01/02/2026: Carmela is wonderful... I'll start with her, the soul and strength of this corner of exquisite goodness. This agriturismo, close yet so far removed from the banality of Matera's tourist offerings, won us over with the authenticity of the products served on our plates... the tarallini, the oil, the bread, the cruschi, the turnip tops, the exquisite dishes, and the wine (Il Dono)... it's all so inspiring!!

The banquet was exceptional: the food was plentiful, and every dish was absolutely exquisite, a true triumph of authentic flavors. Special thanks go to the staff, who were impeccable, professional, and attentive to every need. To prolong the magic of the event, we also stayed at the property for two nights: the rooms were very comfortable, welcoming, and spotlessly clean. Waking up was made even sweeter by an exceptional breakfast: special thanks to Chef Salvatore, who delighted us every morning with a different cake, not to mention his fantastic homemade plain yogurt... a true delight! We'd like to emphasize that this place is a true paradise not only for events, but for any family day out. It's especially perfect for those with small children, thanks to the beautiful play areas and the many animals that delight the little ones. It's the ideal place for anyone to unwind and spend quality time immersed in nature. A heartfelt thank you to everyone at Agriturismo Il Pago for making our day so special. Highly recommended! 22/12/2025: A quaint and welcoming atmosphere, a warm and pleasant place with Italian music playing in the background. The place is very tidy and clean. The staff is kind and attentive. We enjoyed a bruschetta with crumbled sausage and melted cheese, truly delicious, and an Irish burger with cheddar and bacon, accompanied by crispy fries. To finish, a delicious tiramisu.

The owner is extremely kind and eager to make my stay and the experience of sampling the authentic dishes a pleasant one. The food is excellently prepared and delicious. Whenever I'm in Potenza and want to enjoy delicious dishes at this delightful place, it will be my go-to.

21/11/2025: The waitress, Lorenza, was very kind and explained the food to us. Very good, we decided to try several dishes and I was satisfied with everything! The chicory with fava beans was a really good specialty, as was the main course. I recommend going. It's a shame it's not visible if someone happens to be walking by and doesn't know, but the place is quaint. We ate under the cave, which was lovely.

22/02/2026: To escape the daily grind, we had lunch out. We chose Caluae because it was just passing through our destination. I was struck by the introduction to their menu, which explains the establishment's origins and management—a lovely detail. I found the place to be clean, which is important, with simple yet elegant tablecloths. The service was very attentive and orderly. The choice of dishes: a mixed cured meats appetizer, a sliced ​​steak, a plate of tortelli stuffed with meat and topped with truffle, a side of potatoes preserved in ash with crusco peppers, a delicious mille-feuille pasta with cream and berries, and a red fruit cheesecake. The food was very good; the only flaw was the portions, a bit small. As the sign at the entrance says, BEYOND TRADITION, you can feel the tradition and also understand that a lot of thought goes into what they prepare.

A very charming place among the Sassi... clean and quiet. The atmosphere is lovely. The young man who served us was courteous, kind, and friendly; it was a real pleasure dealing with him. We ordered a local appetizer, a plate of orecchiette, a sliced ​​meat, and a dessert. Everything was excellent and with attention to detail. Prices were completely reasonable. Service was prompt. Quick enough and welcoming. I recommend it and hope to return!
