Al Convento In Cetara

A journey through the flavors of Cetara, between history and taste Dining at Al Convento is a magical experience. The interior dining room, created from the ancient cloister, offers an authentic, fresh, and intimate atmosphere. The anchovies are superb in every sauce, a true celebration of the local area. Honorable mention goes to the squid ragù: flavorful, expertly cooked, truly exceptional. The bill was absolutely fair and consistent with the exceptional quality of the ingredients. An absolute must-try in Cetara.

Amazing experience, pleasant atmosphere, great service. A beautiful selection of fish. We went to eat the delicious anchovy spaghetti, truly unique, but the rest of the menu features really interesting fresh fish and we were eager to try more. The tiramisu is exceptional, an unforgettable creamy and flavorful dessert. I highly recommend it.

The first course was poor, but the second course was good. The first course in question was spaghetti with clams. The spaghetti was overcooked and the clams were cold, and they definitely didn't mix well.

A refined and elegant restaurant in the heart of Cetara, for a truly excellent seafood dinner. For my first course, I ordered linguine with shrimp, truly impeccable. The freshness of the fish was undeniable, and the execution was flawless. For my second course, the waiter offered me freshly caught turbot, which looked and tasted excellent. Baked with potatoes and cherry tomatoes, the fish was flavorful and had a wonderful texture. Unfortunately, I have to give the service 4 stars because I found numerous bones in my fish, but despite this, I found the waiters courteous and knowledgeable. The only other negative was the bill: it was a bit salty, even though quality ingredients certainly come at a high price. Furthermore, the prices for items outside the menu were not properly marked. Overall, the experience was absolutely positive, and I would happily return.
