31/03/2026: Located just steps from Bar dei Cesaroni in Garbatella.
We called but didn't have a reservation, but they seated us right away even though it was busy. The wait was normal.
The first courses were good and plentiful, and the appetizers were also a hit. The desserts were average. The staff was average, nothing special.
The only downside: eating outside with the plastic curtains closed was quite hot, like a hood.
30/03/2026: Excellent food, a Roman trattoria serving traditional dishes. The fried artichokes and pasta dishes are delicious.

01/04/2026: I had lunch at this restaurant with my girlfriend and it was a fantastic experience. The place is in a great location, quiet and peaceful, ideal for enjoying lunch. The location, although not particularly elegant, was typical of a trattoria, just like I was looking for; I almost felt like I was at my grandmother's house. The food was excellent, and the owner tries to fulfill your every wish, even though the waiter, while obviously a novice, worked hard.
We felt at home and pampered at an exceptional price.
I'll be back with all my friends.

13/03/2026: A historic restaurant where you can enjoy excellent grilled meats, delicious first courses, and wood-fired pizza in a spacious yet intimate setting.
Managed with expertise and a friendly atmosphere.
13/03/2026: We arrived on Saturday around 2:30 pm and found a table right away. The service was very attentive and fast, and the food was excellent, especially the meat.
I would recommend it to anyone who loves Roman cuisine, especially meat.

09/05/2025: abbiamo scoperto questo posto per caso l'anno scorso per far pernottare alcuni invitati per il nostro matrimonio. Da loro abbiamo avuto un ottimo feedback sia per la pulizia della camere che per la cucina. A distanza quasi di un anno siamo diventati clienti fissi. Il cibo è veramente ottimo sia se si sceglie La pizza che la carne. Gli antipasti grandi con prodotti di qualità. Il servizio impeccabile. consigliato vivamente.
26/04/2025: È un piccolo angolo di paradiso immerso nel verde. Da qualsiasi parte ci si giri non si vedono palazzi. Solo colline. Il casale è ristrutturato da non molto e si presenta benissimo. La cucina è di ottimo livello e il servizio attento ai particolari. C'è la possibilità di pernottare. Ci sono campi da padel e piscina (aperta da giugno). Ottimo Complesso. Complimenti

11/01/2026: We really liked our room here. It was in a great area to walk to all the attractions. The rooms were clean and had everything we needed. The only reason I didn't give it a 5 stars was because the beds were a little to hard for us. The restaurants and shops outside our room was pretty loud late into the evening. The walls are thin so expect to here others but not too bad. The bathroom is small but had everything you needed. I would say if you're a larger person it would be tight. We're small peeps so it wasn't an issue for us. Overall nice place to stay.
28/11/2025: Perfect location, friendly host, supreme cleanness and quality of sleep. Definitely recommend

12/02/2026: Unfortunately, I'm unlucky. The first time, after an hour of waiting and the restaurant was full, they told me to wait another 30 minutes and I left. The second time, the first course was served 40 minutes later, after having served the others at my table! I ate alone; the others had finished a while ago! This was after I urged the waiters several times. The service was terrible, a shame.

01/03/2026: We ate here about a week ago on three evenings with four or five people. Overall, we really enjoyed the food, especially the bruschetta and the pasta dishes. The service was always very friendly, so we felt very comfortable in this restaurant, even though we were tourists. We also appreciated that there were reasonable pauses between courses and that everything wasn't served quickly one after the other. The value for money is excellent!

09/02/2025: Mi presento con due zii passati da Roma da Ulisse di domenica alle 13:30, senza troppe speranze. Premetto che era la mia prima volta lì e non avevo idea di che tipo di locale fosse, speravo solo non fosse troppo turistico. Dopo neanche 10 minuti di attesa ci fanno sedere alla sala sotterranea, un ambiente con luci soffuse e atmosfera rilassante. Il servizio è stato impeccabile e garbatissimo, il cibo ottimo e il conto più che onesto. I miei zii sono stati felicissimi e mi chiedono sempre quando ci torniamo. Consiglio il fiore di zucca, davvero squisito.

We really liked the Portuguese food.
The restaurant is clean, the service is fast, and the staff are friendly.
Try the Francesinha.

Friendly staff, and the owner is very attentive to customer satisfaction.
Exceptional food and generous individual portions. This time I had the cod with natas and cod assado.
Spectacular flavor!
Worth every euro for a wonderful experience in the heart of Italy.

11/01/2026: I've known this place and been going there for years. Lately, I've noticed that, while the prices aren't exactly cheap, the quality has deteriorated.
19/12/2025: Best place in the area for an aperitivo. Wide selection of cocktails, generous platters full of delicious treats, friendly and welcoming staff. My colleagues and I were regulars; I even organized a couple of events there for about 30 people at a time, and everyone was happy. Unfortunately, they've now moved offices and we're no longer at the Torrino. We miss you so much, Flowery!!!

11/03/2026: Excellent fraschetteria, very good and plentiful hot and cold appetizers, and they brought us delicious macaroni carbonara arancini. I'd go back just for those. A slight disappointment with the porchetta, which arrived cold and wasn't very crunchy. For a 5-star rating, you can't go wrong with porchetta.
01/03/2026: We went to this Fraschetta today with friends. The appetizers were delicious, plentiful, and the cured meats were excellent. The porchetta was spectacular!
Very kind and helpful staff.
The first courses were generous, and even though it was crowded, they served us promptly!
