We went for dinner while visiting the historic center of Castelcivita.
The service was excellent, as was the food.
It was clear that it was prepared with fresh, high-quality ingredients.
If we visit the area again, we would definitely return, but we would try to go for lunch so we could enjoy the views of the surrounding landscape.
16/01/2026: Returned after a couple of years, the quality is still the same, exceptional, as I found it some time ago. The owner is super helpful and kind, and the dishes are traditional. The local wine is superb, and the ragù is amazing. See you soon, guys!

The beauty is in the location: large tables outside and pizza baskets.
A stroll up to the castle completes the evening.

18/04/2026: Genuinely the best pizza I have ever had. I mourn not being able to come to this restaurant whenever I think about pizza. That is how good it is. We went there every evening for the 4 days we were in Maiori. Staff are wonderful, food is delicious, and the atmosphere is amazing. Please visit this restaurant if you have the chance!
17/04/2026: Maybe I got the wrong one because the reviews are good, but if I weren't hungry, I would probably leave it - spaghetti carbonara.

26/04/2026: Palazzo Avino is an enchanting place, where the beauty of the location blends perfectly with exquisite cuisine.
However, what truly made our stay memorable was the kindness of the staff. A special mention goes to Marinella, who looked after us with extreme care throughout the lunch. In particular, we thank her from the bottom of our hearts for the support and sensitivity she showed when my fiancée was slightly ill; her presence was essential in managing an unpleasant episode with discretion and professionalism.
We will definitely return to this corner of paradise. Highly recommended!

22/11/2025: Tonight we celebrated our 18th birthday. Perfect party, excellent food. Great fun with the super speaker Lino. I also wanted to thank the restaurant manager, a wonderful person and very attentive to everything. We went there on Friday evening for dinner. The cuisine was refined and satisfying, both for the palate and the budget.

They were able to accommodate us inside without reservation ( I’m sure outside was great, but we took it since we were very hungry) great wine and the pizza was absolutely delicious ! I got the Napoli and my partner got the Diavola! Great to re charge some energy. The location is great, the town it’s a little confusing but that was the first route we took and that was the only restaurant on the way. Great choice!

The restaurant is beautifully decorated, clean, and intimate.
The welcome was warm and professional, never intrusive despite only a few tables being occupied for lunch.
We found exactly the cuisine we were looking for: fresh, well-prepared fish with original flavors.
The appetizer of scampi, broccoli rabe, and buffalo yogurt is an explosion of flavors you should try at least once in your life; the grilled octopus, chicken, and potatoes (yes, you read that right!) is exquisite and well-balanced.
I found the bill and menu prices in line with the quality and selection of products.
We'll definitely be back!

The welcome was truly superb; we felt pampered from start to finish. The wine list also deserves special mention, absolutely worthy of the cuisine. A place we'll definitely return to!

was great and we got ricotta-stuffed pumpkin flower as a starter on the house as well as limoncello with the bill. Would recommend for dinner if you are staying in Scala, the staff was very kind and attentive.
