We happened upon this place by chance, near the vintage show, enticed by the positive reviews we'd read. We didn't have a table reservation. The orders took forever to arrive at our table of four, all in random order, forcing us to eat one at a time. A forgotten appetizer even arrived with one of the first courses. The wait staff was very committed, but spoke and understood little Italian. A 75 cc bottle of still water cost €2, and the coffee arrived, just as we were paying the bill, for €2 in a small plastic cup. I'm trying to be understanding, thinking that it was all due to the staff being capable but insufficient for the number of seats in the crowded indoor and outdoor dining room. Other customers had similar complaints. With a few adjustments, it could improve.

I went back in November and ordered spaghetti alla vongole. I had wanted to try it in July and since the experience had been wonderful I thought it was worth going back. It was a disappointment. It lacked salt, it lacked seasoning. Not even the vongole, which I love, had any flavor. A shame. Their wine list is very good, the atmosphere is excellent, and the service is also very good. But, due to my bad experience on the second visit, I think it's only really worth it for the spaghetti alfredo, which, it seems, was created in this restaurant.

20/10/2025: I absolutely don't understand all the hype about this place. It's a perfectly average restaurant, the food is adequate but nothing exceptional. I ordered the supplì (which cost €10, by the way) and got two small, burnt dumplings. If you talk to a waiter, you're almost met with a huff, as it seems like he's doing you a favor just by talking to you. Terrible service is an understatement. Never again, bye.

We are only talking about the pizza product consumed in this restaurant, obviously nothing else that I cannot judge. The product is presented in small dimensions that immediately gave the impression of being little more than a cheap focaccia but with the same cost as a normal-sized pizza, with a dough that is too biscuity to seem little similar to what one would expect from a traditional pizza. I went to this place to celebrate my birthday with an aperitif, at the recommendation of two friends who had already been there during the summer and had a great time. We arrived and were seated in a partially enclosed outdoor area, without any heating (considering the temperatures in Rome these days, it wasn't pleasant) on extremely uncomfortable wicker sofas and armchairs, with cushions so thin they might as well have been nonexistent. A friend asked for a vegan option, and was told they'd bring her the classic aperitif and she could leave out the meat. Another person in the group asked for a gluten-free aperitif. After a while, they bring us the appetizers, but the gluten-free one doesn't arrive. After 3 reminders and about 40 minutes of waiting, with waiters who barely speak Italian and don't even know what they're bringing to your table, the appetizer for the celiac finally arrives. It consists of a gluten-free focaccia, a plate of exclusively grilled eggplant and zucchini (they could have brought it to the vegan, but they didn't), and only 2 pieces of meat sushi. No cold cuts, no olives, nothing else. Everything was requested at least 2-3 times before it was brought to us. Terrible service, totally disorganized. At one point, I even feared they'd lost the cake I'd brought to celebrate my birthday because the waiter couldn't figure out which one it was. Ultimately, they even made me pay for cutting the cake for terrible service and a colossal embarrassment to the people I'd invited. I even went to the other side of Rome for a place like this... 04/11/2025: One of the worst experiences in Rome. This is coming from someone who lives here, not just on vacation. Prices for Italians are different from those for foreigners/tourists. The handwritten menu doesn't have prices, and they order whatever they want. They told me and the people who were with me that the dishes were all €13… not to mention the other prices, like side dishes at €7… the portions are very small, and it's hard to believe this when you see two men next to you paying €20 together, each ordering a first course, a side dish, and wine… oh, and the card machine only magically works with Italian cards; we foreigners are forced to withdraw the amount they invent on the spot. Not only do they cheat on the prices, but they inflate the total of those prices even further.
