24/09/2025: Buca Lapi was the food highlight of our visit to Florence. Every element of the experience was excellent. First, the service was stellar from the moment we arrived. Our server, Franca, was extremely knowledgable, friendly, and professional. She helped us choose a wonderful bottle of wine (picture included) and explained the menu in great detail. Next, the food was amazing -- we loved the pasta (tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms), chicken cacciatore, and Florentine steak.. Make sure you visit this restaurant when you stay in Florence -- you won't regret it (especially if Franca is your server).

25/08/2025: Friendly and attentive service. The place is clean and tidy, with a lovely outdoor area and a singer. The food presentation was excellent. We had pizzoccheri served on a very distinctive plate, and Haidi's grandfather's tagliolini, which were delicious, made with pancetta and parmesan shavings, tomatoes, and radicchio. The fruit salad with ice cream was truly rich in fruit. Prices were average.

23/08/2025: We visited this restaurant this evening, my first time there, and it was a pleasant surprise, not only for the quality of the ingredients and the attention to detail, but also for the delightful welcome "tagliatelle" (a small piece of tagliatelle)—a truly classy touch. The skewer was truly spectacular, perfectly cooked, and accompanied by a lemon and bay leaf "salina" that gave the game just the right acidity, giving it that extra something. I would have loved to try all the desserts, but I was intrigued by the Braulio sorbet, which was truly remarkable. Well, I'd say we have all the ingredients, at least for us, to give it a full 5 stars, with further compliments to Chef Luca and the entire staff. I can't wait to return!

10/10/2025: One of the most beautiful and well-maintained restaurants immersed in nature in all of Rome! Both the restaurant and the pizzeria are delicious. Excellent service. If you park further away, a golf cart will wait for you and take you inside the restaurant! Sublime food! Congratulations

20/09/2025: A must-visit if you're spending time in Pompeii. Just a short walk from the archaeological site, this is an absolute gem. We ordered à la carte: uovo morbido and palamita for antipasti; risotto caprese and linguine alla colatura for primi; nasello alla brace, agnello laticauda, and coniglio for secondi; tarte tatin, meringa e limone, and nocciola, pere e caramello for dolci. Everything was exquisite, and the meal was punctuated by additional little dishes, compliments of the chef. The chef here really knows what s/he is doing, the wait staff is super professional, and the atmosphere is pleasant and sophisticated. Highly recommend and will visit again.

21/09/2025: A positive experience (lunch on a Saturday in September), with a good tasting menu and a reasonable price. Recommended.

20/09/2025: Walked in, alone, just after opening. Despite arriving without a reservation, was greeted warmly and was sat with a fantastic view of Lake bracciano. The staff were superbly accomodating of my very poor italian, and allowed me to ask them multiple questions between options on their menu. They recommended the linguine with the fish of the day, and provided a wine recommendation that worked wonderfully together. For dessert, I was recommended their fruit tart with white chocalate ganache. By far one of the best desserts I've had during my time in italy. As mentioned above, their service was superb. Behind me was seated a group of somewhat loud individuals, and while I didn't mind them at all, the way they were treating the staff seemed extremely rude. Despite this, the staff never showed any signs of being unsettled or annoyed. I rarely say this for any restaurant outside of my town of residence, but I would easily take a trip to the town of Anguillara for the sole purpose of dining at Chalet Del Lago again.

07/09/2025: A great insider tip! Great Italian restaurant! You wouldn't even notice it if you drove past. We went there twice during our vacation. The atmosphere is fantastic! It's very cozy and decorated with attention to detail. The food is very high quality and very reasonably priced. There's a very large wine selection. The service is very friendly, which was resolved with Google Translate despite some language difficulties. If we're ever in the area again, we'd love to come back. Thank you for a wonderful evening. 07/09/2025: "A very basic place in Sestola. I honestly don't understand all the rave reviews. The wait was interminable: over an hour just to serve three starters. The service was slow and inattentive, and the prices were high for the quality. The food was bland, and nothing to justify the price. Disappointing experience: I wouldn't recommend it.

24/09/2025: I've been going to this place for years, more often lately because I work nearby. Alas, I won't be going there again. Lately, I've been treated badly, with the owner making us feel uncomfortable by taking away our unfinished dishes, rushing us to order. Yesterday, I found a hair in my food, and the waiter mocked me. Naturally, I paid the bill without even an apology from the owner. Furthermore, they now cook with margarine (a fact confirmed by the owner), and as you can imagine, the taste of the dishes I've always enjoyed is unpleasant. I'm sorry, but you've lost a longtime customer.

22/10/2025: Michelin star restaurant so has a high bar and it did not disappoint. Extensive wine list, impeccable service, and steller dishes. Amuse bouche to start, great bread basket, appetizers were on point and main dishes were very flavorful and surprisingly not overly petite. Small dessert tray and lemoncello shots to end the night. They have several different dining options and we were recommended the patio which is BEAUTIFUL. However, we were seated at the end of the patio and did not know it is also a public walkway. We had people walking past us looking at us and our food throughout the night which was a little awkward and tiring. If you sit outside, make sure to not get seated on the end by the corner.

I felt like a child again; sitting in my grandfather’s kitchen; surrounded by love, comfort, and the scent of something wonderful being made just for me. Each plate was a masterpiece; crafted with passion, precision, and soul. Every flavor told a story, every bite carried warmth. The waiter’s kindness completed the experience; it felt like family, gathered around the table after years apart. Il Buco isn’t just a restaurant; it’s home, heart, and passion served on a plate, a place where food becomes art, and emotion becomes flavor.

01/10/2025: A friend of mine introduced me to it, and I've been back three different times...what can I say...amazing craft beers, delicious sandwiches and burgers, prepared with care! But the real added value is the guy who runs it! 5 well-deserved stars!

27/08/2025: Today we visited Caffe Caboto restaurant in Savona and were very, very satisfied. I highly recommend visiting this restaurant, where they will do their utmost to accommodate you. We needed a special meal for our son with food allergies, and the staff helped us choose a suitable dish. They had perfect knowledge and an overview of the composition of the food and allergens. The food itself was very tasty, and the service was very friendly and pleasant. The staff communicated very well in English. I am surprised that this restaurant doesn't have a Michelin star, as it certainly deserves one. I will definitely visit this restaurant again on my next visit to Savona.
