If you like traditional Roman cuisine, but presented in a slightly more sophisticated way with smaller plates, then it might be a good option. The service could be better. They served people who arrived after me first, even though there were two of us. Two other people were "reprimanded" in a somewhat bizarre way ("Are you staying at home?") for taking a seat without asking if it was free. It should be noted that at that time, there weren't many people, only three tables. I wanted to order amatriciana with mezze maniche instead of spaghetti, but apparently I asked for too much.

I local friend told me about the place. The place it’s very simple, we love it. The waiters were very kind and helpful. We lunch out side and it was nice to experience the urban atmosphere of this side of Rome. My wife try the carbonara, I went for the meat balls. We try also the pappa Al pomodoro (we love it). If you are used to carbonara with bacon, and you are not a natural fat lover, maybe not the best option. My wife liked the cream but the meat got are a bit queasy. For me was perfect taste and balance between the meat and the cheese cream. The meat balls looked small on the fotos but they were very consistent. the green sauce with them was very good and I felt satisfied. The wine of the house it’s a perfect choose. We love it and I wish we can try again in the next time.

A classic Roman trattoria. A cheerful atmosphere and good food. Highly recommended.

Roman style... my son and I took the wrong bus, we were supposed to go back to Trastevere, but we got off and it occurred to me that I'd seen the area and thought there might be something interesting, I opened Google Maps and... Wow, a place on the list of places to visit. We hadn't booked, of course, but the manager, very friendly as is Roman tradition, made me wait 10 seconds; he found two seats for my son and me, followed by the waitress with a devastating and persistent smile, who took our order. For my son, the choice was obvious: carbonara; for me, not so much, but the choice arrived in no time: egg in trippato, artichoke alla giudia, and puntarelle. Let's start with the artichoke: tender inside and crunchy leaves, not stringy here, excellent; puntarelle: as a lover who makes homemade very often, I found them very tender; I asked what the secret was and he told me the quality of the plant, he's right 🤣, egg in trippato: fa-bu-lo-lo-lo, my grandfather made it the same and the experience was unique; I liked it and my son liked it. Carbonara: divine, well done, of course, but with a little guanciale, according to my son's tastes, who commented that I make it better 🤣, not true but said by my son it's double the value, in my taste it was excellent, even the choice not to use 100% pecorino. At the end of the meal, I pointed out the goodness of the egg and with devastating smiles from the entire staff they pointed me out as guilty, in a good way. The bill was very fair and it was pleasant to chat, as a former restaurateur also with the waitress who brought me the bill. To conclude, fantastic staff, fabulous welcome, spectacular food. Very honest bill, highly recommended.

Unfortunately, the service completely ruined our lunch. A truly unprofessional attitude: inappropriate responses and the constant feeling of being a nuisance, as if we were doing the restaurant a favor. They left our trays at the table with the words, "Share yourselves the food." Where are we? A shame, because the food was good and the value for money was quite reasonable. But with service like that, it's hard to leave with a good impression.

I ordered a first course without cheese. It arrived loaded with cheese. I sent it back. The same dish came back, only very creamy. It was a shame that the flavor of the gnocchi with the sauce was completely lost. An annoying mistake.

We had dinner on Friday.. A wonderful and authentic place!! The food is top-notch, but what really struck us was the politeness of the waitresses. Always ready to lend a hand and offer advice!! There were four of us, including a two-year-old who slept in the stroller. They immediately found a perfect setting for our needs. Having places like this ❤️❤️ Dar Parrucca has become one of our favorite places. Thank you for all the smiles you've given us.

The food is excellent, Roman cuisine, plentiful and flavorful, with excellent fried foods. The place is small, so when it's busy, it can get a bit noisy, but that's a welcome feature. If you're in a hurry, we've experienced slow service a couple of times, but nothing disastrous.
