A historic restaurant serving traditional Roman cuisine. It's very busy, so reservations are essential. Outdoor dining is pleasant in the summer, and the presence of mushrooms in the winter ensures a pleasant evening. Excellent food quality and reasonable prices.

This place is called Caccio e Pepe, still they cannot make a proper one. The pasta was not creamy at all, but grumpy. Carbonara was also bad. I could have asked for an Andouillette as well…

Amazing food, welcoming atmosphere and kind waiters - they speak English as well. Quick serving and excellent overall experience. We had the cannoli, cacio e Pepe and a tiramisu for dinner. Surprisingly cheap for quality food at central location.

A popular and very welcoming place. Very good pasta, amatriciana, gricia, carbonara... Very good antipasti and at a reasonable price. We will repeat!

We set outdoors under a canopy for lunch. No paper menu, on chalk boards and only in Italian. Check menu on line before going to allow you to know before you go. First plate is just that, first. My sister ordered eggplant parmesan. We both ordered pennette alla amatrician (rigatoni with a sauce made from guanciale (cured pork cheek), San Marzano tomatoes, Pecorino cheese and white wine). I call it delicious. We added a salad, bread, and two cokes. Total bill was 48 euros. Absolutely 5 star. Local eatery...where the locals eat.

05/05/2026: Good evening, I'm not from the area. I found the restaurant on Google after several searches. I have to compliment the entire staff on their hospitality and table service. The food is high-quality, and meat lovers will find a wide selection. The man in charge of the meat counter and the cook will be able to advise you and, above all, accommodate your requests. Finally, I ask for the bill, and I have to say the prices are really fair. We'll be back soon. Thank you all.
31/03/2026: It's a respectable family-run business; I always take them there for meat whenever I have guests. It's located outside the city and the prices are very reasonable.
