16/03/2026: On Saturday, March 14, 2026, I found myself celebrating my birthday alone for the first time in my life. After careful research, I decided, despite the fact that I dislike and have difficulty being alone, to book a table at this restaurant, hoping to at least treat myself to a pleasant moment. However, I never imagined that this experience would soon become, quite literally, a true gift. Starting with the location, enchanting and private enough to put, even if only for that brief moment, a brake on the incessant pace of the serious lives and thoughts of everyone present at the table. Moving on to Claudio, the kind, courteous, and honest facilitator of this unforgettable journey, who, from the moment I arrived, as he does with every guest, put me at ease, giving me the feeling of having known him forever but, above all, of having finally arrived in a safe space protected by him. Concluding with the dishes I had the privilege of listening to, observing, and tasting. I remember each of these distinct yet interconnected experiences being so enchanting that the further I went, the more difficult it was to express in words my pleasure and amazement, prompting me to simply and magically enjoy everything that was happening to me. I won't go into further detail; I'll attach a few photos of this enchanting journey, and I thank Claudio and the entire staff once again for this unforgettable gift, which wasn't just a birthday present, but also, and most importantly, a life gift.

15/03/2026: As always, it never disappoints. One of my favorite restaurants. Yesterday's dinner was also top-notch. Galactic risotto.

13/06/2026: We had a beautiful experience at this restaurant for our 10 year wedding anniversary with 12 of our closest friends. Virginia was an absolute dream to work with before we even left the USA, while helping me set the menu and they even went above and beyond to open early for us to accommodate our parties timing. The Tartare was so incredibly fabulous and a highlight for me. The group loved the lamb. And we really enjoyed the wine she chose for us. When I think Michelin, I think beyond just amazing food. The presentation, the experience and the "above and beyond" matters as well. They knocked it out of the park. 💛

20/05/2026: Please do yourself a favour and go somewhere else. I was honestly really shocked at the attitude of the waitress here who genuinely rolled her eyes and laughed at me when trying to order just drinks and dessert. She said she would need to ask the if it was okay with manager for us to not have dinner as well, who shrugged and said it would be fine. After telling her we just wanted to share a cake rather than get one each, she scoffed again and said “really, wow”. We were at a table for under 30 minutes and paid a cover charge of €2 each. If it was busy, maybe I could understand her frustration but we paid for the table and there were only a couple of people in the restaurant. We wanted to support a local restaurant but unfortunately the environment we experienced was hostile and uncomfortable. This waitress also had very little patience for the couple sitting next to us who were trying to translate the menu. If you only want people buying 3 course meals with drinks when your restaurant is already empty, put up a sign.

13/06/2026: Went here as a group of 2 and the owner was very friendly! The pappardelle beef ragu was divine, and the fried zucchini was surprisingly delicious. Would definitely come again

04/05/2026: A restaurant right in the center of Castiglione della Pescaia. The center itself is charming, and the restaurant is equally charming, very well-maintained with stone walls. The staff are incredibly friendly! They were fully booked, and they were disappointed to find us a table. We left, and I believe the owner, Thomas, saw us from afar and said he'd managed to find us a spot, so we returned for dinner. They were truly super kind. Fast service, clean restaurant, and good food.

03/05/2026: Compliments to the entire place!! The waitress and wait staff were superb! Perhaps the best table service I've ever experienced in terms of kindness and helpfulness. My two-year-old was treated like a prince, with smiles and games, and the staff attentive to his every need. The food was all truly excellent! I didn't have time to take photos of my full plate because everything was so good 🤣 A very beautiful and distinctive place for its location and setting. We'll definitely be back!!

11/05/2026: Nice restaurant, a little too close to the road, which is annoying when cars pass by, but fortunately there aren't many. Wide selection, a bit touristy, considering that they also feature truffle and porcini mushroom dishes, served year-round. Average prices. The staff were friendly and smiling, making it a pleasure to spend a few hours at this restaurant for lunch.

