Fabulous tasting menu. Excellent service!

We've been wanting to try this place for a long time, and finally this evening we did! It was a revelation: an intimate, quiet interior with soft lighting, a knowledgeable staff always present but never intrusive, attention to detail, and the dishes presented with great elegance, care, and originality. The food was excellent and unique. A true treat. We'll be back often, and maybe next time we'll try the winter garden. An oasis among plants and the scent of lemons in the heart of the city. I was also intrigued by the magnificent private room...

Refined cuisine, excellent service, although the last time we dined there, service was particularly slow even though the place wasn't very crowded.

This restaurant is a sure thing! They've never missed a beat despite the passing years and the chef remaining the same. The location is unexpected, the service is top-notch, and the dishes are always delicious. Special mention goes to the always top-notch amuse-bouche and the homemade breadsticks, which are addictive. The €430 for five of us is well worth it! See you next time!

When you open the door, you find yourself in a corner of paradise‼️a meticulously maintained garden… then a few steps away, corners with tables for diners surrounded by greenery, and on the right, a glimpse of the kitchen, and opposite, the entrance to the main rooms of the restaurant… what more can I say except that it's a fascinating environment rich in art and history! The wait staff is exquisite and the food is a delight for the palate: each dish is a work of art in how it's presented, a riot of flavors, aromas, and colors, and the egg dessert is indescribable… pure spectacle and sublime flavors!!! It's clearly a restaurant renowned throughout Turin. A refined and very elegant location. Impeccable service, and the open kitchen is a real plus—a true spectacle. Dishes made with refined, never banal ingredients, whose flavors are poetic. An impressive wine list. Highly recommended.

There were 4 of us last night, we had a very good dinner, beyond the goodness of the food and the service, I would sum up this sentence: it is the place where you can find new flavours that the mastery of Cesare the chef creates with simple and natural ingredients, good wine cellar with particular attention to France, we will return. The restaurant is charming and meticulously maintained, set in an internal courtyard in a quiet, slightly outlying area of ​​Turin. The two waitresses who attended to our table and recommended wine were excellent. We may have made the mistake of not ordering the tasting menu, but the appetizer (cuttlefish) had an almost rubbery consistency, and the accompanying sauce had a strong aftertaste of burnt plastic. The agnolotti with creamed cod was excessively salty. For the type of dish, one would expect a more savory flavor, but frankly, it tasted like we'd eaten a handful of salt. When we politely pointed this out to the third waitress, asking about the preparation of the dish and assuming it might be a peculiarity of the recipe, she returned with a perplexing answer, telling us that in the kitchen, one agnolotti is tasted per dish, and attempting to explain the entire process of the dish to justify herself. She was certainly right, but at this point, I question the idea of ​​taste that those who work in the kitchen have. No flavor except salt (obviously they had oversalted it, it was easy to admit, it happens). The catch of the day was good. Good ingredients, but less than excellent preparation. The venison, tender and flavorful, was the best dish I had that evening. Reassured by the main courses, I rushed to order dessert (eggs). Here I was, simply astonished by a dish without rhyme or reason, a myriad of ingredients added one at a time by the waitress (one accidentally threw one at me, okay, it can happen, but you can excuse that), while she joked, with very little success, about how the dish would have been much less salty. The result is a dessert to be avoided, with no connection between the ingredients and frankly, it should be removed from the menu. Given the high cost of the dinner: an appetizer shared between two, a first course shared between two, a second course each, a good wine, and a dessert shared between two: €210, I feel confident in stating that this is a pretentious establishment that knows how to market itself very well. It's well-maintained, with good service (two out of three waitresses), and a very scenic setting. The food is beautifully presented and uses top-quality ingredients; perhaps it would be enough to improve the chef's skills. I think that when you go to a restaurant of this caliber, the excellent quality of the dishes is almost taken for granted, with the added value of research, service, and location. At La Limonaia, you'll get all the trimmings, with a tremendous disappointment in the substance.
