11/07/2025: I'm booking for the first time, knowing nothing about the place. I enter with considerable curiosity, hoping to get to know its soul, which is the first thing that matters to me. Pasquale meets us and directs us to our table; I'm still curious to see the atmosphere. Once we're seated, Pasquale brings us the menus, which are the first surprise: the prices are very reasonable. The second surprise is the generously sized and delicious dishes. Finally, we strengthen our relationship with the manager and Pasquale, who put us at ease not because of a strategy with the customer, but because of a well-established naturalness. In short, we're about to leave with regret; it would have been our favorite place for our entire stay. We won't soon forget it. Thank you.

26/08/2025: Lovely restaurant! Lovely staff - really welcoming & kind, lovely atmosphere and fantastic food. We came here almost daily, tried many different dishes and they were all consistently delicious and high in quality. Amazing ice creams too! Highly recommend!

28/08/2025: We arrived at 10:00 PM and as soon as we sat down, they told us the pizzas were already sold out. A bit strange for a pizzeria at that hour, especially since we'd been watching pizzas coming out of the kitchen... around 11:00 PM, they actually stopped making any. When we asked for an explanation, the waiter gave us a valid reason. We had appetizers (pasta frittatas and mozzarella in carrozza), which were really good. For our first course, the Cilento fusilli with zucchini flowers and pancetta: well-presented but nothing memorable; I expected a little more. The location is very nice and the staff is friendly. The price was fair: about €25 per person for an appetizer, first course, and drinks. It's a shame we didn't try the pizza, which was the main reason we were there. I'll be back to give it a second chance and hope to upgrade the rating with a few more stars!

24/08/2025: If you're looking for a special place in the heart of Cilento, this is the restaurant for you. Located in a charming village, it offers a very quiet and relaxing atmosphere, ideal for enjoying a cool evening outdoors, especially in the scorching summer heat. I was very pleased with the meat I ordered: tasty and cooked to perfection. The service was impeccable, and the staff was friendly and attentive. I can't wait to return to try the pizzas and other dishes, which, judging by their appearance, must be exceptional!

09/07/2025: The place is a bit dark and quite noisy. We sat outside, but it wasn't very well lit. On the plus side, there's a wide selection of pizzas, both classic and with different cooking methods (for example, the "crunch" pizza, which is crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, as well as the "normal" Neapolitan pizza). For six people, we spent €83. Service wasn't the fastest, but it was very prompt. It's also a great place for birthday parties and large celebrations. There's a large outdoor terrace. We called last-minute and they found us a table right away, so we were happy. The vegetarian pizza is highly recommended: plain and with delicious vegetables!

05/07/2025: I went with my family to this restaurant for the first time and I ate a very good pizza margherita with buffalo mozzarella. The environment is welcoming and the waiters are helpful. In addition to pizza they also have first courses and many other types of pizza. Recommended

21/08/2025: This isn't my first time at Il Rusticone, a restaurant/pizzeria. My experience has always been positive. Besides the excellent food, they make delicious pizza, and they also host music events. I highly recommend going there, you won't regret it. The staff and manager are always humble and kind, truly wonderful people.

25/08/2025: I must have been unlucky! An evening with 12 friends. The appetizer consisted of the usual morsels (I don't think it was buffalo mozzarella or mixed) and cured meats, accompanied (never seen in my life in an appetizer) by a hard-boiled Easter egg (it's August) and peas in a small pan. Then the heifer arrived, about 3kg, nice-looking, mature, and flavorless, accompanied by 8 portions of potatoes when we had actually ordered 5. On the other hand, the bill was steep. Simple location, friendly staff.

24/08/2025: I had dinner with friends at this restaurant and I must admit that I was impressed by the many positive reviews, but my expectations were substantially disappointed. Let's start with the appetizer, which consisted of the usual cured meats and morsels—good ones, but found everywhere—and also included a hard-boiled egg. Next, the heifer was served on lava stone, which was tough and flavorless. The aubergines and chicken were good. Finally, anyone who thinks that going out of town to a trattoria is convenient is mistaken, because the prices are normal and in line with any restaurant of the same type.

30/07/2025: High-quality dishes, excellent wines, knowledgeable yet spontaneous staff, welcoming, friendly, and thoughtful. The location is enchanting. It's hard to find a place of equal caliber and such pleasantness. Highly recommended, this is our fifth time there.

10/07/2025: I got a very mixed experience from this place on two visits of mine… after the first one I was not happy at all but the second one made up that’s why 4 stars.. for the dinner that we did as family at the place, biggest issue was the service, either they are understaffed or whatever but no one came to keep the basics on table, no breads and the food took long time, after that once we were mid way I tried to order another dish but the server never came, after calling three times, when they said they will come and then didn’t, I gave up and asked for cheque and that is when I asked about bread they said they forgot!! So got me bread AFTER the meal was done :-( also the food was very average. We still went there for the second time but this time I did a take away lunch and the chef was very kind and prepared the vegetarian pizza and pasta for us and nicely wrapped and gave it to us. Both the pizza and pesto pasta were very nice and specially the gesture of the chef.. that’s is why I bumped the rating from 3 to 4 here.
