The food was delicious, honest, hearty, and prepared with love. You can taste the tradition and the quality ingredients in every dish. The homemade classics, in particular, made a lasting impression. The service was warm, attentive, and personal; they took their time and made us feel truly welcome. Our conclusion: A place with soul and authentic Italian cuisine. 20/01/2026: This family-run osteria, just off the main tourist trail, is one of those discoveries that brighten up your day. The service was a perfect dance: smiling, fast, and disarmingly kind, the staff made you feel immediately at home. But the real applause goes to the food. I ordered the Pici alla Dado, and when the dish landed on the table, the intense aroma of the sauce literally silenced our conversation. The texture of the pasta was masterful: that tough, rustic bite that contrasted beautifully with the enveloping softness of the sauce. "Finally, we're thinking," I commented to my companion after the first bite, as he happily cleared away his plate of gnocchi. The atmosphere, lined with historic family photos, is warm and lived-in, even if the space feels a bit cramped. So, everything perfect? ​​Almost. The only sour note holding me back from giving it my all was the house wine: in a region like Siena, I expected a red with more soul, but instead I found it flat and forgettable. A real shame, because with a glass worthy of it, it would have been an absolute triumph.

The owner, who waits at the tables, is incredibly kind and helpful. Excellent food!! We tried excellent, strictly high-quality Tuscan cured meats. The first course with hare sauce was excellent. The fried chicken and rabbit with artichokes was tasty and dry!!! A must try. The peposo... fabulous. Flavorful but very digestible. Definitely worth a try and a return visit... perhaps in the summer to take advantage of the terrace!!

An icon of Florentine cuisine... but also a paradise for us celiacs! A dedicated gluten-free menu, many traditional dishes, and captivating quality. All accompanied by kind, friendly, and super attentive staff: they even brought us a gluten-free dessert with a candle. We'll be back soon... perhaps to try the real Fiorentina!

29/10/2025: The BEST Gluten free pizza in town. Alex I lovely! Really attentive and did his best to make sure we ate well. I hadn’t eaten Oizza for such a long time! Thoroughly enjoyed the GF Pizza. Grande Alex!

17/02/2026: I went to this restaurant for dinner with the set menu (charcuterie board + steak + side dish + glass of wine + water). The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and willing to listen to customer requests. Everything was delicious, both the dishes and the house wine. The staff even stopped by several times to make sure everything was fine. I will definitely return to try the à la carte menu and I recommend it!

When we made the reservation, no one warned us that we would have to leave after an hour to make room for other customers. We only found out when the waitress came to the table and took away our plates with food still on them. She was rude and impolite to everyone throughout the entire dinner. Never again...
