A typical, simple place with good food. The Maremma tripe was excellent!!! The view of the countryside was beautiful.

At Osteria Dal Moro in the famous village of Montemerano in Tuscany, we had lunch right next to the splendid terrace, enjoying a breathtaking view. Incredible cuisine, a welcoming atmosphere, and impeccable service. The traditional dishes are prepared with the highest-quality ingredients and great attention to detail. There are typical dishes such as pappardelle with wild boar, Montemeranese-style tripe, and a specialty, "L'acqua cotta," simple yet delicate and wonderful dishes. Excellent value. We'll definitely be back; highly recommended, especially for families!

The dishes are well-crafted and carefully prepared. The tripe is very good; the addition of cinnamon and Chianina beef gives it an excellent touch. The tagliatelle are delicious. The ricotta mousse balls are a delicacy. I also recommend the house wine by the glass; a quart costs €4. The price is reasonable.

Maybe it's just my opinion, but the ingredients are top-quality. The main dining room is worth a visit, but if you're in the off-center dining room, it's a bit claustrophobic.

06/06/2026: The place is nice and welcoming, but despite our reservation, we still had to wait. When ordering, much of the menu wasn't available—potatoes for side dishes, sliced ​​steak, etc.—after taking our orders, we asked if we could have all the dishes at once so we could have lunch together. Of course, they arrived in fits and starts, with bread only arriving after the appetizer was finished, after several requests. We're sorry for the inconvenience, but we hope things will be better next time.

The cuisine was excellent: especially the braised chicken and verjuice, a true delicacy. To finish, a homemade tiramisu-style dessert with a base of cantuccini biscuits... A round of applause. Sincere compliments.
