19/10/2024: Hidden gem in the medieval town of Tocco da Casauria. After a couple of magical steps you get in a place that looks like a good old gnarly leprechaun aged very well. Have a seat and just relax drinking chilled beers, spirits and eating delicious oversized burgers and out of the world chips... The pistachio ones are worth the travel.

21/10/2024: Abbiamo avuto come regalo un fine settimana con partecipazione alla Cooking Class con preparazione di prodotti tipici, fialdoni abbruzzesi, maccaroni alla chitarea, ciambelline al vino...tutto poi mangiato a cena con aggiunta un gradevole tagliere...accoglienza voto 10/10, cooking bellissimo, rilassante, condito con la simpatia e la preparazione dei proprietari. In piena campagna, con vista su Manoppello, camera ottima, pulizia, simpatia, gentilezza. Da riprogrammare.

10/10/2024: Our stay at Casale Centurion was nothing short of amazing! Giulia and her family (and pets) were so kind, welcoming and friendly! We are traveling throughout Italy for our honeymoon and booked last minute with the amazing help of Giulia! Our beds were so comfy, rooms so peaceful and breakfast was divine! We highly recommend Casale Centurion to anyone visiting Abruzzo! Giulia helped plan an entire day during our visit with the best advice and recommended spots to visit and dine! We are so grateful to Giulia and her family and hope to be back! Xx Devin

17/01/2025: Had dinner with the family, the restaurant is located in a convenient location on via Vestina with parking right in front. We ate the kebabs and some appetizers. All very good and not heavy. Friendliness and quick service are a plus. We had a great time and will return exactly as we have in the past!

02/02/2025: Locale grande e accogliente, abbiamo festeggiato il compleanno di mio suocero che era già venuto a pranzo con la sua associazione sportiva. La proprietaria è dolcissima cosi come il cameriere, sempre attento e premuroso. Cibo abbondante e di qualità. Location con ampio giardino, ideale per i bambini e in estate c è anche la piscina. 13/11/2024: Immerso nella campagna abruzzese a poca distanza da Pescara, questo agriturismo offre cibo genuino, davvero a km 0 e cordialità. L'ho scoperto grazie a una persona a me cara che lo frequenta abitualmente. Ci sono stato a pranzo e devo dire di aver mangiato benissimo, a partire dai numerosi antipasti tipici, continuando con due assaggi di primi piuttosto abbondanti ( ottimi i ravioli, strepitosi gli spaghetti alla chitarra) e per finire con un gustoso arrosto misto e contorni vari. L'unica nota " stonata" , se così vogliamo chiamarla, è stata la cheesecake, piuttosto deludente. Onestamente non ne aveva proprio il sapore. Ma è un dettaglio. Il servizio è stato adeguato nei tempi ed estremamente amichevole. Rapporto qualità prezzo strepitoso.

24/02/2025: I wasn't impressed at all with the taste of the food. The presentation was good, but the substance not so good. The sweet was totally disappointing and felt as if had been made days before, stale is the word that described it best. The venue is beautiful and welcoming. Pity that the rest didn't match. It was quite expensive too.

13/01/2025: experience not the best.. before ordering I asked what was present in the house starter and I was told hot and cold and I ask for certainty what is meant by hot cheese and sheep's egg alla callara and ascertained that it was what I wanted to taste I booked 2 homemade appetizers and for the children 1 bruschetta with ham and an extra portion of fried cheese, 1 simple red gnocco and 1 portion of truffle gnocchi asking if 1 portion and 1 portion was a problem and remaining that we would then have ordered the meat (perhaps for fear that we would not have ordered it if the starter was too abundant) they only brought us the cold dish with simple bread with fried egg and 1 fried cheese in the 2 home-made appetizers and callara sheep and cheese and eggs pallotte (requested in the order) nothing the first courses arrive and I ask the waitress sorry but the rest of the hot appetizers answer the callara sheep it's over and I'm ok... and the cheese and egg pale too!! and I ask again so we end up with half a starter (when I ordered you 1 you didn't know, 2 why not let me know since you know I ordered for the hot people present but I decided to overlook it) we order 1 mixed roast and 2 coffees but while we're having dinner I I notice that at the next table and who booked after us there were these appetizers but I decide to overlook them... when it's time for the bill €75 2 house appetizers 1 cheese fried 1 bruschetta 1 red and 1 white gnocco 1 mixed roast 2 covered coffees no one apologizes for what happened but I remember that we ate half the starter and they reply as if I should take it for granted I'll bring the Callara sheep if there is one I have and yes but not even the cheese and egg balls and the lady but no I brought them to you why not!?!? and I look, ask the girl with whom I ordered and who served me who told me that everything was finished and then the unlikely girl arrives and says no no I brought everything and I look at her but like when you put the gnocchi I gave you pointed out that you hadn't brought either one or the other and you replied that it was all over... I repeat, no one apologizes, in fact they had to and she still honestly doesn't remember and I check and she cleared the table..... lady all annoyed it seems strange to me but I will refund you 5 euros, the point wasn't the 5 euros but the treatment. We left from Montesilvano because we were recommended by some of their customers to find better, more home-made food and excellent treatment which didn't happen, in fact we had to apologize for going and having them. annoyed

14/11/2024: Il ristorante San Bartolomeo lo conosco e frequento da moltissimo tempo. Le sue proposte gastronomiche sono pressoché invariate nel corso degli anni, ma la vera forza del locale è che la qualità ed il gusto, eccellenti, non sono mai venuti meno. Per alcune specialità tipiche, non presenti nel menù, bisogna telefonare in anticipo, ma in ogni caso la proposta a la carte è in grado di soddisfare pienamente chiunque.

14/02/2025: Until twenty years ago it was my family's factory. At the time the structure was much more artisanal than it is today. Over the years it has undergone notable innovations, thanks to the foresight of the owner, Mr. Giancarlo, who increased (perhaps too much) the infrastructure and created a good restaurant, open all year round, so much so that today I prefer the Zattera restaurant to the seaside one which, nevertheless, offers a good service to customers. I cannot be more detailed in the description of this activity because for twenty years my sea has no longer been that of Pescara but of another country. Good luck to all the visitors of Lido La Zattera and remember that, if something doesn't add up, you can confidently turn to the owner, Mr. Giancarlo.

30/12/2024: Questo ristorante è sublime ! Il cibo è ottimo , direi quasi un’ esperienza per il palato che difficilmente si trova in giro . Abbiamo preso la selezione di antipasti freddi e caldo ed era uno più buono dell’ altro . Il risotto al basilico qualcosa di eccezionale ed anche i dolci fantastici . Il personale gentile ed accogliente e danno informazioni su ogni piatto . La vista un incanto ed il prezzo non è stato assolutamente esagerato quindi per noi il massimo dei voti !!!

17/09/2024: We smelled the pizza from the car as we passed it! We only tasted the margherita and the flavor surpassed - unimaginably - the aroma. Soft dough, perfect leavening and very crunchy on the edges. Highest quality tomato and mozzarella. Very kind owner and incredible prices! We have already spotted some shower heads to take on our return to the trust, beautiful to look at, I'm sure the flavor won't disappoint either.
