La Bottega di Duddova In Bucine

Returning home with a smile and a full heart (and belly)! A place I stumbled upon by chance, while in Ambra for work, and found a welcoming, friendly atmosphere with excellent Tuscan food. I felt at home. Leonardo is a kind person who loves his demanding but satisfying work. The first evening was a pleasure getting to know him and everyone who works with him. The second evening (because where you feel good, you return) was like being at home, with family, among friends. And I, thank you all, return to Genoa with fond memories of wonderful people and excellent food! Leonardo clearly loves making the people who stop by his osteria feel at home, but beyond him, there's his wife Valeria in the kitchen, preparing authentic dishes with love, and the girls who work with them are knowledgeable and welcoming, always smiling. This is our third time here, and like every time, the experience is wonderful. The food was divine. The Florentine steak was exceptional, as always. The ingredients were fresh and high-quality. We can't wait to return.

I was there a couple of years ago, and while everything has remained the same, I have to say it's a small but fantastic corner of paradise. The food is DIVINE, absolutely authentic, and the owners are friendly and kind. I hope to return and find everything the same as it was back then!!!
