From the Italian songs as background music and Chianti bottles hanging from the roof , to a menu of solely Italian dishes this is not your typical tourist restaurant. Brno Alda was great as was pollo alls cacciatore. Give it a try

20/06/2024: Prezzi altissimi e cucina mediocre. Un piattino con zucchina, melanzana, un filetto di pomodoro, tre pezzettini in tutto 12 euro! Pasteis de nata, dolcetto alla crema portoghese, 8 euro ...decongelato del discount tedesco...vino della casa dei castelli romani che puzza di spirito...etichette che al supermercato paghi al massimo 5 euro, vendute a 30 euro. Ecco ti spieghi perché nei locali intorno c'è sempre la fila e da loro è sempre semivuoto. I clienti li puoi fregare una volta, poi se tornano sono dei masochisti.

08/06/2024: After the Vatican tour, it was the first food I bought in Italy. I was worried about going into the restaurant and ordering because I couldn't speak English, let alone Italian, but I was able to order safely after looking at the menu and gesturing. I ordered the kids' favorite seafood spaghetti, pizza, and my favorite salad. The waiter asked me if the food was good, and as I reminisced about the food after my 8-day trip to Italy and settled the expenses, it was one of the better restaurants I've experienced in the area, including the delicious food and service. But now I searched and found that it was a Portuguese restaurant haha. Still, I couldn't find a restaurant I looked for, so it was a leisurely and delicious lunch during a crowded lunch hour.

10/06/2024: Avevamo letto di questa trattoria un po nascosta ma vale la pena venire locale piccolo proprietario molto simpatico abbiamo preso primo secondo e contorno buono come la cucina di nonna prenotate in anticipo sempre pieno.

24/06/2024: Food? Lots and lots of it, in a family environment. Spectacular fried foods, abundant and delicious first courses, meats cooked to perfection. If you like substantial cuisine, with homemade products, this is the right place. I'll be back.

16/06/2024: 60's place but very clean, very kind staff. Found by chance.. very frugal lunch, we are passing through, bruscettine, excellent fried vegetables, plenty of spaghetti with tomato and basil, wine, sweet and bitter water. All very good, excellent price.. Congratulations

26/08/2024: I had the penne puttanesca. I would give it a 3. My sons liked their salmon which was good and the lasagna. My wife had the spicy spaghetti. Good service, could use better air circulation like a fan.

17/03/2024: Pessimo esempio di gestione di un ristorante , partiamo dal cibo antipasto porchetta pessimo lo abbiamo mangiato per fame , pane duro e secco, primi decenti nulla di che e poi il finale con il proprietario che gli yums , ben 2000 pari 50 euro secondo il suo parere era da applicare solo sul cibo , ho perso mezz'ora per spiegargli quello che era e nonostante ciò quanto mangiato era inferiore di oltre 15 euro alla somma di quanto preso , applicando i prezxi a modo suo , ma ripeto vergognoso atteggiamento e cobi di basso basdo livello , se volevi la pasta fresca dovevi pagare di più perché a suo dire the fork non li comprende . Allucinante .. MAI PIU MAI PIU , HO MANGIATO IN OLTRE 2000 RISTORANTI CON THE FORK QUESTO È IL PEGGIORE ASSOLUTO DA EVITARE ASSOLUTAMENTE

29/06/2024: I tried a very tasty entrecôte, served in a generous portion, to the requested doneness. Fair price.

07/08/2024: They gave me lasagna with aubergines instead of ragu, and mozzarella instead of béchamel. Very salty cheese and pepper, not recommended.

11/08/2024: Lovely place Staff in difficulty. Two waiters is not good for many people given the bill. Good food but a little expensive in my opinion. I can't compromise on one thing: numerous signs saying: I cannot enter, referring to dogs. They were on every corner. Remember that animals are better than people and if I have to choose I prefer a different environment and lately I have to say that almost all restaurants, even luxury ones, now accept furry friends. It's shameful, even though I didn't have the dog with me, I won't set foot there again until they remove the signs. Unfortunately I hate people who don't like animals.

12/08/2024: Good Roman trattoria, the pizza is also passable (ah if they used a decent mozzarella). Honest prices.

09/08/2024: Typical Roman trattoria with all traditional dishes, good quality, honest prices. The location overlooking the Tiber and Castel Sant'Angelo is exceptional

12/07/2024: Bonjour, Nous sommes venus entre amis à 5, le repas était parfait les plats de pâtes sont excellents et la quantité est très conséquente. Malheureusement notre visite a été marqué par un membre de personnel à la caisse très désagréable et non professionnel, au moment de l’addition nous voulions régler en cash mais celui-ci n’avait soit disant pas de monnaie! Il ne nous a aussi pas présenté le ticket de caisse et la politesse a été oubliée ( pas bonjour, pas merci, pas au revoir…). Il est inacceptable de retrouver ce genre de comportement dans un restaurant nous avons été très déçu lors de la fin de notre soirée!

06/07/2024: I decided to try this restaurant because it was recommended by a Roman friend. Experience NOT to be repeated. Acceptable service, incredible waits because the waiters were all focused on some foreign customers (as if Italians didn't pay...), normal food and honestly poorly presented. I had high expectations and I was very disappointed, I have to thank a very nice waitress and the meatballs with sauce.

14/02/2024: I thank the restaurant for canceling my reservation 3 hours before lunch on Valentine's Day without any explanation. It was not even possible to contact them by telephone. I imagine they had received other reservations outside of the fork, therefore without a discount, and therefore mine had decreased in importance

We went for lunch on Sunday with a friend, I've been there several times both to eat the pinsa and the first courses and I have to say everything is always delicious! Courteous and attentive staff, very nice, elegant and intimate location, suitable for every situation, good value for money. The desserts are also good. Advised
