The owner then entered the scene, elevating the moment into full tragic opera. No curiosity, no conversation, just a confident display of that rare Italian art form: l’arroganza senza motivo. Here is the fascinating part. Several people around clearly recognized me… a few smiled, a few looked confused, almost as if they were watching a surreal sketch unfold in real time. Last year, same place, same dog… zero issues. This year? Apparently the policy evolved… or perhaps just the mood. My Pomeranian remained calm, composed, dignified. In contrast, the staff demonstrated a level of social agility usually seen in medieval gatekeepers guarding a castle from invisible dragons. At that point, I did what any rational adult would do. I smiled, turned around, and walked away. Now, with half a million people following my work, I do feel a certain civic duty to share exceptional experiences… and this one qualifies beautifully. If you enjoy: unpredictable rules theatrical hostility staff that treat clients like intruders Then Terrazza Verde is your place. If, instead, you prefer basic courtesy, a touch of intelligence, and the radical idea that a well-behaved 3 kg dog might coexist with civilization… I would suggest continuing your walk. My dog certainly would.
