I Sapori Senza Glutine In Matera

I think the anecdote relating to our first booking is sufficient: "Good evening, I would like to book for two and I would like to point out that my wife has celiac disease." Answer: "She too!" I counter: "No, not me; just my wife." "No, her too! - he repeats - because we only serve gluten-free dishes". The pleasant exchange was the beginning of a series of two dinners where we both explored the entire proposed menu, excluding the pizzas. From the quality and goodness of the dishes tasted I have reason to assume that the pizzas must also be excellent. Another favorable detail is the habit of changing the menu every 3/4 months to adapt it to the seasonality of local products. Finally, the wine list, as limited as the menu in its choices, offers excellent locally produced wines, among which stands out a "Lacrime di Orazio", an Aglianico del Vulture surprisingly vinified in white, with excellent structure and complexity of aromas to be accompanied without disappoint both first and second courses of meat. Are there more effective ways to encourage them to return (perhaps in a more clement season than this torrid summer)?

Totally okay food but not more than that. Friendly staff. Not very cozy decor and atmosphere.

We had a really great time at this gluten free restaurant. Fantastic to enjoy a full meal without worrying about gluten from start to finish. We had appetisers, primi and secondi and washed it down with some wine. The owner checked on us regularly and we were very happy with the food. The only thing I'd change is I am not a big fan of musical theatre as background music but it wasn't super loud or imposing.

Incredible gluten free food. We had an antipasti, pizza, pasta and dessert, and they were all excellent. My non-coeliac cousin enjoyed the food as much as I did.

I ate in this gluten free restaurant in Matera, I recommend it to all celiacs. The bruschetta is excellent. The pizza as well. Very welcoming environment and staff

We went in on the recommendation of a friend and were delighted with what we found. I don't have celiac disease and neither do my friends. I thought I would find everything different than usual, but honestly I only found positive differences. Bread with rosemary butter - wonderful, baked olives excellent. Excellent pizza, warm environment (it was cold...) Soft music, very kind and discreet staff, never intrusive. If you come to Matera don't avoid it! Thanks for a wonderful evening!

Pur non essendo celiaci , né intolleranti al lattosio abbiamo voluto provare questi sapori. Abbiamo assaggiato i formaggi locali , la pizza e il primo con crema di pistacchio. Il mio voto alla cucina è 10. Assolutamente lo consiglio. I dolci superlativi ,hanno un sapore leggero e delicato!
