Beautiful place, it's in Matera, you'll find it walking along Via Buozzi. The only downside was that I got a table in the sun and it was a bit strong, but it's a highly recommended spot.

A great place - the tables fill up immediately - if we hadn't made a reservation, we wouldn't have had a seat. I recommend making a reservation, especially since we were there before the season. Delicious food, great service, and a unique atmosphere.

Just superb!! We were so lucky to get a table without reservation. All the staff were so friendly and helpful and made time to chat even though they were busy. All the dishes we chose were delicious...the fava bean starter, pasta with cime di rapa and the pork roll special, all fresh and copious portions. We were very happy that we ate here! Highly recommended 👌

We booked Easter dinner at Trattoria da Caveoso, in the heart of Sasso Caveoso, and I have to say it was a truly wonderful experience. As soon as we arrived, we were seated, and the staff serving us were truly top-notch: kind, professional, and attentive throughout the entire service. The food was also excellent. We're talking about a restaurant with multiple shifts and a lot of tourists, but I can assure you the menu isn't touristy at all. The ingredients are high-quality, and the dishes are truly meticulously crafted. We ate wonderfully, from appetizers to dessert; everything was truly delicious. Kudos to the entire staff; keep up the good work!

05/11/2025: Like everything in Matera, the best thing about it is the atmosphere, which is fantastic. The locally sourced beef was cooked to perfection and tasted good, but it was quite fibrous. The selection of meats and cheeses is worthwhile. The sausage with potatoes is a kind of chorizo ​​criollo, but with an anise-flavored spice that overpowers the meat's flavor. The formaggie cheese was very good. As I said, the best thing about it all was the atmosphere.
02/11/2025: A pleasant lunch break at Osteria L’Arco. We opted for a simple meal of pasta. The “Troccoli con baccalà alla materana,” a regional specialty, was particularly enjoyable. Troccoli, typical of Puglia, are thick, slightly square pasta, perfect for holding sauce. Here, they were served with flavorful baccalà and a rich, tangy sauce. The service was attentive and the setting charming, especially on the terrace overlooking the narrow streets of Matera.
