17/08/2024: Very bad. On August 15th I had lunch in this place and I wonder if what I received was really worth what I paid. For two people, eating frozen fish I paid 142 euros. The next day I learned from Il Sole 24 Ore that the restaurateurs of Potenza declare an income that is the lowest in Italy. I wonder, does the Finance proceed to verify these "crafty people", or does it turn the other way so as not to disturb the operator?

17/08/2024: The setting is a modern art museum where you can spend pleasant hours admiring the paintings on display. Professional and friendly staff ready to satisfy any desire even when the place is full. The food is not only quality but well cooked and plated. Excellent value for money.

19/08/2024: Place immersed in the suggestive atmosphere of Matera. Impeccable customer service, staff always attentive to respond to any customer need. Good food but not excellent; poor menu with no alternatives. Fair price based on the quantity and quality of the food.

21/08/2024: Enchanting location, surrounded by greenery and silence, far from any urban contamination, a true oasis of peace and relaxation. The rooms are simple, good family-run farmhouse style. There are large spaces for children. We stayed one night on half board, dinner was a succession of local flavors and homemade delicacies, excellent wine, as were the breakfast desserts. Mr. Edoardo, like all Lucanians, is very helpful and friendly and carefully explains the dishes and the various anecdotes of the place. We felt at home. Thanks for the nice experience. 07/08/2024: A real shame to have gone back in time and found a terrible experience. The terrible service, they don't take the order well, they take a long time to bring the food. And although the quality of the products is noticeable, there is a great decrease in protein and an increase in the quantity of rice. The prices do not justify the product at all, the only redeeming feature is the atmosphere because the place is quite pleasant and modern. A shame, but I don't recommend it.

Really balanced value for money... If I were to return, I will definitely stop again!!! P.s. try the scialatelli with burrata pumpkin cream and crispy capocollo!! 😉

29/08/2024: Decent appetizers, first courses not up to expectations, too long wait motivated by the preparation of homemade pasta. The flavors of the first course of anchovies did not combine with each other. The ricotta in the ravioli is too hard and grainy.

On these two aspects, I must admit that expectations were fully met. The staff was extremely attentive and courteous, demonstrating rare professionalism. Each of our requests was handled with care and discretion, making the service one of the highlights of the evening. The restaurant environment is quiet and pleasantly refined, with elegant decor and background music that encourages conversation. Unfortunately, however, the sore point of our experience was the food. Expectations were high, but the dishes failed to meet them. The courses arrived well presented, but the flavors were rather disappointing. Despite the care taken in preparation, the taste did not live up to what was promised. In summary, a place that deserves attention for its customer care and welcoming environment, but which should review the quality of the food to offer a complete and satisfying experience.

24/08/2024: Oggi sono stata in questo ristorante, davvero carino e delizioso per pranzo con amici in una località suggestiva di oppido, nel cuore del paese, molto suggestivo, il cibo ottimo,l'accoglienza spettacolare del proprietario, lo consiglio se volete vivere un'esperienza unica nel suo genere.

15/08/2024: What about Carleo? A confirmation. Tasting menu with satisfactory portions, research and attention to raw materials, balance of flavours, beauty of the dishes. The combinations with wine are accurate and delicate. Courteous service and very polite staff, accustomed to handling even slightly "edgy" customers with courtesy and professionalism. A lunch that was an experience in taste. Worth trying for those who haven't been there yet.

11/07/2024: Il ristorante offre un ambiente curato ed elegante, con la possibilità di cenare in un incantevole giardino che contribuisce a creare un’atmosfera piacevole e rilassante. Durante la mia visita, ho avuto il piacere di assaporare piatti squisiti come il risotto allo zafferano con stracciatella e gambero rosso, e gli spaghetti con vongole e bottarga arricchiti da prezzemolo cristallizzato. La cucina, orientata alla degustazione e gourmet, è stata impeccabile. Il servizio è stato eccellente, con personale qualificato, gentile ed educato. Consigliatissimo!

17/06/2024: Excellent restaurant in the center of Potenza. The restaurant is tastefully renovated, inside a historic stone building, but modernized and made more attractive. Excellent food and great attention also for cuisine for celiacs. Good prices. The pizza is also excellent. Super recommended!
