This place was phenomenal. Every single detail was perfect - the setting, the food, the wine and the service. We were thoroughly impressed with everything. Albino is extremely knowledgeable and selected an outstanding wine and Serena's dishes were divine. Thoroughly recommend!

On Tuesday, October 7, 2025, a bright, full-moon evening, we were guests at the Ristorante "baglio." For starters, we enjoyed a freshly caught scampi tartare on crisp, aromatic leaf salad and a portion of flavorful eggplant cubes with tomatoes and Parmesan. For the main course, we had freshly caught lobster with tagliatelle, and for dessert, we chose a lemon cake drenched in fine limoncello. Everything was masterfully and tastefully prepared by Serena in the kitchen and served by her husband, a competent and caring host. All this in the unique ambiance of the terrace with a panoramic view of the sea.

My boyfriend and I were looking for food recommendations in Amalfi and stumbled across this restaurant. A lot of reviews named it as the top recommendation, and after dining here, we could see why. The atmosphere is incredibly intimate, perfect for date nights or special occasions. The food was absolutely perfect, it came out hot and fresh, and tasted incredible. For starters we split the bruschetta and the amberjack tartare. For our mains, I got the blue lobster linguine and my boyfriend got the ravioli amalfitana. And for dessert, I got the tiramisu and he got the chocolate lava cake. The chef and her husband clearly love this restaurant, it is evident as soon as you walk in the door. If we ever find ourselves in Amalfi again we will be back 💖 -callysta and henry

This is the best restaurant my husband and I have ever been to. The best food we have ever eaten, with the best view in the world, with the nicest people you could ever imagine! Serena, the chef, and Albino, her husband, which is in the dinning room, have really created a special and amazing restaurant. They made every second memorable, and made us feel like home. Not just home, but extended family members! We came here our first night, and came back the rest of the week, because we knew going anywhere else would be disappointing. We are so thankful to Serena and Albino. We highly recommend! Grazie mille!

What an amazing restaurant! The food is absolutely delicious – authentic Italian flavors just as you’d hope to find in Amalfi. 🍝🍷 The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and the staff are super friendly. And the view… simply breathtaking! 🌊🌅 Highly recommended, we’ll definitely be back.

A corner of paradise on the Amalfi Coast. A charming restaurant, directly overlooking the sea, with an intimate terrace offering breathtaking views. The limited number of tables creates a private, quiet, and romantic atmosphere, far from the hustle and bustle and perfect for a relaxed dinner. The cuisine, focusing on fresh fish and more, offers simple yet refined dishes, showcasing the quality of the ingredients without embellishment. Everything is truly delicious. A special thanks to the owner, a person of rare kindness and hospitality, who made the evening even more enjoyable. A memorable experience, which we highly recommend.

This was our first time visiting Italy, and Conca dei Marini was the third and final stop on our trip. This restaurant was by far the best meal we had on the Amalfi Coast — and one of the best meals of our entire trip. The atmosphere and ambiance were absolutely perfect: serene, cozy, with beautiful place settings and stunning views. The owners truly make this place special with their warm hospitality, attentive service, and incredible food. Every dish was delicious, and the whole experience felt memorable and authentic. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone staying near Amalfi.

Definitely the best food we had on the entire Amalfi coast! HIGHLY recommend this restaurant. It’s about a 10 minute drive from Amalfi and walking distance from the hotels in Conca dei Marini. If you take the bus from Amalfi, stop at the Il Saraceno stop and a short walk. We had the ravioli with burrata and pesto and the black pepper ravioli, and they were absolutely delicious. The food looked and smelled so good I forgot to take pictures. The white wine recommend by the staff and aperol spritz were fantastic as well. They have a gorgeous balcony with an amazing view. The apps run €10-20 and the main plates and pastas run €20-40. I’ve included a picture of the restaurant viewed from the water.

It was a wonderful experience, and I'll definitely repeat it. The room is tastefully decorated down to the last detail, from the glass tables to the ultra-comfortable armchairs to the soft, atmospheric lamps. The terrace overlooking the sea is enchanting and offers a unique and exclusive view of the entire coast. Every dish was expertly prepared, from the appetizers to the chocolate-filled tart. The pistachio ravioli are excellent. The wine cellar is exceptionally well-stocked. A venue that perfectly evokes quiet luxury thanks to its intimate, warm, and welcoming atmosphere.

Gelateria Cioffi 1955

02/05/2026: A must-see in Salerno I entered Gelateria Cioffi 1955 (affectionately known to many in the area as "Coffi"), and I immediately understood why it's been an institution since 1955. The place is clean, the staff is smiling and incredibly fast, even with the after-dinner line, and the smell of freshly made waffles wafts in the air. The counter is a marvel: velvety creams, toasted hazelnuts that truly taste like hazelnuts, real pistachios, and a variety of bright and natural fruit flavors. But what won me over is the attention paid to those with intolerances. I'm lactose intolerant, and here I don't feel like a second-class guest. They have several clearly labeled lactose-free flavors, made with wholesome ingredients, and—very rarely—they're also gluten-free, with no risk of cross-contamination. They also offer a 100% plant-based soy cone, light and crunchy, which doesn't crumble after a couple of licks and doesn't overwhelm the flavor of the gelato. I had the lactose-free strawberry and lactose-free hazelnut cream in the soy cone: perfect balance, fresh, creamy, and very digestible. Cream is free and plentiful for those who want it, and the price is very fair (€6.00 ​​for two medium cones) for the artisanal quality you get. Cioffi manages to combine tradition and innovation, without ever losing that "old-fashioned" gelato flavor. I'll be back every time I pass through Salerno, and I recommend it to everyone, especially those looking for an inclusive yet truly delicious gelato.

Pizzeria 'O Sarracin

02/05/2026: After about a year, I regretfully have to change my review. I've almost always had my pizza here, but lately I feel the pizzeria has changed. The pizza, while excellent (certainly among the best in the province), I find it a bit too oily. The seasonal version, always with a double consistency, is a bit predictable in my opinion. Overall, it's not to my taste, but it's fair to say (this didn't affect the review; it's a separate note). The atmosphere is a bit chaotic and noisy; often, between the noise and loud music, it's difficult to even hear the other person at the table. Table service remains fairly quick, attentive, and courteous despite the busy schedule. The main factor contributing to the negative review is poor communication regarding reservations, as I twice found myself having to pay for parking and then not finding a spot. On Saturdays, reservations are available at 8:00 PM and 9:30 PM. This, anywhere in the world, should mean that there are a limited number of free tables available for seating at 8:00 PM sharp or with a 10-minute grace period; instead, it apparently means that you have to book at 8:00 PM if you want to eat at 8:30 PM, to the detriment of those who, wanting to eat between 8:30 and 9:00 PM, sign up at 8:20 PM, perhaps expecting a 30 or 40-minute wait, but instead end up with a two-hour wait, because at 8:30 PM they're still taking 8:00 PM reservations.
02/05/2026: I went with my family to celebrate my birthday in a casual setting, and this is a pizzeria with a welcoming, well-kept atmosphere, perfect for both dinner and a quiet evening with friends. The pizza is simply excellent! The dough is well-leavened, light and easy to digest, with quality ingredients. The fried foods are excellent, tasty, with a crispy and harmonious breading. The staff is kind, attentive, and smiling, and the service is excellent without being intrusive. There was no wait; everything was perfect, based on the time each table needed, even though the place was busy on a Wednesday. Excellent value for money; in short, it's a place to choose without any worries about wait times or prices. A place to return to! Highly recommended. Thanks, Angioletto
