07/12/2025: Amazing food. Totally mind blowing experience on what was for me, a very special occasion. Each dish was easily some of the best food I have ever eaten. The textures, flavors, and presentation were all quite immaculate, served by prompt, polite, but not pushy waiters. This was something that I initially felt a little nervous about because I very rarely eat at fine dining establishments. I was a little worried we would not be welcome or that I would feel out of place, but the waiters helped us understand exactly what we were eating, how to eat it, and generally made the experience amazing. The ambiance was also quite perfect. Very dimly lit but with lights shining directly into the table to highlight the food we were eating and create a little bubble around the moment. It all felt quite like a dream. I only have two complaints. First, and this is quite minor, is that with the caviar dish the two of us were served an odd number of pieces of bread, which made it somewhat awkward as one of us would have to eat one more/less. Not a huge deal but something I think could be noted by a restaurant of this caliber. Similarly, and more importantly was the glass cheesecake dish. I dined here in December and while the dish was excellently crafted, I wondered why we were seeing berries (now more than two months out of season) on the dessert. I can’t blame the restaurant for the berries being fairly wilted and flavorless, but I can certainly wonder why we were not seeing more seasonal flavors incorporated into our dish. We are in the heart of citrus season in a citrus region, after all! This was actually very surprising to me and definitely lowered my respect just a little bit for the establishment. However, the dish was still obviously very skillfully made and yummy nonetheless. I can’t give the experience anything other than five stars. Bravo.

18/11/2025: The sea scallops are the best in this area, even in Milan. The service is good, the place is a bit pricey but I will come again, it is a better place than the Michelin stars.

08/12/2025: The place is good, lots of variety of pizzas and they are good. The desserts are a bit weak. The service was excellent!

20/10/2025: My wife and I just completed our fifth stay at buca di bacco hotel and each trip keeps getting better.From the remodeled rooms to the new breakfast set up it keeps getting better. My advice is stay at least a week so you can try every pastry at breakfast

04/12/2025: Nice hotel — but a baffling and frustrating experience at the front desk. At check-in, we were greeted not with a welcome, but with a banner about a “gratitude payment” — essentially a voluntary tip scheme. Since we were only staying one night and had no meaningful interaction with staff, I called to opt out. I was told they would “check my bill” to make sure it was removed. Next morning? Still there. I was already on a business call while my family tried to check out, and instead of handling it smoothly, the staff insisted payment had to be made with a physical card. Out of patience, I tapped my phone — and it worked instantly. No apology, no acknowledgment, nothing. For a hotel claiming five stars, this felt more like amateur hour. Good service isn’t about surprise “gratitude fees” — it’s about communication, competence, and knowing when to get out of the way so guests can enjoy their stay — and actually get on with their planned journey without unnecessary friction. Edit: funny answer - did they even READ my post? I did call them the day before and it was still on the invoice.

01/12/2025: Beautifully decorated and clean hotel. Great breakfast and location. Unfortunately, the management falls short on customer service. We were “upgraded” to this hotel immediately after booking the neighbouring hotel, which we selected specifically for its spa. Nowhere was it communicated that the spa was unavailable at either hotels - from the time of booking right up until check in. At check in, the staff did not offer any compensatory or complimentary services to make up for this lack of critical communication.

02/12/2025: On the left side of the cafe, they sell a variety of handmade products. The linen aprons are especially perfect. The iced coffee and desserts were also delicious. I think it's a must-visit if you go to Positano.

25/11/2025: Tired of pasta and pizza while traveling in Italy? Don't want to eat Italian food anymore? This is a brunch spot that attracts hipsters from cosmopolitan cities like New York, London, and Seoul. If you love avocado, salmon, and quinoa, this is the place to go. While Positano's high prices mean it's not cheap, the atmosphere is stylish and makes for a delightful meal.

29/11/2025: Very refined, well-kept, and charming location. Kind, welcoming, and efficient staff. Excellent food. I celebrated a friend's wedding anniversary there. Gorgeous terrace!

03/11/2025: One glass of wine, barely 100 cl, for 16 euros. That's overpriced! The menu for the anniversary was good, but the portions were too small, like something out of 1980 when haute cuisine was just emerging—those days are gone. The service was quite unprofessional and impersonal, almost rude. A shame.

16/12/2025: Everything was great! The owner, besides being super nice, was also super kind to us. The meat was top-quality. We really had a great time!

13/12/2025: An authentic corner of Ireland in Caserta! "Finally, a real Irish pub in the area! The atmosphere is exactly what you'd expect: warm, welcoming, and lively. The dark wood furnishings, soft lighting, and themed music create the perfect atmosphere for an evening with friends. The beer selection is exceptional, with excellent pints of expertly poured Guinness and plenty of other options. The food is plentiful and tasty. The staff is super friendly and helpful. If you're looking for a place to unwind and feel a little like you're in Dublin, this is the place. Highly recommended!"

06/10/2025: We chose this restaurant to celebrate our wedding in Venice, and it was simply magical! The view, the atmosphere... everything came together to make this moment unforgettable. The team was lovely and very attentive, the meal excellent, and the wedding cake was beautiful and delicious. 20/09/2025: Dining on Grand Canal, across from Basilica Santa Maria was quite an experience. Delicious, high quality food and immaculate service. If you expect massive dishes, like most average American tourists in the reviews, there are other restaurants available. This is for beauty and quality. Hemingway risotto was 10/10.

22/12/2025: Tried it several times during lunch break. The food was very good and varied, with various daily specials. The pizza was also good.

11/12/2025: We discovered this place for dinner with friends and were pleasantly surprised. The atmosphere is very refined and exudes a sense of tranquility. The cuisine is excellent, with quality dishes that satisfied everyone. The staff and owner were very kind and professional. A place we'll definitely return to.

09/11/2025: I had the pleasure of dining here with my family, and it was a truly wonderful experience. The dishes were excellent, truly delicious; they follow tradition, but with a touch of originality. The house wine was truly excellent. The staff who accompanied us during dinner were kind, helpful, and engaging. My partner is vegan, and having mentioned this when booking over the phone, they offered him some truly valid alternatives, which almost never happens. A truly excellent experience. We all left enthusiastic. I'm very picky about pesto, being used to my grandmother's, but their pesto is truly tasty, light, and not too salty—just right, I'd say. Thank you!

16/11/2025: At the chalet, you can't go wrong... A welcoming atmosphere, friendly and attentive staff, but never intrusive. A family lunch where everyone chose different dishes to try everything, and everything was excellent. The dishes are obligatory, so you can mop up the sauce with your mop of bread. The grouper rectangles and red shrimp with zucchini cream are particularly recommended, delicious. The culutgiones with lamb ragù and the fregula allo scoglio are also excellent. Absolutely excellent value for money.

An extraordinary hotel that enchants you every time and leaves you feeling homesick: We've incorporated many fantastic dishes and details into our own menu; but we still can't quite match their skill in cooking and serving with such warmth...

03/11/2025: A wonderful hotel for relaxation! The hotel is very tastefully furnished, and the rooms are spacious and inviting. Besides the remarkable friendliness of the staff, the excellent food is a particular highlight. There's even a menu available at breakfast. The evening menu is exceptionally good, and the portions are generous. We felt very comfortable for four days. Even though the location is somewhat off the beaten track in South Tyrol, the journey there is definitely worthwhile!
