05/11/2025: We came here twice during our week in Tuscany, it was that good! The Florentine steak here was the best we had. Great service, high quality food, and beautiful views!
01/11/2025: We've now been to this wonderful restaurant twice. The first time was in August and the second time in October. The food was excellent both times.
The service is also very friendly, and you can tell that the staff are passionate about their restaurant.
If you're ever near Siena, a visit to the Cecchi winery and the Foreateria is highly recommended.

15/11/2025: A stop on a long drive. Easy to get to, parking with a bit of luck, very kind and friendly owners, good, authentic food, and very fast service. I'd happily return, taking a more leisurely approach, if I were to ever find myself in the area again.
First course, water, and coffee were €13, so great prices too.

15/11/2025: Nothing to say, except for drinks from €33 to €5, I'm not arguing with quality and service, even the prices are in line, maybe I repeat some small things could be more affordable, €5 for a Coke and €7 for a Nipozzano makes little sense, either raise your glass or lower the drink... For the rest, compliments for the selection of meats and the efficiency of the service.
04/11/2025: Returning from Bologna in three different first courses... fast service and excellent dishes.
Prices in line with other good restaurants.

Interesting selection of dishes
Too bad the octopus with potatoes and chestnuts probably didn't even have an octopus tentacle, and it was poorly cleaned, and three chestnuts were thrown in there. Basically, boiled potatoes: the dish cost €20.
Angus burger with various sweet sauces, an unbalanced dish, without salt or spicy food, which was mentioned on the menu.
Let's say they have some ideas, but the execution is truly home-made.
The prices are too high.
It's a place I'd like to go to, but I can't.
26/10/2025: On Saturday evening downtown, we dined at a small but very welcoming restaurant. The atmosphere was intimate, perfect for a romantic dinner. The dishes were excellent, with attention to detail, and the service was attentive and friendly.

09/12/2025: It's always crowded, it's very cramped, you mingle with other people, you step on each other's toes... but that's the beauty of it! A true Florentine wine shop, passed down from father to son, that I've been frequenting occasionally for 40 years. If one day it were to disappear or be transformed into something more chic and trendy, I would miss it.
I can't give it 5 stars because it is what it is, but for the atmosphere it has, I'd give it 6!

The bruschetta with chicken livers was delicious, and the sausage was delicious!
There were five of us, and we tried five typical first courses: pici with porcini mushrooms, pici with truffles, Tuscan tripe, and ricotta and spinach ravioli with truffles. EVERYTHING WAS VERY GOOD!!!
Special desserts! With the option to choose between Nutella, dark chocolate, or berries.
We had a blast!
I had a classic vin santo and biscotti.
An excellent bottle of Buccia Nera, truly top-notch!!!
The waitresses were friendly and helpful.
The owner was kind and friendly! (We showed up half an hour early, and he welcomed us with a smile.)

A peaceful atmosphere with a beautiful view of the park. The background music is truly perfect; it's relaxing yet at the same time moving. Excellent traditional food. Generous portions.

05/12/2025: Typical Tuscan food, generous portions, and excellent food. The only downside was the noise; perhaps we were unlucky enough to be there on the night they were hosting a graduation dinner, but we could barely talk to anyone at the same table. The staff was super friendly, helpful, and accommodating. I'll definitely be back. (The chocolate and pear cake was amazing!!)

24/11/2025: If we could give it 10 stars, we would! My husband and I absolutely love this place. The food is fantastic and always plentiful, and the owner is a wonderful character, always friendly and courteous. Not to mention they're one of the few places left that truly offers trattoria-style prices. What can I say? HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
