05/08/2025: A top-notch restaurant, nothing to complain about. All the staff were super kind and respectful, no issues at all. The food was prepared with care and passion, leaving not only an Italian flavor, but also that special taste of a dish made with love. I hope to return one day and see everyone again. Highly recommended. Fair price, unmatched flavor, and special attention from everyone to their customers. Hugs.

30/07/2025: The quality of the food, the kindness and friendliness of the staff (Duan in particular), and the precision of the service are among the things I've repeatedly appreciated most at Taverna "I Torquati." It's hard to find a place in Rome where you're not treated like a tourist, but here, the honesty and the pleasure of hospitality are the rule. This place is a constant stop every time I visit Rome. I know I'll leave completely satisfied every time I enter!

21/04/2025: Siamo stati il giorno di Pasqua all' Osteria 29 un pranzo eccezionale con un buon antipasto nella fedele tradizione romana una lasagna morbida e gustosa per non parlare dell' agnello che così buono non l ho mai mangiato e poi vuoi mettere la simpatia dell' oste... abbiamo passato un piacevole pranzo pasquale bravissimi!!!!

16/04/2025: Osteria semplice e schietta, offerta tradizionale e ben fatta, senza grossi difetti. Cucina abbastanza veloce. Unica cosa che non m’ha convinto l’antipasto fritto romano, composto da 1 piatto di ottime verdure in pastella.. ma solo quello.. se si confronta con l’antipasto dell’oste non c’è paragone per prezzo e varietà/quantità. Oste che interpreta perfettamente il ruolo, amichevole e un pò scojonato! 4 stelle se raffrontato con altre centinaia di locali simili che in realtà sono sòle!

The staff is very friendly (though not always very knowledgeable), and the atmosphere is casual. Delivery times and prices are very reasonable.

22/07/2025: A proper hidden gem tucked away on the outskirts of Rome, serving up real-deal Roman food with charm and character. Food: The beef tripe was gently stewed to perfection, rich and flavourful with that old-school Roman heart. The carbonara was the real kind too, none of that cream nonsense—just beautifully rendered guanciale, silky egg yolk, and a generous grating of Parmigiano. Honest cooking, full of soul. Drinks: A lovely wine list, but what really made me smile was their cheeky little table suggesting which wine to drink depending on your “ailment.” It added a light-hearted touch and got everyone at the table talking. Service: Kind, attentive, and proud of what they serve. You can tell it’s a place that cares. Verdict: If you’re after traditional Roman food done right, with a side of laughter and local spirit, this is well worth the trip.

19/07/2025: Seguiamo questo ristorante fin dalla sua apertura. Famoso per i suoi succulenti primi romani, questa volta abbiamo assaggiato cabonare, gricia e amatriciana senza "quid", con poco ?guanciale? tagliato a striscioline sottilissime, dalla consistenza di un bollito, e con parte della pasta, già non ben amalgamata in partenza, che alla fine annegava sul fondo di un piato "MOOOLTO" fondo, in un condimento non abbastanza denso, al quale la qualità del formaggio usato non ha fatto premio, come dovrebbe in tali primi. In altre parole, non mi è parsa molto curata le realizzazione dei piatti. sarà stato un caso, la sfortuna o i gusti.

13/09/2025: I returned to this restaurant on September 12, 2025, for lunch with my daughter and wife. We tried various dishes (meatballs, zucchini flowers, amatriciana, and arrabbiata). I specifically ate the rigatoni with pajata sauce, and after about an hour I began to feel severe abdominal pain, followed by vomiting, a high fever, and diarrhea (still ongoing). Disgusting.

30/07/2025: Mimmo is a guarantee; the atmosphere is one where you feel at ease, where you can recharge after a long day at work. The pizza is excellent, classic Roman, and without the pretensions of "gourmet pizzerias" that leave you feeling like you're in for a ride, often leaving your wallet feeling unnecessarily light and your stomach feeling bloated. The fried foods are delicious, and their supplì are unsurpassed.

13/07/2025: First course: linguine allo scoglio, very well made and delicious. The appetizer was good, but I had a small complaint about the octopus and potato salad (too much celery and not enough octopus and potatoes). The service was excellent, with very friendly waiters, especially the owner's son, who offered us a delicious shortino (a pasta dish made with licorice and herbs) (not at all heavy or light). The atmosphere was great.

12/07/2025: Excellent traditional Roman dishes. A welcoming, family atmosphere! Fast, friendly staff! I recommend it for an evening of good food and good company.

20/07/2025: A restaurant in the center of Rome, directly overlooking the Circus Maximus. A quaint, family-friendly atmosphere. Excellent seafood and mountain cuisine. Friendly and welcoming owners. Fair prices. Everything was excellent. Thank you, Alvaro at the Circus Maximus!

06/07/2025: Everything was delicious. We ordered a seafood risotto, and despite its appearance, it was delicious. Then we had spaghetti carborana. The sauce lacked a bit of flavor, but it was very good. The tiramisu was delicious. The waiter was very helpful, and the service was very fast.

31/08/2025: Inside the EurRoma2 shopping center, a restaurant and pizzeria serving traditional Roman dishes. Good food, fast service.

30/08/2025: Fantastic food we had the grilled chicken with oven baked potatoes and the steak. The only thing I would say is that we had the pasta dish (carbonara and the plain one) it was VERY SALTY, we couldn’t finish it! Great service too! It gets very full quickly! We came here lots for our lunch and dinner! The owner is very attentive too! Great desert ♥️ I would definitely recommend it!

17/08/2025: The new location is the icing on the cake for this restaurant. Excellent dishes, with a delicious new twist on the desserts (excellent), in a bright and absolutely pleasant atmosphere. The service, as always, is impeccable.

20/07/2025: We came here based on the recommendation from our hotel looking for more local and less touristy food. So glad we did! The food was outstanding and the wait staff was incredibly helpful. We asked them to recommend the best dishes and they didn’t let us down. We started with the house made beef carpaccio (which is the best I have ever had) and 3 meatballs. The pasta was perfectly al dente. We finished with the dish if the day, which was a swordfish. It was moist (I never eat swordfish since it is so dry) and the olive, tomato, caper sauce on it was outstanding. I have seen other reviews complain about the service, but that wasn’t the case with our visit. Both of our waiters were overly attentive. (I am used to European service and don’t expect a lot of “is everything ok”, in fact I appreciate it in Europe.). Make sure to try the Vermentino from Sardinia. It was perfectly dry and crisp

Every time I go, often, it's always a confirmation because no matter what first or second course you order, you're never disappointed. In fact, you'll want to return for more! Highly recommended.