17/05/2026: My family and I went to this restaurant recommended by the hotel for lunch. The food is excellent, the service is good, and the location is welcoming. The price is fair overall.

17/05/2026: Highly recommended! We went there last Thursday and had a delicious meal. We were well served by Francesco (a guy with long black hair and a beard); he made the atmosphere even more pleasant.

01/05/2026: A proper Sienese osteria, no compromises. The chickpea flatbread with robiola cream was a great start — simple, well-executed. Pici all’aglione e briciole was the highlight: thick handmade pasta, bold garlic sauce, just the right texture. If you’re feeling adventurous, go for the fried brain — a classic offal dish done with confidence. Genuine Tuscan cooking at honest prices. Book ahead, it fills up fast.

26/04/2026: I ate a rosemary sirloin with battered fried onions that was something divine!... It's a shame I live so far away... highly recommended.

04/06/2026: A place out of the ordinary, a little crazy but that's the beauty of it!! Friendly staff who joke and tease with irony!! Excellent wine, fantastic food!! Really very beautiful!!

04/06/2026: Hip trattoria serving authentic Tuscan fare with edgy staff. We did not have reservations and got there 5 minutes before it opened joining a queue anticipating the opening. We got a table, luckily, due to a last minute cancellation but had to finish dinner in 1.5 hours. Service was brisk, food was excellent and we finished with a minute to spare. As we left, our server joined us for a couple of Lemencello shots on the house!!

10/06/2026: We had dinner in the Piazzetta di Fiesole. Very charming. Fabulous food. The young staff was efficient and extremely kind.

27/05/2026: I visited because a photographer recommended it, and it was really delicious! 👍 I highly recommend the T-bone steak. It is crispy on the outside and tender and melts in your mouth on the inside. There is absolutely no unpleasant smell, and it is truly tasty! Make sure to finish with the Tiramisu. The Tiramisu is the best I’ve had in Italy! Everything here is just the best! 👍👍👍

04/06/2026: A warm welcome despite our late arrival at 9 pm without a reservation. The food was simple but good. The tagliatelle with fresh porcini mushrooms was a real treat. The owner and the waiter were very friendly. We had a great time. I recommend it.

16/05/2026: Birthday dinner for a dear friend 6 adults and 2 children. We dined at this restaurant in the heart of Coltano, surrounded by greenery and silence. It's a small oasis of tranquility in the Pisan countryside, where the great Guglielmo Marconi chose to build his station. "Marconi chose the Coltano plain for its unique geomagnetic properties and where he inaugurated the Intercontinental Radiotelegraph Station in 1911, the most powerful in the world at the time." The Marconi Station, now completely abandoned, was fortunately acquired by the City of Pisa with the intention of building a telecommunications museum. History leaves its mark! A very welcoming, quiet, and not at all chaotic atmosphere, perfect for dinners with friends and intimate gatherings due to its relaxed atmosphere. Excellent dinner, nothing to complain about. Typical Tuscan dishes, including Paolo Parisi's truffle-filled egg dish en cocotte, the spinach ravioli with truffles, the very delicate risottos, and the excellent meat. I highly recommend it. A wide selection of wines, perfect for those who, like us, love good wine. The staff is friendly, helpful, and very welcoming. The only downside is that some of the lighting, like the spotlights, can be a bit distracting at times, but overall, it's a very comfortable atmosphere. There's good parking, and the area is very quiet. I recommend it for an evening with friends. In the summer, they also have a beautiful, well-kept outdoor garden.

22/03/2026: We went to eat there because of the reviews and photos of their dishes. Our first visit was a disappointment, and we left very unhappy. The food was very basic, bland, and lacked any care. We ordered their spicy carbonara pasta (which wasn't spicy at all) and pasta with wild boar ragu. Everything was average, edible, but completely lacking in character. We cook and eat better at home. Of course, we won't recommend it. We felt misled by the reviews and photos, and the owners were very cold and unfriendly.

08/03/2026: The food was very good, but the service was rather cold. We had to ask for dessert and coffee, as no one came to offer them to us.
