30/10/2025: I had a T-bone steak on my first day in Florence, and it was so delicious that I came back for another on my last day! The grilling, the seasoning, the red wine, and the tiramisu were all perfect! If you're in Florence and craving T-bone steak, this is the place to go!💗💗

02/12/2025: We were led to seatings in the basement and it seemed all the tables there were foreigners. It was the most expensive meal among all during our one week stay in Florence and the only one that charged us service fee(5adults + 1 kid). Food was ok but nothing worth recommending

The restaurant has an authentic, simple, and welcoming atmosphere, perfect for those seeking traditional cuisine without frills but prepared with care. The dishes are the real highlight: generous portions, quality ingredients, and authentic flavors reminiscent of home cooking. The Florentine steak is impeccably cooked, while the pasta dishes—especially the butter and sage ravioli—are absolutely worth a try. Even the desserts are authentic and taste just right. The service is friendly and fast, despite the restaurant often being busy. The prices are fair and commensurate with the quality and size of the portions. In short: Da Padellina is a restaurant that focuses on tradition and substance, and does so very well. Recommended for those who want to eat well and feel at home.

30/11/2025: We had dinner at this restaurant and can't say enough about it! The atmosphere is truly enchanting, perfect for a romantic evening or a special dinner. The real surprise, however, was the food: Gabriele in the kitchen manages to transform traditional dishes into true magic, with an innovative touch that makes them unique and irresistible. Each dish is a discovery, tasty and refined, but without ever losing the authenticity of classic recipes. A special thanks also to Roberta, who welcomed us with warmth and professionalism, making us feel at home. Highly recommended for those seeking a quality gastronomic experience in a welcoming and refined environment. We will definitely be back!

23/11/2025: This trattoria was recommended to us at the hotel reception since it was close by, and it was spot on. The atmosphere is intimate and familiar, and the menu offers a variety of options to please both adults and children (I was with my 10-year-old children). The Florentine steak was highly recommended by Alessandro, who deserves my compliments for his service and his friendly, easy-going personality. The pasta and lasagna my children had were also excellent, and of course the Chianti paired with the meat was excellent. The prices were very fair given the location and the quality of the food. Highly recommended ✌🏻

10/11/2025: A delightful place offering excellent local specialties. The two of us tried: fettunte with premium olive oil, spectacular pici alla gricia, cantucci and vin santo. But above all, the hostess's warm welcome and kindness made all the difference! The space is small but very well-kept and clean, with outdoor seating available. A memorable, convivial experience at reasonable prices (which never hurts). Special thanks to Camilla, a truly cheerful and capable hostess.

02/11/2025: Beautiful location, super friendly and knowledgeable staff. The food was truly excellent—every dish was thoughtfully prepared and tasty. The extensive wine selection, for all budgets, was also greatly appreciated. The central fireplace created a warm and welcoming atmosphere that made dinner even more enjoyable. At the end of the evening, without even asking, the staff offered us aperitifs: a simple but very welcome gesture. I absolutely recommend trying the shepherd's liqueur—a real treat!

06/12/2025: Went here for a quick evening meal. Pasta was actually not bad. Wines - so and so, nothing special. I did though order a medium rare steak - which started in that rareness at one side, and ended up at the other somewhere between rare and "if I poked it too much, it would moo". Complained to the waiter, who said that "this is how beef is served here", or something to that degree. So I left the rare portion on the plate. I had a full on food poisoning by the time I arrived home. I would therefore either avoid at all costs or at least order vegetarian.

12/10/2025: A guarantee! A restaurant where you can impress friends or family visiting from out of town, with a spectacular menu and wine. The perfect location for those with children, with a beautiful lawn where they can run around safely while their parents enjoy the view with a glass of wine.

06/10/2025: A very well-kept place, both inside and out. The food is excellent, and the service is precise and attentive. The price isn't cheap, but it's appropriate for the location.
