04/05/2026: The service and welcome were adequate. Traditional dishes arrived very quickly after ordering. We thoroughly enjoyed the pasta. The house wine, however, was very light... The prices were rather high for simple dishes... but we are in Rome.

01/05/2026: It's fine for tourists, but not if you want to eat well. I don't like writing negative reviews, but since the price of everything has gone up, I've been valuing every single euro spent on the pleasure of eating, and there was nothing pleasant about it here. The place is in the center of Prati, where the selection is very wide, but sometimes you have to make a mistake, and that's what happened. Appetizers: pre-prepared mixed fried foods, a poor platter of cold cuts and cheeses (1) with jams (3) that were nonsense. The focaccia was good, not excellent, but still good, the water and flour together do their job. The service is entrusted to beginners, I say this because I've worked in several restaurants of varying quality, and not even the worst were we this disorganized. My order was taken with the same kindness as a traffic policeman giving you a ticket. Chipped appetizer plates were replaced with a less chipped one (the local health authority doesn't like this), appetizer plates were thrown at the table as they came, and an ice bucket was thrown at me on the edge of the table. The pizza was neither praise nor infamy; obviously, 1 order out of 7 was wrong (good, average). The burger (photo attached) was ordered well-done, just to be safe, given the current situation, and obviously I wasn't expecting it to be juicy, but it was downright dry. The bacon was diced, the kind Americans use for carbonara, so to speak. The cheddar: 2 slices from the supermarket. The bun: burnt on the outside and moist on the inside. Side: French fries, cooked 3 hours earlier and reheated, so much so that they were just the outside skin and dry on the inside. Gentlemen, this is not good, you have a gigantic menu and it's killing you, simplify, do less is better, I'm telling you, the potential is there.

16/05/2026: Our waiter, Sérgio, served us very well. He gave us tips on wine and dishes from the restaurant. I had a spectacular Spaghetti Cacio e Pepe. Excellent. I recommend it.

16/05/2026: Antonio was the best! He had amazing service, great jokes, and took perfect care of us. Amazing recommendations of food and he had very fast service. The food was delicious!

03/06/2026: I had dinner here with a group of several people. We had mixed appetizers with meatballs, parmigiana, and more. We then shared the first courses, which were all very good, and finally, in my opinion, the best part: the meats. My friends and I chose cuts from the dry-aged selection. Both types of meat had fantastic flavors, and in my opinion, the cooking was perfect, not to mention the marbling. Everything was perfect!

02/06/2026: As a tourist, you're treated very badly. None of the pizzas we ordered had proper toppings, let alone tomato sauce. Later, we saw food at neighboring tables that looked better, but still nowhere near the price point. The waiter flirted unpleasantly and only brought us the bill after several tables that arrived after us had already left. Awful, as the name suggests. I can only advise against going there. You can get more authentic and better Italian food at any bakery or motorway service station.

03/05/2026: Stunning location, very kind staff, unfortunately the dishes chosen did not fully meet expectations, good but not as I would have expected, unbalanced taste and fried calamari not assessable, I will definitely return because I am convinced of the potential of the place

25/03/2026: I went back the other day with a friend of mine! Their sandwiches never disappoint! We tried a burger that was incredibly good, and the service was excellent!

16/03/2026: It's a decent burger, but it needs some work. The place is staffed by only one person, who doesn't seem very friendly. The burger itself isn't bad, and they apparently use good quality meat, but it's red inside and has a tough Maillard reaction on the outside. It could be improved.

15/04/2026: I'll state the facts: two half slices of bruschetta with tomatoes for €5, a first course served in a large salad bowl that made it seem even cheaper than it actually was, and a bill that predates the rise in prices and was presented on a piece of paper. An experience not to be repeated. I've stated the facts, and a clarification is needed regarding the price: one small dish and one first course for €24.50, excluding drinks. (I go grocery shopping and eat out often.) Have a nice day.

14/07/2025: This was a delightful restaurant very near Roma Termini. The staff was fantastic and so was the pasta. My grandson had their caccio e pepe twice! He said it was the best!

03/06/2026: The food was good, but when I checked the bill later, I found out that they sell the complimentary bread for 3 euros and charge a 15% service fee. I think it would be good to keep this in mind before you go.

28/05/2026: A classic Roman pizzeria that also makes excellent amatriciana and gricia. Prices are fair for a place near St. Peter's. The interior is, by necessity, a bit touristy, but the quality of the food is high and authentic, so much so that the place is popular with locals. The pizza is good, Roman-style, and the fried foods are also good.

15/04/2026: Wow!!! I live two meters from the restaurant and I go there at least once a week. The gricia with artichokes is AMAZING! Highly recommended

05/04/2026: First and last time. Nonexistent service, endless waits, and plates being exchanged at multiple tables. The cacio e pepe is awful.

12/05/2026: Disappointed, food was not good, we ordered pasta white porcini , and we received with champignon, poor taste. They charged me 5 euro more just for gluten free pasta. Don’t recommend.

06/05/2026: I organized an aperitif at the Carovana to celebrate my 60th birthday (after having already been there for my son's Communion and Confirmation) and this time too it was a success: excellent and abundant food, impeccable organization and service, beautifully decorated patio and room and the magical atmosphere created by live music, all surrounded by a garden with Roman excavations... Thank you for helping to make an already unforgettable evening perfect.

26/04/2026: If you like traditional Roman cuisine, but presented in a slightly more sophisticated way with smaller plates, then it might be a good option. The service could be better. They served people who arrived after me first, even though there were two of us. Two other people were "reprimanded" in a somewhat bizarre way ("Are you staying at home?") for taking a seat without asking if it was free. It should be noted that at that time, there weren't many people, only three tables. I wanted to order amatriciana with mezze maniche instead of spaghetti, but apparently I asked for too much.
