Salvatore Avallone offers essential cuisine, a perfect combination of apparent simplicity and innovation, with some "oriental" touches wisely placed, which never distort the flavor of the ingredients, but rather enhance them. Summarized in a comment by Federica, precise and prepared Maitre Sommelier of Cetara: "We present what we know how to do". There are two tasting menus available, basically seafood and meat, which vary by season, both very interesting (so a second visit is almost "obligatory"). Extensive wine list, with ample space for local and Italian wines in general, and with a good number of foreign wines. Few tables in the room, good separation and intimate environment: the furniture and tableware are commendable. Prices in line with a starred restaurant. Although it does not have a private parking, it is not difficult to find a place in the area if you arrive by car. An absolutely recommended restaurant, which is also worth a detour to visit.

11/05/2025: Si parla spesso di qualità del cibo, ma troppo spesso si danno per scontate le cose ancora più importanti : educazione , cortesia e mettere a proprio agio gli ospiti …. E’ il caso di ieri sera : io e mia sorella , selezioniamo questo ristorante per festeggiare il compleanno di mia madre . Purtroppo mia sorella a causa di coliche avute pochi minuti prima di arrivare non ci ha potuto raggiungere sperando fino alla fine di farcela . Entriamo e la persona che ci ha accolti , con fare saccente e arrogante subito ci redarguisce perché ci eravamo presentati in 2 e non in 3 senza avvisare prima . Poi ci fa pesare che non stavamo sceglievamo il menù degustazione e che ci faceva una cortesia a farci mangiare alla carta ( imponendo un minimo di 2 pietanze principali ) . Ci ha quasi “ lanciato “ 1 solo iPad per due ospiti ( le ho chiesto anche per accelerare i tempi se potevamo averne due di menu ‘ … ci ribadiva che era già tanto che ci faceva mangiare a là carte e quindi ho dovuto attendere che uno lo leggesse e scegliesse poi ho potuto farlo io … finita la polemica del menu degustazione , ha poi ha ripreso quella sul fatto che eravamo andanti in due e non in 3 fino a che , le ho fatto notare il modo in cui ci stava trattando da quando eravamo entrati e , data la scarsa accoglienza e la pesantissima atmosfera creata dalla ragazza di sala, abbiamo deciso di alzarci e andare via senza neppure cenare … la persona di Sala era riuscita a rovinarci il compleanno di mia madre a causa della insostenibile atmosfera di acidità arroganza e prosopopea da lei creata …

19/05/2025: Siamo capitati per caso , leggendo le recensioni l’abbiamo scelto! Tutto veritiero !Pulizia al top , ordine, Tutto cucinato al momento,ambia scelta di carne di prima qualità! Contorni semplici ma di sapore avvolgente! Senza parlare della Padrone di casa Gentilissima,Ospitale , dolce ,professionale e veloce! In sintesi locale al Top che rispecchia alla grande i giovani e freschi Titolar!! Da ritornare assolutamente!!

07/06/2025: Siamo stati in questo locale per una cena in famiglia... Locale molto curato ed accogliente, in stile industrial! Personale molto gentile ed attento ai clienti, in particolare il proprietario Simone è stato estremamente paziente coi nostri bimbi ed allo stesso tempo professionale e ha saputo ben illustrare le proposte del suo locale! I tempi non sono stati eccessivi come ho letto in tante recensioni, nonostante fosse sabato sera, il locale fosse affollato e soprattutto siamo arrivati con 10 Minuti di ritardo! Nessuno ci ha portato fretta, come purtroppo invece capita in tantissimi locali di questo genere... Passiamo ai prodotti: impasto leggero e digeribile, che coniugato all'attento abbinamento di ingredienti di qualità fa sì che le pizze siano veramente di altissimo livello e lo dice uno che ha provato le migliori pizzerie al mondo e posso affermare che questa non ha nulla da invidiare!!! Ottima proposta delle birre, anch'esse di qualità! Eccezionali anche i dolci, che risultano di ottima qualità e manifattura, abbondanti e non cari rispetto a tanti altri locali dello stesso genere!!! Prezzi giusti in relazione alla qualità ed il servizio offerto, la qualità dei prodotti si paga, è indiscutibile e chi si lamenta non riconosce il sacrificio per arrivare a quel livello! Ci torneremo senza dubbio! Obiettivamente un livello eccellente!!!

15/05/2025: During our trip we stopped at Mercato San Severino and bought our take-away dinner here: a delicious panuozzo nr. 26: buffalo mozzarella, yellow datterino, bacon km0, €12.00 cheese, pepper and some eggplant meatballs. When we got home a few minutes later we discovered truly unmissable goodness and quality.

30/06/2025: Dining at Osteria dei Sapori is like having an experience at home. The food recalls traditional flavors and the management is very familiar. I would give only one piece of advice, if you can change the music it would be better. Popular music is fine, but at least choose the classics.

29/06/2025: Had a nice dinner of stuffed calamari, prawn pasta and mussels pasta. The outdoor seating made for a good atmosphere and the alley sheltered you from the sun so it wasn’t too hot. A bit more expensive than other places in the area for what we got but the food was delicious and service quite good.

31/05/2025: High prices and very low quality raw materials, I think the tomato puree is the cheapest on the market, it tastes like everything except tomato, mozzarella cut into mush, dough not cooked evenly, let's draw a veil over the special pizzas, very expensive and with very few ingredients on top... In a single one there were only two half slices of bacon which put together became a single slice.

29/05/2025: I don't recommend very high prices and a coke 6€ I ordered it arrived after at least 1 hour and 15 minutes I arrived at 7 and left at 11 I asked for peanuts and they didn't arrive and they asked me for them even after the sandwich don't go I don't recommend broken plates a friend of mine was choking because the meat was almost raw place don't invite I don't recommend😡😡

02/07/2025: We were in this trattoria last night, very familiar, quiet!! It was a weekday, so it was a quiet day anyway!! But we were welcomed by a girl, smiling, sunny, very kind!!! Excellent food, very simple, tasty, especially the meat that I recommend you try!!! Very affordable prices!! The place is very country, very in line with the idea of ​​a trattoria!!! I recommend it!!! And then I was won over by the beautiful smile and sweetness, on the part of the girl, which for me wins over everything!!! 30/06/2025: We went to this place for dinner, reservations are recommended. We had a mixed appetizer of cold cuts, vegetables and some cheese, and meat. All very abundant. The meat is excellent and is served on the grill so that you can manage the cooking yourself. Honest price, excellent quality and the waitress is very good. On a negative note, I expected more choice in the first courses.
