07/04/2026: Excellent quality but expensive as a fraschetta, we spent 31 euros each for the appetizer and first course, if we had taken the second course, dessert, coffee and bitter, it would have shot up to 60 euros per person

13/04/2026: A fantastic family restaurant. I don't understand the 4.1 rating. Delicious, cheap, and very nice. Of course, it's not a restaurant, so you won't find white tablecloths. But it does have a fantastic Italian atmosphere :)
13/04/2026: Chaos. Waited 15 minutes for an outside table, was then led to another road with outside tables. The waiter then told us ‘oh sorry, there is none here either, another 30 minutes’… no, much better places further down the road

04/06/2025: Frequento questo ristorante regolarmente e ogni volta è una conferma: semplicemente eccellente. Dall’antipasto fino al secondo, tutto è sempre curato nei minimi dettagli. In particolare, la guancia è stata spettacolare: tenera, saporita e cotta alla perfezione.
Il personale è sempre cordiale, disponibile e molto attento, creando un’atmosfera accogliente e piacevole. Una nota di merito anche per il vino, consigliato direttamente dal proprietario: una scelta azzeccatissima che ha esaltato i sapori dei piatti.
Un posto che consiglio vivamente a chi cerca qualità, calore e una cucina davvero appagante.

04/03/2026: A very pleasant Sunday lunch at Li Scalini de Zia Marisa. With the nice weather, we chose the outdoor area, which is well-kept and welcoming, perfect for a relaxing moment. The service was fast and efficient, even on a typically crowded day like Sunday.
The portions are adequate and well-balanced, the quality of the dishes is excellent, and the flavors are reminiscent of traditional homemade cuisine. A recommended restaurant for those seeking an authentic experience and a family atmosphere.

11/01/2026: We really liked our room here. It was in a great area to walk to all the attractions. The rooms were clean and had everything we needed. The only reason I didn't give it a 5 stars was because the beds were a little to hard for us. The restaurants and shops outside our room was pretty loud late into the evening. The walls are thin so expect to here others but not too bad. The bathroom is small but had everything you needed. I would say if you're a larger person it would be tight. We're small peeps so it wasn't an issue for us. Overall nice place to stay.

11/04/2026: This trattoria has been a favorite place for us for many years. We eat excellent pizza and fish. Roman cuisine is special.
11/04/2026: We ordered pizzas, they said it would be 20 minutes, and they made us wait an hour for four pizzas. So, on top of being late, they were also rude. The wait wasn't even worth it because the pizza was soggy and raw. Everything was terrible.

31/03/2026: Located just steps from Bar dei Cesaroni in Garbatella.
We called but didn't have a reservation, but they seated us right away even though it was busy. The wait was normal.
The first courses were good and plentiful, and the appetizers were also a hit. The desserts were average. The staff was average, nothing special.
The only downside: eating outside with the plastic curtains closed was quite hot, like a hood.
30/03/2026: Excellent food, a Roman trattoria serving traditional dishes. The fried artichokes and pasta dishes are delicious.

The meat is truly their forte; everything was delicious and prepared to perfection.
The price was in line with similar restaurants, considering the quality.

12/04/2026: The 4-star rating is not surprising. It must live off its reputation. The prices are much higher than other restaurants, and it was by far the worst pasta we've ever had.
The experience of the waiter explaining and making the pasta right in front of you is nice; otherwise, it would be a 1-star.

17/04/2026: It's getting worse... we used to go to this restaurant for the quality of the food, but unfortunately the last two times we were disappointed, especially with the meat, which, given the restaurant's name, should guarantee quality. But yesterday they outdid themselves! The steak was tough and sinewy, as well as undercooked, not to mention the artichoke was insubstantial and had a vinegary aftertaste. The prices are high, as they are in almost all restaurants these days, but they should at least be justified by the quality of the dishes, which this restaurant has lost!
31/03/2026: We ordered a mixed fried fish dish, but it was quite greasy and not particularly appreciated. The carbonara was quite good, while the cacio e pepe was appreciated by my companion. The dessert, a berry tart, was tasty.
On a less positive note, the wine was quite expensive.

11/01/2026: I've known this place and been going there for years. Lately, I've noticed that, while the prices aren't exactly cheap, the quality has deteriorated.
19/12/2025: Best place in the area for an aperitivo. Wide selection of cocktails, generous platters full of delicious treats, friendly and welcoming staff. My colleagues and I were regulars; I even organized a couple of events there for about 30 people at a time, and everyone was happy. Unfortunately, they've now moved offices and we're no longer at the Torrino. We miss you so much, Flowery!!!
