My wife and I had a perfect evening at Grottino 1912. We started with an excellent egg with tuna sauce, followed by a creamy carbonara and textbook Roman-style involtini. The zabaglione and biscotti finale was the icing on a truly memorable dinner. Authentic Roman cuisine, just like it used to be. The atmosphere is quaint. We'll definitely be back!

05/05/2026: Very friendly, relaxed, and personal. That's exactly what I imagine a small, authentic family-run business to be like. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. If you're looking for a relaxed and authentic meal away from mass tourism, this is the place for you.
01/05/2026: The restaurant appealed to us at first. The prices were quite reasonable, so we thought: let's take a seat. The waiter, who wasn't very friendly, placed (or rather, threw) the crockery on the table. Opinions at the table were divided about the food. It was good, but there was absolutely nothing with the meat (no salad, no pasta, just meat).
