The pasta is outstanding, the fries are authentic, and the food as a whole is simply unforgettable — the kind of dishes you remember because they’re just that good. And they have great vegan options!

30/11/2025: I'd heard great things about this restaurant, and my expectations were fully confirmed.
We ate truly delicious Tuscan cuisine: sincere, fresh, understandable, and never banal.
The wine list is truly intriguing, with many gems at the right price point, allowing you to have fun and experiment.
A "modern" trattoria where you'll gladly return, and the atmosphere is always pleasant, familiar, and relaxed.
Thanks to Francesco, who let us taste two incredible wines; it was a gesture we greatly appreciated.

The atmosphere is welcoming, and the staff is kind and helpful.
You feel like you're at grandma's house!
07/12/2025: We found this osteria somewhat by chance while wandering around Volterra and were very impressed. We're super satisfied with the portions and the deliciousness of the dishes.
The host is very kind and friendly, but be careful with the cough syrup after your coffee 🤭
The prices are reasonable and the atmosphere is homey.
If we ever pass through Volterra again, we'll definitely be back.

26/10/2025: A beautiful place that takes you back in time, with delicious traditional Tuscan cuisine. We had pappardelle with duck ragù, traditional cured meats, tortelli, and a Florentine steak. Everything was perfect, surrounded by a unique atmosphere and a nice bottle of Chianti. I'll be back next time!
18/10/2025: We were passing through the Calenzano area and, intrigued by the menu, which also offers vegetarian options, we booked.
The cuisine is top-notch; we recommend the tagliolini with buckwheat and truffles, a delight.
We enjoyed it so much that we returned on our return trip.

It has a spacious indoor dining room and a lovely terrace.
The staff is very friendly, and the food is delicious.

14/10/2025: This family-run restaurant tucked away on a hillside is a wonderful find. Excellent, tasty dishes and fairly reasonable prices. The view is breathtaking, and the house cat is very sociable!
11/10/2025: We came to this restaurant with great anticipation, based on the good reviews. Since we wanted to go spontaneously the night before and couldn't get a table, we made a reservation for the next day. The service was abysmal. The appetizer (homemade spaghetti with tomato sauce and garlic) was very good. The tagliata di manza (sliced beef loin) arrived an hour after the appetizer....the quality of the meat was abysmal. We would have liked to have had dessert, but we lost the desire for more.....what a pity.

20/11/2025: It has a terrace, you have the option of eating outside. We ate a shared salad for starters and beef tenderloin with cheese and arugula and breaded brains and artichokes for mains. It was spectacular. It cost us around 100 euros and we had a great time. Two lovely girls and they tried hard to translate things for us. We will repeat
20/11/2025: I saw a blog post about someone ordering a 500-gram T-bone steak while traveling solo, so I asked the restaurant and they said they only accept 800-gram portions.
The price was 800g (€40), water (€1.50), mixed salad (€5), and table charge (€2).
I definitely got full from trying to eat all the meat by myself, but it was still delicious. ^_^ For those traveling solo who find it a hassle to find a companion, this is a good tip.
