Trattoria San Gennaro In Praiano

Very fresh products, well cooked, plentiful, a guarantee, for 30 years it has never disappointed me, well done

Very disappointing experience. Arrived 3/4 hour before the end of service for our first dinner on December 30 on the Amalfi Coast. Only two customers were present and we had to face the forced smile of a waitress visibly in a hurry to clear the table when we had just swallowed the last mouthful and brought us the bill without asking if we were we going to get something else or if we were satisfied or not. In the evening at this season, we certainly couldn't enjoy a beautiful view and we sat inside to eat very...ordinary...pasta and pizza... Fortunately the next day we had the chance to open the door of a brand new restaurant in Praiano, very welcoming called Km0, which although full allowed us to taste tasty pasta dishes (with octopus for one and peach from day for the other)!

Very nice family run restaurant. My husband and I ate outside with a lovely view over the square and church the first time, and inside the second. On both occasions he had the lasagne - homemade and very good, and I had the spaghetti aglio e olio which was excellent. The portions are very large, and as our appetites are not quite what they used to be, smaller portions would not be a bad idea. We enjoyed our dinners with a bottle of local wine from Ravello, cappucino's and a complimentary limoncella after dinner. Recommend.

On our first evening in Praiano, my friends and I chose to eat dinner at Trattoria San Gennaro. We had Scialatielli w/ clams & mushrooms, Margherita pizza, homemade lemon delight and limoncello 🍋 Food was amazing, service was spot-on.. Delicious food, prompt and amiable service, nice local touch in the interior and great views over a cathedral and Positano. Highly recommended!

Portion sizes are huge and very generous pours for wine. We tried the lasagna and margarita pizza. We were happy with both. Service was great and the food came out fast.

Fantástico!! The food is delicious, and the service and atmosphere were awesome. We ate here several times during our stay and it was always great. We had their pizza, pasta with shrimp & zucchini, lasagna, and chicken milanese. Do yourself a favor and make sure you stop by.

Locale carino con tavoli in bella vista sulla costiera e la piazza San Gennaro...cibo buono anzi di più e molto abbondanti personale gentile e veloce. Locale munito anche di parcheggio! Consigliatissimo anche per prezzi! Ci ritornerò!
