The rooms are spacious enough, all with bathrooms. Excellent views of the valley. Sleeping in a historic building like this is definitely an experience worth trying.

A real castle hotel. This is no palace so don’t expect silk and tapestry everywhere. It’s rough around the edges. The rooms are very comfortable but without WiFi, TVs, or phones. The breakfast choices are numerous and the pastries are delicious. The staff is enthusiastic and always available The restaurant is intimate and offers a chef’s menu with limited choices. We visited during spargal season and had a delicious soup. We tried the tasting menu where we chose 4 dishes from the menu and enjoyed them a great deal. If anything the staff is overly attentive.
