Antica Trattoria Del Reno In Bologna

While passing through Bologna we had dinner at the Antica Trattoria del Reno. Wide choice of meats, we ate scottona chianina with grilled potatoes and cherry tomatoes and cheesecake for dessert. Everything was excellent, the staff was very friendly and the price was right for the quality. Advised

A fairy tale ! Beautiful, very welcoming and very special staff

What a delightful evening (twice in a month). It's really good to eat here, even if far from the liveliness of the center and far from the peace of the hills. As soon as you enter the restaurant everything is immediately beautiful, you really eat with all your senses: atmosphere, decor, music (classic rock, Creedence, T-Rex... if they ever make the playlist on Spotify I'm ready to follow), the kindness and warmth of the staff in the dining room but above all the skill of the kitchen and the greatness of the quality of the raw materials. The passion of the kitchen can be seen and felt: truly fantastic dishes, super satisfying appetizers and first courses, delicious and "full" of flavors that fill the mouth but in a balanced way (and without weighing it down... so yes, there is space for dessert and liqueur). The wine list varies in taste and price, and the recommendations based on the choices of dishes and personal preferences are greatly appreciated. Targeted advice for both cuisine and drinks, without appearing "arrogant" in skills, does not overwhelm but directs the customer with courtesy and a smile, very approachable. I must say that the human side is important and can be felt here. So be careful to read the entire menu: not just second courses of meat, but lots of choice and imagination in this cuisine. So many dishes to try and all very tasty. I will definitely return, both in company (perhaps a birthday table) and as a couple: the environment is perfect for both occasions, both intimate and with friends. Well done! See you soon

Che goduria di serate (due volte in un mese). Si sta davvero bene qui a mangiare, anche se lontano dal brio del centro e lontano dalla pace dei colli. Appena dentro il ristorante è subito tutto bello, si mangia davvero con tutti i sensi: atmosfera, arredo, musica (classic rock, creedence, T-Rex...se faranno mai la playlist su Spotify sono pronta a seguire), la gentilezza e calore del personale in sala ma soprattutto la bravura della cucina e la grandezza della qualità della materia prima. La passione della cucina si vede e si sente: piatti fantastici davvero, antipasti e primi super appaganti, golosi e "pieni" di sapori che riempiono la bocca ma in maniera equilibrata (e senza appesantire...quindi si che c'è lo spazio per il dolce e liquorino). Carta dei vini varia per gusti e prezzi, molto apprezzato i consigli in base alle scelte dei piatti e alle preferenze personali. Consigli mirati sia per cucina sia per bevande, senza risultare "arrogantelli" nelle competenze, non sovrastano ma indirizzare il cliente con garbo e sorriso, molto alla mano. Devo dire che il lato umano è importante e si sente qui. Quindi attenzione a leggere tutto il menù: non solo secondi di ciccia, ma tanta scelta e fantasia in questa cucina. Tanti piatti da provare e tutto proprio appetitoso. Tornerò sicuramente, sia in compagnia (magari tavolata di compleanno) sia in coppia: l'ambiente si presta benissimo per entrambe le occasioni, sia intime sia tra amici. Bravi! A presto
