06/10/2025: I "discovered" this trattoria recently and was won over by the homey, quintessentially Roman atmosphere. I ate a delicious carbonara, and after two days I brought about twenty friends with me, many of whom Romans vouched for the deliciousness of the food and the atmosphere.

10/09/2025: Trattoria with a capital T! Rustic, classic trattoria atmosphere with red and white checkered tablecloths and photos of Italian cinema icons on the walls. The heart of the place is the staff, who entertain and offer friendly, helpful advice. The traditional menu features a wide selection of appetizers, first courses, second courses, side dishes, and desserts, all expertly prepared. Fair prices and generous portions. Recommended.

20/10/2025: Everything was very good and the staff were very kind.

18/10/2025: The staff was very attentive, especially Mauricio, a native of Bahia, who was very welcoming, courteous, and eager to help us. The dishes were well-served, impeccably flavored, and reasonably priced (mine was cacio e pepe, which cost 12 euros, and my wife's was carbonara, which cost 11 euros).

20/10/2025: Delicious dishes, easy service (could be more professional), nice patio.

18/10/2025: Disappointed! Aggressive attitude of the waiter for the simple fact that I took a seat from another table. According to him, I should have gone inside and asked. I think this observation could have been made in a polite manner. I can't say anything about the food because with such an approach to the customer, of course we got up and left.

04/11/2025: I had a wonderful amatriciana... pasta al dente, with the thinly sliced ​​bacon that almost melted into the sauce... mopping up the sauce was a must ☺️. My husband had a cacio e pepe, which he really enjoyed. To finish, I had a freshly made tiramisu, truly delicious.

01/11/2025: Flew into Rome to celebrate a birthday.. This restaurant was an unexpected delight. Food and atmosphere was amazing!

10/10/2025: This place has remained in my heart ever since I tasted its delicacies three years ago. I finally got to return to Rome, and this was my first visit. It's always top-notch in everything, just as I remembered, and the staff is truly courteous. I especially thank Beatrice for her professionalism and kindness.... I'm almost tempted to go back tomorrow!!! 😋

09/10/2025: We ate very well on the terrace. The pasta was delicious. I really liked the carbonara and the one with tomato and basil, simpler but very delicious. We also tried the rice croquettes, which we loved, and the amatriciana meatballs. The latter were very tasty and worth trying. The service was very good.

23/10/2025: The sign bears a date, 1924, a distant memory that inspires curiosity and tenderness. Now it's 2024, and time seems to have stood still for this osteria, which when it opened was truly out of town, as they say in Rome. Roman dishes are brought to nearby tables, and you wish they were diverted to yours. Then there are also the specials of the day, which, on this occasion, the hungry traveler requested for a variety of choices. Artichoke alla giudia to start, expertly prepared and awarded as such to a quivering stomach. The white lasagna with anchovies and pumpkin puree proved to be a true delight. To finish, the house dessert confirmed that the saying "dulcis" is not far from the truth. The white nectar helped the dishes absorb properly. The service was courteous and polite, and the bill was fair. We'll return.

12/10/2025: I celebrated my graduation party here. Besides the delicious food, the thing that makes the difference are the people who work there. Maurizio is a wonderful man, and all the people who work there are cheerful, helpful, and kind. A beautiful atmosphere. Thank you, thank you, thank you ❤️

11/10/2025: Hidden place, if we weren't told about it we would missed it for sure. we had 4 different type of sauce, and everybody liked it. only downsize is you need to go back to eat at the Piazza, as there are no places to sit, but it's not a reason to skip the place !

08/10/2025: Carbonara that looked like a gricia (since it was white and you couldn't feel or see the egg) and pistachio tiramisu that didn't taste like pistachio, much better than the normal one

09/10/2025: We went this evening after a long wandering around Rome. The incredibly friendly service and sublime food delighted us and made a great end to a day that had started badly. 5 stars are not enough, go and try it, it's worth it.

27/10/2025: What a great experience at Ristorante Tullio! My husband and I had a reservation for dinner (which you need or you most likely won't get a table). The atmosphere felt like we were in someone's home for a family meal. Our waiter, and all the the waiters were professional and friendly. The food was incredible. For starter, we had the baked artichoke in olive oil and it was delicious. Then we had pasta which was cooked Al dente, as it is supposed to be cooked. My husband had pasta with tomato sauce with basil and I had the cacio e pepe. Both were fresh and tasted fantastic. The price was reasonable for a nicer restaurant. Thank you to everyone at Tullios for making our dining experience a 5-star one

05/10/2025: Recommended by a friend who's also Ligurian, I wanted to try this Osteria during my stay in Rome. It's a very well-maintained restaurant, with indoor and outdoor seating, fast service, and very friendly staff. Naturally, I tried typical Roman dishes, such as carbonara (short pasta, perfectly al dente and a thick cream), coratella (just the right amount and beautifully plated), and finished with an excellent tiramisu, all accompanied by a good house red wine, served by the bottle. I'll definitely be back, very happy to.

23/09/2025: I visited this restaurant after a long trip around Europe, wanting to try something different. The staff were very kind and the meat dish they recommended (sorry, I can't remember the name) was delicious. I also liked that they let me taste the wine before ordering!

30/09/2025: We just walked by looking for dinner. It was excellent. Best meal so far after 3 days in Rome. Not only was food great but the atmosphere made us feel like locals.

25/09/2025: This small restaurant, located not far from St. Peter’s Basilica, is a great spot for lunch or dinner at very reasonable prices, with generous portions. I particularly recommend the carbonara and the pasta al pesto. Since the place is quite small and often busy, it’s best to book in advance. Service can be a little slow due to the high demand, but the atmosphere is warm and pleasant.
