They don't allow reservations for groups of less than 8 people, which meant we had to wait half an hour for a table. It wasn't my first time there, but the food is good, the service is excellent, and the staff is friendly, helpful, and courteous. We had supplì and croquettes for appetizers, which were good. For starters, we had arrabbiata and carbonara, which were also good, although the arrabbiata had way too much oil. Overall, though, we had a good time.

For me, it's been the best in the area since I was a kid and I've been going there for 30 years. It has no flaws. I can't find any. Maybe just the wait for the pizza on Saturday night, but they tell you, so you know. Always perfect.

A corner of Rome in Cinecittà that stands the test of time, and thankfully so! La Pineta isn't just a trattoria for me: it's a piece of my history. As a kid, with my high school friends, it was our regular hangout for pizza, a laugh, and a few too many supplì. Years later, returning is always a pleasure—and the great thing is that it's still run by the same family, with one of the oldest brothers always present and a staff, mostly "family," who maintains that genuine and welcoming atmosphere. The place is a proper Roman trattoria/pizzeria: a spacious interior, ample covered outdoor space, and cuisine that embraces tradition, yet still incorporates a few modern touches. The pizza is classic Roman: thin, crispy, and well-topped. The supplì—believe me—are among the best I've ever eaten, crispy on the outside and stringy on the inside, and the cod fillets are excellent, too. Among the first courses, the tomato gnocchi are worth a try (simple but perfect), and I recommend the tagliata. Last but not least, the Bronte pistachio dessert is a must rather than a recommendation. A good selection of draft beers and a good wine list, well-chosen for the cuisine. Even the service, despite the restaurant often being packed (especially on Saturday nights), is always fast, friendly, and attentive. In short, La Pineta has remained true to itself while keeping pace with the times. A simple, authentic place where you eat well and feel better. And every visit is like stepping back in time, but with today's flavors. Highly recommended.

Ok for a carefree evening, thin and well-topped Roman pizza.

The food was very good and there was a nice waitress.

Unfortunately, I'm unlucky. The first time, after an hour of waiting and the restaurant was full, they told me to wait another 30 minutes and I left. The second time, the first course was served 40 minutes later, after having served the others at my table! I ate alone; the others had finished a while ago! This was after I urged the waiters several times. The service was terrible, a shame.

Roman pizza like in the old days. No longer available. Everything perfect.

Shame about the service but you can't wait 2 hours for pizzas, give priority to takeaway and those who are seated inside with a reservation are made to wait.... And I wasn't the only one who complained

The place is just like it used to be and the pizza is delicious, like you won't find anywhere else these days.
