They managed every detail with discretion and precision, making us feel pampered throughout the day. We truly lacked for nothing. The venue is stunning, with an elegant and refined atmosphere that provided the perfect backdrop for our wedding. The food was fantastic! All our guests raved about the quality and presentation of the dishes. The raw fish buffet deserves special praise, as it was incredibly fresh and incredibly delicious. We recommend this venue to anyone who wants a dream wedding, where every element, from the venue to the service, to the cuisine, is top-notch. Breakfast is varied, and you can enjoy delicious cakes. The owner and staff were extremely welcoming and kind. We thank the owner, Giuseppe, who put us in touch with local artist Professor Mario Sansone and Mr. Rocco De Rosa, with whom we immersed ourselves in a beautiful journey rich in history, legends, and artistic beauty that demonstrate the creativity and vitality of the place. The location is central for reaching nearby attractions.

Started scrolling and had to stop;too many! 99.9% agreed on delicious, authentic,local, traditional ,organic,home made,friendly,welcoming atmosphere,fairly priced,quick service. I came with my son a true gourmet raised in Japan,where in my opinion food quality standards are pretty high; we both can vow for all the above. Two things left to mention: I enjoyed the red wine very much and when Stefano explained it was also home made,I asked to buy a bottle. There were no bottles but he could fill me a pet bottle. It's been 2 days since I left Basilica and I'm still enjoying their wine with dinner. Grazie mille Stefano and family,keep up the good work and we wish you succes with your restaurant!

28/09/2025: September 2025 Fixed menu... A miserable lunch, a house appetizer and two first courses. The fixed menu cost €25, with no second course, excluding drinks. We had to split the €11 for four second courses, because there wasn't a second course on the fixed menu. I also woke up feeling hungry. Not to mention the service seemed to be doing us a favor. Out of €473, 11 people, not even offering us a free liqueur. Not recommended at all... go somewhere else.

04/10/2025: A great place with a pleasant atmosphere. The service was exceptionally friendly; we felt cared for and pampered. We were treated to local delicacies, and the waitress told us about the region. The food was excellent, and the whole experience left us in a good mood. The staff speaks fluent English.

But I will remember my stay at Casal Dragone first and foremost for meeting, over an excellent lunch, exceptional and kind people like the estate's owners and their friendly friends and collaborators. 11/10/2025: Very elegant restaurant. Very clean rooms. Friendly staff. Superlative food and an excellent wine list. The owner is constantly seeking out the best his region has to offer to satisfy even the most demanding palates. One visit isn't enough to try everything. Definitely recommended.

09/10/2025: Located in a quiet alley in the historic center, behind the main Piazza Vittorio Veneto, this restaurant offers top-quality cuisine based on Lucanian ingredients and products, creating an alchemy of new and original flavors while always respecting local traditions. This is thanks to the owner, chef Francesco Abbondanza, who over the years has refined a gastronomic research that was already remarkable in its early days and has now become superlative. All this in an elegant and minimalist setting that, thanks to the perfect lighting and intimate atmosphere despite its spaciousness and airiness, immediately puts you at ease, thanks also to the professionalism and friendliness of the staff (Daniele is top notch!) and the attentiveness of the host. Excellent wine selection! In short, whether for lunch or dinner, L'Abbondanza Lucana is an experience to be enjoyed and savored. And to be relived again, because while it's unforgettable, you'll be longing to return.
