02/08/2025: Conseillé par plusieurs nous y sommes allés assez méfiant mais le régal était au rendez-vous. Accueil chaleureux et sympathique : nous avons commencé par des anchois frits une « tuerie », puis des pâtes au homard un régal et au prix très raisonnable de 25€, et des saltimbocca. De la cuisine faite au moment , avec de bons produits: mériterait une récompense du Michelin

30/11/2025: I returned years after the review below (post-Covid) and the new owners had ruined it. The most disastrous dinner of my life. If the current owners aren't the same as in 2021, then great. But I would change the name if that's the case. -- Excellent. We had the chips as a starter—homemade and delicious—and two pasta dishes. One was carbonara, which was amazing, and the other, a daily special, was homemade fettuccine with Italian bacon, zucchini, and cream cheese. The pasta was incredible, some of the best we've ever had. With dessert and drinks, it came to €20. Very affordable in Rome for such good quality and flavor. Furthermore, the service, the attention to detail in the presentation of the dishes, and the decor of the restaurant were all excellent. Highly recommended, and we will definitely return.

13/02/2026: We went last night for an aperitivo with a selection of appetizers. The Campari spritz was good, just the right amount, but the platter was rather poor, with the pizza slices cold and dry. The sandwich quarters and the bowls with the various toppings were a little better. For €16 per person, I would have expected something better. It wasn't even late enough to justify such a small portion of food; at 8:00 pm, you expect something fresher. I went a while ago, and it cost €12, then quickly went up 30%. They don't realize that salaries and pensions have stagnated!

01/03/2026: I gave it 3 stars because there isn't much variety for each course, and the restaurant is so smokey that it makes your eyes burn. On the plus side, the food is very good and the service is very friendly. I would gladly return if the smoke were gone.

25/01/2026: A true Roman trattoria, rustic and welcoming, serving delicious, home-cooked dishes with a timeless flavor. The young woman who served us was extremely kind and friendly. A discovery we'll definitely return to if we ever return to this area.

07/02/2026: Guys, I really don't understand the negative reviews. The only logical explanation is that they come from particularly busy nights where something didn't work properly; otherwise, it's inexplicable. I'll review the restaurant, following Google's format. Food: Nothing to complain about. The food is delicious, the portions are adequate, and they don't skimp on the seasoning. Today, I ordered a cacio e pepe, which was the most seasoned I've ever had in my life and truly delicious. For a small extra charge (requested by me), I got a jumbo portion and was very satisfied. The other courses were also absolutely delicious. The only negative was the dessert, which I didn't find to be up to par, even though it was beautifully presented on a truly inviting dessert trolley, but the flavor was rather mediocre. Not bad, but not memorable. Everything else was excellent. Service: Friendly staff, The Fork discount applied, average wait times. Beautiful dishes and friendly staff. Bonus points for "La Lupa" (the giant dog at the cash register), the restaurant's mascot. Ambience: The setting is extraordinary, a typical renovated country farmhouse with a truly pleasant appearance, with a pleasant wood-burning scent reminiscent of a mountain hut. For me, a mountain lover, this smell (which was absolutely not intrusive, ed.) truly reminded me of home. Comfortable chairs, clean bathrooms, and, most importantly, private parking inside, which also takes this worry away when you come to the restaurant. It may seem like a small thing, but it's not. Especially since I have a disabled member of my family who requires a ramp and nearby parking, and La Lupa has both. Price: Absolutely average. We spent €29 per person and ate more than well and adequately. Unless you're going to Chinese restaurants (with all due respect to the Chinese) or street food, how much do you expect to spend? It's a price that, in Rome, is more than reasonable and not excessive. Note: Price does not include wine, which we didn't order. In conclusion: ignore the negative reviews; this restaurant deserves it. We'll be back and recommend you do the same. You won't regret it! David

04/02/2026: We are tourists and always seem to be the first to enter. But, we were greeted warmly and seated immediately. There was a little language barrier but with just one hiccup (we ordered broccoli but received spinach, no biggie) we enjoyed our meal. The restaurant is modern with a country vibe with subdued lighting and decorations of old cookware. The music is modern and soft making it seem romantic. I love the wine bottle lamps on each table

01/03/2026: Prices too high for the quality of the food. The mixed grill was NOT good, especially the pork, terrible. A side dish of two artichokes and three fried artichoke leaves cost €18, which was really too much. Not to mention the basket of bread brought to the table, WITHOUT OUR ASKING FOR IT AND WITHOUT OUR EATING IT, costing €5.

22/02/2026: We had a delicious gluten-free pasta carbonara, half a kilo of Italian ribeye steak, and house wine. Excellent quality and top-notch service—a fantastic team! Highly recommended!
