14/12/2025: Absolutely fantastic. The advantage of traveling to Florence in December is that there are no queues or long waits for anything. And under those conditions, everything is much more enjoyable. Recharging your batteries after visiting the Pitti Palace and the Boboli Gardens is a great idea.

04/12/2025: I don’t give 5 stars, but we went last night and I was very happy. We had a reservation at 730 and there was a scrum at the entrance as they let in everyone at the same time, a bit weird, but everyone was in good spirits. The waiter was great, explained everything we asked, my wife doesn’t take rare meat, so unfortunately, we didn’t have the Florentine steak, but we ordered the Vegetable “soup”, crostini, grilled vegies, veal and sirloin steak (we asked for medium). The crostini was liked by my wife, who enjoys liver and tolerable by me. The vegetable soup was surprising as it’s not what you expect from a soup, but tasted good. Grilled vegies was a meh. But the steak and ESPECIALLY the veal was amazing! Cooked to medium perfectly and the fat rendered so well! Melt in your mouth, we finished the entire thing down to its bone! When the waiter asked if everything was good, we could only point to the empty plates! I never give 5 stars, but this place gets 5 stars! Thoroughly enjoyable! We spent €106 for 3 people, the bread was free (usually the mark of a tourist trap!)

03/12/2025: What a lovely dinner at Il Latini. Food We had the roasted pigeon and beef filet for our 1st dinner in Florence. The roasted pigeon was seasoned well and flavourful. That said, I thought the pigeon may have been slightly overdone. The beef filet was divine and cooked to perfection. We loved it. We paired the 2 mains with grilled vegetables. We also had the tomato and bread soup. The soup felt authentically tuscan. While the name of the dish appears simple, we felt warmth in our hearts as if we were eating a dish cooked by our grandmothers. For dessert, we had tiramisu. Please try if you are there for a meal. Do not skip this dessert. Service was excellent, attentive and efficient. Reservations recommended, if possible. We arrived at the restaurant about 15-20mins before dinner service started. There was already a queue. Restaurant is popular and quite busy.

Crostini: four half slices of thick bread with a spoonful of ragù (good), a sauce of livers, one indefinite and indefinable, and one of beans. At least the courtesy of spreading it on the bread... the beans, completely unseasoned, straight from the can. €8. Sliced ​​steak. Sufficient. Dish of the day: fried artichokes. So much batter that the artichoke disappeared. No, I won't be going back. You can't charge €50 for such sloppy cuisine. Sorry, the place would be nice...

29/11/2025: Beautiful and typically Tuscan location, albeit a bit forced. The dishes are traditional, but unfortunately revisited as gourmet tastings, which in my opinion has lost the true essence of the "typical Tuscan dish." The waiters were truly friendly and attentive to all our requests, and it's thanks to them that I didn't give it a two-star rating. The lighting was a bit too dim, so much so that they even added a table lamp to at least read the menu... The overall price, in my opinion, is a bit above what I expected. This is definitely a place I won't be returning to.

07/12/2025: Cantinetta Antinori! We stopped by mainly for drinks and wine, and everything was spot on. Stefano made an excellent Espresso Martini and added a personal touch with some great advice on the wines and good humor. Pasquale, our waiter, contributed to a relaxed and authentic Italian atmosphere that made us feel right at home. A lovely place to enjoy a glass of wine and good company.

27/11/2025: Attracted by the numerous positive reviews, I wanted to try this place. Excellent experience. Fabulous food, attentive service, and a beautiful location. P.S. Always ask the waiter for off-menu dishes; they're often tempting and delicious. Highly recommended, 10 out of 10

08/12/2025: Well, what can I say? I called on Tuesday to make a reservation for four people the following Sunday, when, due to the Christmas and antique markets, a large crowd is expected. They told me they don't take reservations and that the restaurant opens at 12:30 and that it's a first-come, first-served basis. So, I hung up on them... oh well. Aware of what I'd been told, I arrived on Sunday at 12:15 and found people outside waiting for the restaurant to open, who told me the place was full with reservations. I went into the adjacent grocery store and asked the owners for an explanation. Of course, they told me they'd already told me over the phone that they were full and weren't taking reservations. That's all well and good, but saying they were full without the whole first-served-first-served charade, right? And I'm not going to sound like a jerk either... not to mention the fact that they were rude both on the phone and in person. Luckily, later on, I found a nice restaurant with courteous and friendly staff. Good.

07/12/2025: Delicious dinner. My girlfriend and I were lucky enough to find a table, without a reservation, at this truly delicious trattoria/grocery store, with excellent prices considering it's within the walls of Arezzo. The appetizer, featuring delicious local cured meats and cheeses, was delicious; the steak was incredibly tender and juicy; perhaps we could have cooked it a little longer, but overall it was absolutely delicious; the artichoke side dish was delicious, and even the house dessert, a chocolate and pear cake, was delicious. In short, a truly wonderful experience, with very friendly and welcoming staff. We'll be back!

06/11/2025: In the heart of Florence's historic center, in the heart of the San Lorenzo neighborhood, we celebrated a special birthday at Trattoria Da Garibardi. An icon of Florentine cuisine... but also a paradise for us celiacs! A dedicated gluten-free menu, many traditional dishes, and captivating quality. All accompanied by kind, friendly, and super attentive staff: they even brought us a gluten-free dessert with a candle. We'll be back soon... perhaps to try the real Fiorentina!

29/10/2025: The BEST Gluten free pizza in town. Alex I lovely! Really attentive and did his best to make sure we ate well. I hadn’t eaten Oizza for such a long time! Thoroughly enjoyed the GF Pizza. Grande Alex!
