I lived in Florence for a few years in via del Proconsolo, 7, that is to say in an apartment in the adjacent building. The temptation at home. I have the best gastronomic memories of this restaurant in Florence. You will not find other trattorias where you can breathe the raw and rustic Florentine spirit, in perfect combination with enjoyable dishes, genuine flavours, all accompanied by a flask of Chianti.

A rare pearl in the homologated catering panorama of tourist cities where trattorias with affordable prices but with very poor quality products often alternate with places with more edible foods but indigestible prices...
Very efficient service with a homemade menu perfectly anchored to tradition and genuine local products. Everything impeccably excellent from the first courses to the desserts and even the bulk wine. A price-quality ratio among the best in Italy where this ratio, especially in the historic center, is certainly not among the best.
It's a shame that I rarely come from Rome to Florence but would I come there even just to have lunch?

Small but welcoming place. Evening reservation. But there wasn't much choice. We had quite good pumpkin puree and rolls with sauce. They were the few dishes available. Too bad I would have gladly enjoyed traditional Tuscan dishes. Honest price.

Eravamo di fretta in gita con la scuola, ma siamo riusciti a goderci comunque il magnifico pranzo in un'oretta. Abbiamo condiviso il tavolo con una coppia, ma non è stato per niente fastidioso data la natura del locale: piccolo e semplice, con un personale amichevole in un ambiente allegro e socievole. La numerosa clientela di sciuri fiorentini conferma la qualità della cucina. Bistecca e vino ottimi. Siamo usciti sazi e soddisfatti. Il prezzo è completamente corretto se non economico rispetto a quello che abbiamo mangiato.

Se volete mangiare cucina tipica fiorentina e Toscana a Firenze, questo è il posto giusto!
Abbiamo ordinato dei tortelli mugellani con salsa di pomodoro, le bracciole alla parmigiana e come contorni le patate alla contadina ed una insalatona e ci è piaciuto tutto quanto.
Siamo state servite nel giro di 5 minuti che ci siamo sedute al tavolo sia con le portate di cibo e sia con il bere, quindi direi ottimo.
I camerieri sono veloci, gentili e sorridenti.
Consiglio di prenotare perché la location essendo piccola, non offre molti posti e vale la pena mangiare qua!
Conto ottimo.
