09/02/2025: Mi presento con due zii passati da Roma da Ulisse di domenica alle 13:30, senza troppe speranze. Premetto che era la mia prima volta lì e non avevo idea di che tipo di locale fosse, speravo solo non fosse troppo turistico. Dopo neanche 10 minuti di attesa ci fanno sedere alla sala sotterranea, un ambiente con luci soffuse e atmosfera rilassante. Il servizio è stato impeccabile e garbatissimo, il cibo ottimo e il conto più che onesto. I miei zii sono stati felicissimi e mi chiedono sempre quando ci torniamo. Consiglio il fiore di zucca, davvero squisito.

13/07/2025: Non vivo più a Monteverde vecchio e conseguentemente era tanto tempo che non ritornavo in quella che è stata per anni la mia pizzeria del cuore. Ho ritrovato lo stesso ambiente familiare, accogliente ed amichevole, ottimi fritti (consiglio a tutti la mozzarella fritta) e pizza romana croccante e gustosa. Non comprendo le recensioni poco lusinghiere anche perché il rapporto qualità prezzo è rimasto davvero imbattibile. Tornerò con immenso piacere!

21/07/2025: Pretty good food off the train station. Nice little sit down to enjoy Italian food. Order some coffees, lobster pasta and pizza. Overall good- nothing too crazy. Classic foods and good price. Service was very quick, recommend

04/07/2025: Abbiamo ordinato due primi romani tipici: una cacio e pepe ed un'amatriciana, quest'ultima nello specifico non era altro che pasta al sugo, con qualche pezzo minuscolo di guanciale qua e là e giusto una cucchiaiata di formaggio, la salsa era completamente slegata dalla pasta, la posizione è ottima per i viaggiatori, non a caso i clienti erano quasi esclusivamente turisti, ma il cibo assolutamente da rivedere. Dispiace perchè i proprietari e i camerieri sono stati tutti molto gentili.

25/08/2025: I had to change my mind. It hadn't impressed me in the winter, but I returned recently and found a truly delicious carbonara and tripe that was worth the return trip. Impeccable table service, new and clean place. I'd say the only flaw was the bill, which was slightly higher than I expected, but I repeat, the tripe, especially, is definitely worth it. Tender and flavorful.

25/08/2025: This was absolutely delicious! Our group was blown away by the hospitality and the quality of the meal! If you are looking for something authentic, this is your spot! We knew very little Italian and they made us feel comfortable and right at home!

13/08/2025: Terrible disappointment. Food portions bit small, bit expensive, but still okay. The staff was absolute disaster. If I can give them minus a star I would. After years of visiting Rome this was definitely big mistake. It was either no knowledge, or terrible arogance. Me as a waitress definitely big no and warning for others.

12/09/2025: Unforgettable Italian atmosphere and cuisine with a Polish chef. In Italy, but almost like home.

12/09/2025: The best restaurant in Rome. I've been here a dozen times and I've never been disappointed. The chef is a Polish chef, Mariano, who is an expert in Italian cuisine. I wholeheartedly recommend it. The service is excellent, led by waiter Klaudio. The restaurant owner is very hospitable.

18/08/2025: A typical Roman restaurant, almost an institution if you're passing through Trastevere. It is and remains a wonderful experience.

11/04/2025: Siamo stati in questo locale per il compleanno di mio nipote. Ci siamo trovati benissimo. Il cibo è ottimo e abbondante. Il personale è accogliente e verace e ci ha fatto sentire subito a casa. E' un locale semplice, ma si respira la genuinità dei proprietari e del loro cibo. Non bisogna essere sofisticati e non bisogna avere fretta. Se avete questi requisiti vi godrete un ottimo pasto, e due piacevoli chiacchiere con il proprietario.

30/08/2025: I'd say the name of the restaurant, "Due ladri," absolutely sums up my experience, which wasn't pleasant. We met up with some friends and decided at the last minute to change restaurants and go here. We were outside on a warm Roman evening, and I couldn't see a thing: I couldn't see the menu. The lighting was dim, so I used my phone to read it. Frankly, for a restaurant of this caliber, or at least one that claims to be of this caliber, it's unthinkable that someone couldn't see the menu. The menu was too expensive; many dishes seemed a bit overpriced, considering how top-quality they were. The dishes were good, and I'm not going to say otherwise, so I'll be honest. At midnight, however, when the bill arrives, we discover that we have to pay €100 each. After paying the bill, we ask for a round of liqueurs, but the waiter tells us that it was no longer possible because they had already closed the bar, or something like that. Then a fellow diner asks the owner who responds in practically the same way. I found it a great lapse in style, especially since a table of five people spends €500, even if they are a little late (we are talking about midnight, I must say this lapse in style, which adds to other small failures of the evening in the service, unfortunately leads me to give this restaurant a bad review).

25/07/2025: I'm not sure what happened but our table and the one next to us had very slow and laid back service. It took over 35 minutes for two cold antipasti to come out, our wine was opened and the foil fell into the bottle so I had metal in my glass (they didn't replace bottle just new glass, told me it was a fly). The food was just okay, felt underwhelming. Cacio and pepe was over salted and couldn't taste anything but salt. Clams on my crostini were very sandy. Service was odd, I heard the table behind us get mad at slow service and their food being cold, we also had same experience. But another table nearby got offered seat cushions and were attended to every 3-5 seconds. Peculiar. We had much better food at restaurants in the Michelin guide for less money in the same neighborhood, I'd skip this place (seems they don't want tourists dining here anymore). Arguably our least favorite restaurant of our honeymoon in Italy.

07/09/2025: Excellent Roman pizza. It's the thin Roman pizza, almost crunchy, like very few others in Rome. It's a maxi pizza, really well-topped, thin, and therefore well-cooked. Recommended

04/09/2025: I went back and had fantastic fried food. Alessandro was always very kind in managing our table of 40 people. Everything went smoothly and we were all happy. Fantastic products and attentive staff. Delicious desserts Thanks guys
