I was given the time: 2:00 PM/2:15 PM.
We got there on time, maybe a few minutes early. Once inside, I was told the reservation was for 2:15 PM/2:20 PM.
We waited outside until 2:30 PM.
We went in to find out how much longer we had to wait. We were told they couldn't turn the customers away. In conclusion, we had to leave.
It would be enough to say next time... WE'RE FULL! Instead of making people wait needlessly!

The lady makes ravioli in the window😊
We had crostini with Colonnata lard, which were fabulous!!
Followed by a mix of crostini with truffle, tomato, liver, beans, and cavolo nero, and tomato puree.
Meat tordelli with ragù and homemade ricotta and spinach ravioli with tomato sauce... truly delicious!
We'll definitely be back 😍

Cantinetta Antinori is a wonderful family-owned restaurant - part of family business group, that didn't disappoint. Highlights included the rich mozzarella, a curated wine list🍷, and excellent service on the upper floor.🤵🏻
The decor is also lovely. Rating the Florentine steak 4 out of 5🥩

Few dishes to choose from, executed without praise or infamy, with only adequate quality ingredients.
The price per dish was outrageous, precisely for the reasons mentioned above.
The service was friendly but imprecise about the dishes displayed when ordering.
I wouldn't return.
03/02/2026: What a lovely evening! Great company, a wonderful welcome from the owners and the very polite and professional Christian! Superb service, food, and atmosphere! The food was excellent, the pasta with duck sauce, the meatballs with spicy tomato sauce, and all the desserts were delicious!

02/01/2026: Delicious huge pizza just for 7,5 EUR. The prices are very good for Tuscany area, maybe because the town is not that touristic. We definitely recommend. We payed 25 EUR for two pizza's, water and 2 glasses of wine. Very filling, fastly done and the waiterress was very friendly and nice.

The asparagus flan was a marvel that I wasn't expecting. Then the cacio e pepe was one of the best I've ever tasted; it had a perfect balance between the pepper and the cheese.
