Too bad they arrived 60 minutes after ordering!
In our area, if we make a guest wait for 60 minutes without communicating the wait and without offering them some interlude, we will close up shop!
High prices, 1 glass of wine €8.
Probably a place for the caste :-)

Had lunch outside, great meal! Fried Artichokes, home made pasta, very good. But it fills up fast, arrived just as they opened and soon the outside terrace was full.

Elegant place, with prices appropriate to the service. The wine list is a giant book, so the cellar is well stocked. Very good food, moderate portions. Advised.

Fabulous place to eat excellent Italian food. We had prosciuto and fried zuchinni flower. The later was filled with a slice of anchovy which gave explosive umami taste. I had lamb stew with artichoke which was so tender and delicate. My wife ordered bucatini amatriciana that came with thick tomato sauce and guanciale. Pair them with barbaresco wine, voala! Thanks to a friend who recommended and made the reservation for us.

Historic restaurant offering typical Roman cuisine. Really good first courses. A special mention certainly goes to the carbonara perspective. A negative note is the waiting times... We probably tried to maximize the number of covers but didn't have the capacity in the kitchen to serve them adequately. If you are a patient customer highly recommended.

Un classicissimo romano, con le portate tradizionali effettivamente di alta qualità e in porzioni giuste, anche se forse nessuna di queste spicca particolarmente (o forse sono tutte buonissime, dolci compresi). La sala riservata al piano inferiore nella cantina è una chicca da consigliare. Da provare!

Called on a Monday afternoon and was able to reserve a table for two, outside. They had heaters outside and so it was very pleasant to sit outdoors. Friendly staff. The wine list is enormous, so we asked our server for assistance and he helped us select a very nice bottle of wine. We had the fried mixed platter which was lovely, very light and crisp, two servings of pasta (carbonara and pajata), and shared a nicely seasoned steak with potatoes. Pleasant experience.
