14/04/2025: Durante la nostra visita a Matera siamo andati a cena in questo ristorante, si trova in un vicolo stretto ma comunque è ben segnalato. Siamo stati ben accolti, consigliati e abbiamo mangiato antipasti, risotto al tartufo e fusilloni al ragù di cortile e dolci, tutto buono. Consigliato.

16/03/2025: Ristorante immerso nei sassi con vista mozzafiato, location accogliente che fa da cornice a piatti rivisitati in chiave moderna. Qualità degli ingredienti, impiattamento nei minimi dettagli. Consiglio menù degustazione con abbinamento vini o bottiglia Consigliato!

06/04/2025: locale tipico situato tra i sassi Carlo e Giovanni due persone molto gentili simpatiche pietanze tipiche cucinate in modo semplice e genuino consiglio di andare a mangiare da loro prezzi onesti e cibo fantastico

28/03/2025: If you want to feel like you're eating in someone's family home in Italy, a cheerful family making and serving great food, you want to come here. We had an experience like this twenty five years ago in Palermo, and it is such a relief from standard restaurant dining. The food feels steeped in tradition, it's hearty and full of strong flavors. There are many vegetarian options, my partner (who is a vegetarian) had an eggplant pasta dish, I had zucchini. While the latter doesn't sound very interesting, it was. There's a menu but it is irrelevant, Giovanna shows you what you can have and you pick it out, right there at the front of the kitchen. Giovanna and Carlo bring it to the table, make sure you like it, pour the wine you ordered, and then you get in with it. The dessert was excellent also, we had the chocolate and pistachio cake and fresh strawberries. So while there are some nice "fancy" restaurants here, this is the one place you have to eat when you are in Matera.

23/04/2025: We had an amazing four course meal here! We are mostly vegetarian and even though the menu mostly incorporates cod as a main ingredient they worked with us to find a variety of dishes we could eat. The service was outstanding and the food was gorgeous. Definitely recommended!!

08/04/2025: We had a wonderful lunch, from the mixed cod starter, from the ravioli to the spaghetti with olives and cod, we also tried the mixed cod both battered and cooked with oil and crusco pepper. Everything was delicious, we were served kindly and paid an acceptable price for what we got. Recommended for those who love cod prepared in any way

16/03/2025: We spent three wonderful days in this farmhouse surrounded by nature. Piera and her entire family welcomed us with kindness and made us feel at home. The children spent the days immersed in nature in contact with wonderful animals, the most appreciated donkeys. They also appreciated the play area dedicated to them, with swings, slides and much more. Salvatore, the chef, delighted us with exquisite dishes made with fresh, local products. The room was comfortable and clean. A relaxing environment for the whole family, a wonderful experience.

13/03/2025: Family-run farm, where you feel at home. Fast and attentive service. High quality of the products used, organic and Km. 0: eggs, vegetables, strawberries, pears, kiwis, oranges... Close to the sea, but immersed in the countryside and with farmyard animals, adored by children. Play area for the little ones and garden to stay in. Impossible not to take home their organic products: oil, sauce, jams and marmalades. Try it!

17/04/2025: La Villa is the restaurant that satisfies me the most in all aspects; taste (excellent), service, cleanliness, details, customer care, quality-price coherence, harmony between kitchen and dining room. Every time it is "an experience", not a lunch, and their passion is palpable!

15/03/2025: For a family lunch we chose Al Baliaggio, although we arrived late we were welcomed very cordially. The experience was a real treat: we started lunch with a sublime entré offered by the house, proceeding with tasty first and second courses of abundant quantities. Every taste was an explosion of taste. Highly recommended!

12/01/2025: I recently visited the agriturismo "Il Crepuscolo" and I was extremely satisfied with the experience. The food was simply excellent; each dish was prepared with fresh and local ingredients, and above all abundant and flavors were authentic and delicious. But what made the visit even more memorable was the kindness of the owner. He is a truly welcoming and helpful person, always ready to satisfy every need and make guests feel at home. I highly recommend "Il Crepuscolo" to anyone looking for an authentic experience. Thanks again, you are special ❤️✨

15/04/2025: Esperienza perfetta in questa osteria con scorcio mozzafiato sui Sassi. Siamo stati accolti con il sorriso dal titolare ma non è mancato nemmeno nella continuazione della serata, dal personale di sala, molto preparato e propositivo. Materie prime eccellenti, ottima carta dei vini.

05/04/2025: I had the most wonderful dining experience at Radino last week. Despite being a "walk-in" with no prior reservation (and zero Italian-speaking skills!), I was warmly welcomed and promptly seated. The service was impeccable - warm, friendly, attentive yet discreet. I particularly enjoyed the tiramisu 'trick' - you will know what this means if you order it! The food and wine were simply divine. And the crowning glory was the lovely tour of the venue given to me - complete with Materan history and societal context. Radino is flawless - you are urged to visit, you will not be disappointed.
