Excellent cuisine, definitely a top spot in Rome (but Romans know much more, these are the comments of a young lady from Piedmont who loves good food made with love and simple, authentic ingredients). My pasta carbonara was creamy, the perfect portion, and paired with a good Lazio wine, highly recommended by the staff (who were otherwise very kind, helpful, and attentive). The appetizers were also very good, accompanied by crusty, inviting bread. A truly excellent dinner, both for the palate and the mood. I highly recommend it, but make sure to book, as I believe it's impossible to get a table without a reservation.

Roman trattoria.
The soft and juicy artichoke is very good.
Try the liver crostini, really good.
Expertly cooked carbonara; I would have kept the spaghetti a little more al dente.
The brisket with pate (sautéed breadcrumbs) was excellent.
The desserts could be improved.
The tart is a bit dry.

First of all, we ate really well from the starter to the dessert. The only flaw was two items on the bill: Vignarola, a vegetable starter costing €16 per person and a terrific amaro, €8. We had drunk the same amaro in another place for lunch, paying €5 and with a more generous portion.

My review is due to the arrogance and rudeness of the girl who was at the cash register at the time of payment, when asked for a separate bill she replied "you can't pay by card or split the bill" in a rude way, as if it were normal to act in this way

The carbonara was truly excellent, and the service from the waiters was good: everyone was very courteous and polite. The prices were also excellent. The only problem we encountered was at the cash register. A particularly rude woman was there, and when we asked to split the bill, she told us it wasn't possible, quite arrogantly and without even providing any apparent reason.
Unfortunately, up until that point, the experience had been excellent; I'm sorry that certain lazy and arrogant employees ruin the restaurant's image.
Apart from that, everything was excellent.

Everything was incredibly delicious. Seriously. I was speechless. We ordered pizzas and pasta. The pesto pasta was amazing, no doubt. Everything was delicious.

A delicious trattoria just steps from Vittorio Emanuele, so easy to get to. Top-notch food, the cacio e pepe served in a beautiful loaf pan is a real treat, and the pork is delicious and crispy!
The staff also recommended the ricotta and sour cherry tart!
Some confusion regarding the dishes' delivery, but nothing too serious. I'll be back to try another first course!

Oh well, here you're flying! Tonnarelli cacio e pepe to die for, perfect artichokes, friendly, informal, and fast service. Roman and non-Roman clientele, but not tourists. Highly recommended.
