Typical Roman restaurant in the heart of Testaccio. Simple but welcoming place. We ate tripe, oxtail, chicken with peppers, chicory with anchovies and artichokes. All cooked according to true Roman tradition. Attentive and competent staff. As a Roman I recommend.

Typical Roman restaurant in the Testaccio area. Possibility to choose between different locations, such as veranda, interior or tavern. Given the last minute booking, we adapted to the tavern solution, which at times appeared a little chaotic, but was well managed by the staff. Excellent lunch, despite many different choices in the order (thanks to the chef for his patience). Rich appetizers that go beyond the classic platters. Amatriciana highly appreciated, as are the other early Romans. The desserts were also very tasty. Everything was seasoned by the friendliness of the waiter. Prices in line with the Roman average.

If you want to try the local Italian cuisine, you should definitely go. The tripe, lamb meat with potatoes and pasta were great.
The attention and friendliness of the employees and their efforts to tell us that my tripe was a cow were superb.💚🙏

Top Roman restaurant! Every time I come to Rome from Puglia I have to stop by Paolo at Bucatino. In addition to the spectacular food, you feel at home, fast and reasonably priced. Best regards from Rosanna and Domenico Genchi

Bucatino as it should. Tasty al dente with obligatory shoe. The Roman artichoke is also excellent. Fair price. Roman style service...nice and pleasant. Royal tavern atmosphere. Super recommended.

Dopo diversi anni siamo tornati , insieme a miei parenti in questo locale, ambiente assolutamente uguale , con tradizionale cortesia sia dei proprietari che dei camerieri.
Antipasti buoni nelle varie portate che ..data l'abbondanza abbiamo diviso in 4.
Ottimi ed abbondanti i pici alla gricia, davvero succulenti.
Buoni i vari dessert e il vinello della casa. Conto nella norma.
Servizi igienici puliti.
Un piccolo punto a sfavore.......pensavo che c'era ancora il mega buffet di antipasti.. una leccornia, invece niente il bancone ..dopo il covid ...........non è stato più proposto.. un vero peccato, era una gioia sia per gli occhi che per il palato.
Comunque, se si è in zona Testaccio, consigliato

Testaccio. Locale come da attese: finto ignorante, strategico, curato.
Personale super gentile a partire dal nostro cameriere: un attore.
Tavoli comodi ed abbastanza distanziati.
Quando la cucina tradizionale è semplificata all'osso, gli ingredienti buoni ed i piatti abbondanti, hai vinto a mani basse.
Ci siamo inchinati davanti a due piatti di bucatini all'amatriciana, puntarelle carciofi, buon vino, e quell'ananas utile più alla coscienza che al giro vita.
Ma tant'è!
Bravi. E grazie per il bavaglione.
Ci torno per forza. Consiglio d'obbligo.
