This place was phenomenal. Best pasta we’ve ever had. The pasta was phenomenal, the rest of the food though was just okay. The servers were also incredibly kind and patient as my husband was trying to find parking and I sat at our table waiting for him for almost an hour - they were very understanding and kind.

Despite the popularity you may hear about this place on TikTok and other modern day forms of social media, it does not live up to the hype. It’s clear this place is geared towards tourists since everything was highly overpriced, the portions were huge, and no locals were dining here. Coming here to dine once and see what it’s like is fine, however I would personally never come back. €15 for one Aperol Spritz is way too overpriced and the ginormous portion of Alfredo pasta left me feeling gross and bad afterwards.

With the intention of sightseeing, I made a reservation for 6:30 pm and entered the restaurant first, ordering fettuccine, clam spaghetti, and calamari. My wife said she would never be able to finish all of it, but since it was a specialty, she insisted that if she couldn't finish it, she could just leave it. The fettuccine is mixed with salty cheese and is surprisingly easy to eat. The clam spaghetti has thick noodles that are chewy and filling. The calamari is normally delicious, but the prawns are fried together, which is delicious. I like squid, but I think I'll start liking shrimp. Before I knew it, the two of us had eaten three plates. The inside of the restaurant is filled with photos of celebrities, and the waiters in waistcoats and ties move around briskly, giving the restaurant a lively atmosphere. Well, it's a store that brings back memories.

Tradizione italiana Locale storico della cucina romana, arredato con gusto. Si mangia bene e ci trovi vere e proprie specialità! Le Fettuccine Alfredo un piatto da non perdere. Servizio rapido ed efficiente, cortese e sorridente. Bravi

07/04/2024: A rare gem and a true 10/10. We visited during a busy sunny lunch but chose to sit inside because the interiors are nothing short of cinematic. Everything is authentic and original which results in a time-travelling experience un-like many restaurants in the world. Because everyone else was outside there was nothing to indicate the modern resulting in the true fantasy of 1950s glamorous Rome. Please never change the interiors or add ugly modern features- it’s perfect just how it is ❤️ the owner was friendly and cool and all the waiters look sharp, elegant and professional in their white tuxedos and bow ties. My wine was one of the nicest I’ve had in years. Starter was tasty and unique and served on great plates. I’d love to see a few more vegetarian/ vegan options, fresh Italian salads or vegetable pasta sauces, otherwise I cannot fault this restaurant. Thank you!
