18/02/2026: A group of five stopped for lunch while visiting Ariccia. I must say, we couldn't have asked for a better experience. We were greeted just like at a classic Roman osteria, with their warmth and helpfulness. The lunch was truly excellent, the portions generous, and the bill more than fair. I highly recommend a stop at "Dar Compare."

07/03/2026: Elegance, comfort, quality, excellent service.
It's got everything it deserves, with several dining rooms, all welcoming, especially the one with the red sofas and leather chairs.
The meat was excellent, perfectly cooked.
For appetizers, the tripe was delicious and well-cooked, as were the beans with pork rind.
The waiters were courteous and the service was prompt—my compliments.
The quality/price ratio was excellent.

06/02/2026: I arrived at this little place at 1:45 PM for an alternative lunch, but unfortunately, it completely disappointed my expectations. It was closed, despite the fact that the Google hours listed it as closing at 2:30 PM. One person inside, lost in scrolling, didn't even bother to say hello, but simply raised his hand to say 'DONE!'
High expectations miserably disappointed.
06/01/2026: Takeout dinner.
We had two very good burgers, a Joe Black and a Baconator, with classic and sweet potato fries.
The owner is kind and helpful. The wait was short, but you can order ahead and pick up when it's ready.
The place is small but very cute and unique.
Recommended for those who want a quality burger, perhaps with some original combinations.

22/02/2026: Terrible service... 20 minutes for a menu, an hour for an appetizer of only cured meats, my girlfriend had to get up and ask for the dishes. An hour eating only bread, disoriented waiters, no organization... I closed a liter of house wine and I received half a liter... I came in at 1:00 and at 2:30 they brought me the appetizer... the first courses arrived, overcooked gnocchi and raw fettuccine with porcini mushrooms... I won't tell you the rest...

15/02/2026: Looking for a restaurant that wasn't closed after 11 p.m., we stumbled upon this tavern, searching for some good meat. The atmosphere was very rustic, the staff was simply exquisite. I ate a tagliata of pure guduria, the meat as tender as butter. Unfortunately, due to the late hour, I didn't feel like trying dessert, but I did see some tiramisu going around, and I suggest returning as soon as possible to try the pasta dishes and the tempting arrosticini. The only thing that could be improved is the bathroom, but that's okay.

The traditional dishes are carefully prepared and never disappoint: flavorful first courses, tasty second courses, and quality ingredients. You can taste the attention paid to the selection and pairings, everything cooked to perfection.
The quality-price ratio is fair, and the atmosphere is welcoming, perfect for a dinner with friends or enjoying a home-cooked meal. I always love coming back! 🍝🍷

04/03/2026: Probably some of the worst food ive ever had in Italy, let alone Rome. Wildly expensive, unripe tomatoes and poor quality pasta. Poor and slow service, no atmosphere, hates tourists even if you speak italian.
Do yourself a favour and go elsewhere.

15/03/2026: An evening with a nearby table of people smoking disgusting electronic cigarettes in the face of the bans and the best part is that they were friends or acquaintances of the owner or manager, bill presented verbally, I'm not complaining about the early but I would like to know what I'm paying for, never again

19/03/2026: One of the best restaurants we tried while in Rome. The food was absolutely amazing. Both the carbonara and the tiramisu are 10/10. We waited for about an hour in line before getting in, but it was definitely worth it. The service was a little all over the place and we never received the starter bread we ordered but overall, it was a pleasant experience!
18/03/2026: Been coming here for years, and Trattoria da Enzo never disappoints. The food is consistently outstanding, full of rich, authentic Roman flavors and made with real care. Every visit feels like a true local experience.
The atmosphere is lively and welcoming, and the service always keeps things moving despite how popular it is. They no longer take reservations, but it’s absolutely worth the wait. One of the best places to eat in Rome, hands down.

02/03/2026: If you want a 100% authentic Roman experience, this is the place! This restaurant takes you back in time and lets you try old-fashioned Roman cuisine, made with offal and giblets. However, if you want one of the classic first courses like carbonara or amatriciana, you won't be disappointed. The service is friendly and very welcoming! My friends and I will definitely be back! Come on!

13/01/2026: Everyone shares their experience. The place is welcoming and well-presented, as is the welcome. We ate meat, from chicken to pork. What I had was pork. Not a good impression. The taste was that of reheated roast meat. I understand that you can't expect it to be cooked on the spot, but neither can it be reheated. Everything else became irrelevant. Maybe it was just my impression, but I can recognize a reheated dish, and that was it. The cuisine needs reconsidering. For me, NI.
03/01/2026: Excellent trattoria with an open grill, where the food is excellent and you're always greeted by the kindness and professionalism of the owner and his wife.
Highly recommended and definitely worth returning.

21/02/2026: A well-deserved 5 stars for this restaurant! Simple dishes, but executed with exceptional skill. I've never eaten focaccia like this, with those chunks of tomato on top, juicy and flavorful. The amatriciana is the best in Rome, made with real guanciale, and the fusillo with tomato sauce and ricotta was literally so good it made you cry.
The service was incredibly kind and sweet; we appreciated every single detail. Unbeatable value for money. Highly recommended!
