From the very first moment, I found the service impeccable: the staff and owners are fantastic, friendly, helpful, and welcoming, making you feel truly at home. The food is simply exceptional: carefully prepared, authentic, and flavorful. Every meal was a memorable experience! The rooms are beautiful, with attention to every detail, spotlessly clean, and very warm. I absolutely recommend this place to anyone looking to unwind and experience true relaxation. 02/09/2025: For a special occasion, we had lunch at this restaurant on the last Sunday in August. The entire staff welcomed us very warmly. There's convenient parking outside for guests. The interior is entirely made of wood, just as you'd expect from a mountain chalet. The service was impeccable: after we placed our order, despite the crowds, our dishes arrived quickly, and the waiters were friendly and helpful. We ate very well; the dishes were excellently prepared and the food was authentic. A great experience, we'll definitely be back.

16/11/2025: A wonderful experience, accompanied by my dog. The agriturismo is easy to reach, surrounded by greenery among orange, mandarin, and kiwi trees. Standard rooms, super comfortable pillows, spacious bathroom. The room was located away from the main building, which was top-notch, providing a sense of peace. Breakfast and dinner are locally sourced, with everything homemade: fruit, jams, pastries, yogurt, pasta, passata... I highly recommend this agriturismo; I will definitely return.

21/10/2025: We spent a lovely weekend at Pago. The atmosphere is very rustic and decidedly clean, with locally sourced cuisine using top-quality ingredients. We had the opportunity to dine and have breakfast on the property, and what can I say? All the ingredients were excellent, with generous breakfasts featuring yogurt, fruit, nuts, jams, and homemade desserts. Dinner also included a selection of simple and elaborate dishes, all unique and delicious. We also visited their farm several times, where my daughter was entertained by many new animal friends. It's conveniently located between Nova Siri, Rotondella, and Policoro. Definitely an experience worth repeating and highly recommended.

05/11/2025: My mom and I had an incredible experience here. Came here for dinner and we both agreed this was one of our faviourite meals in all of Italy. We started with the plate of Matera cheeses, then had the scallops and the snapper fish (on recommendation from our server). Everything was fantastic. The service was top notch, the food was amazing, the chef even came out to ask how everything was. Don't skip dessert either, it was just as well thought out as our meals! Highly recommend!

The highlight is the chef's skill in harmonizing the ingredients used, all of which are of evident quality and freshness. Kudos to the chef and the entire team, efficient and friendly. Considering the quality, the value for money is also excellent. We'll definitely return and recommend it.

02/11/2025: 🗓️Last ​​weekend in Basilicata, we had dinner at the "Sotto la Torre" restaurant in Satriano di Lucania. 🤵‍♂️The hospitality and skill of the staff, both in serving and explaining the dishes served—all expertly prepared, beautifully presented, and with balanced flavors—made it a pleasant discovery. I think it deserves greater recognition, not only from locals but also from tourists like us. And why not, in my opinion, it also deserves some recognition. 🏆 Here's what we were delighted with. Welcome aperitif: Peperone crusco with ricotta mousse and duck speck. Paired with: Prosecco di Valdobbiadene. And from their bread: Peperone crusco, Sesame white bread, Turmeric and Ferrandina olives, Cuttlefish ink. Cuttlefish egg in a crust of its ink on a potato mousse, stracciatella, Stigliano pistachio, and a dusting of beetroot. Dry-marinated salmon with: Zucchini with mint, passion fruit dressing. Accompanied by: Watermelon sgroppino. Podolica beef tartare with: tuna sauce, almonds, capers, and balsamic vinegar. Slow-cooked egg on a cheese fondue, savory crumble, truffle, and cardoncelli mushrooms from the Lucanian mountains. Saffron Carnaroli rice with: Red shrimp tartare, buffalo mozzarella sauce, raspberry caviar, and parsley powder. Double-cooked octopus on a roasted pepper sauce, purple potato mousse, and sweet and sour Tropea onion. All accompanied by Verbo Bianco, from the cellars of Venosa. 2024 Small pastries with: Melon sphere, Pineapple, Carrot mousse, Creamy ricotta and mango. And to finish, Cheesecake mousse with berries. 🧳 If you're near Satriano di Lucania, you can't miss it. 😋 You won't regret it. 🤩
