Bread was not good. Fried meatballs were just okay. The eggplant parm and carbonara were REALLY tasty! Great wine too! Cute spot

A lovely Italian restaurant in the heart of the tourist area but without being overly touristy. The meats were perfectly cooked and very delicious. The pasta and appetizers, especially the artichoke and eggplant, were carefully prepared and tasty. Definitely make a reservation.

Amazing restaurant all around with an exceptional waiter, environment and great food. The carbonara with savory pork and cheese was great as well as the steak and the spaghetti and clams. Seafood was very fresh and the price is very reasonable. Exceptional restaurant!

Upon returning to the apartment nearby, after several attempts to exchange cash for the €2 missing from the deposit, we tried to change it at Hostaria da Pietro. Since we didn't have any cash to change, a waitress gave us the money out of her own pocket. If it weren't for the fact that we have to go home tomorrow, we would definitely have stopped by to try their cuisine. Nothing like this has ever happened before. Thank you again for your kindness, which is increasingly rare these days. Silvia❤️

14/05/2026: Wonderful, one of the few real places left where you can experience the true Rome that's disappearing. The food is excellent and they're excellent. My friend and I had a great time and will definitely be back. Thanks guys!
30/04/2026: Don't worry if the place is empty at 7:30 pm; the Romans don't arrive until later – and that's a good sign. The service has a slightly understated charm, but the food is excellent, with sauces that are anything but ordinary. Truly Roman, truly Trastevere, far from the tourist crowds! And before that, don't miss Bernini's last masterpiece across the street in San Francesco a Ripa: the orgiastic face of the dying Ludovica Albertoni, in the left-hand side chapel.
