10/01/2026: tiny portions no more than 50 grams of pasta, if you go just for a first course they are quite annoyed, but it's all good, furniture and tables quite worn, quite cystic for a trattoria, for a first course you go from a minimum of 12 euros for a cacio pepe 😵‍💫

Authentic flavors, raw ingredients selected to create emotions and prepared by people in the kitchen who know exactly what they're doing. Unusual dishes that don't seek approval from trendy palates. 19/04/2026: We celebrated my husband's 60th birthday on January 1st. We had a wonderful time: the food was delicious and unique, the staff was kind and friendly. We enjoyed a delicious freshly made mille-feuille cake. My guests, I, and my husband were very satisfied, as it was a surprise party.

Never intrusive, always present, like an invisible director accompanying each course. And then comes the food. An elegant journey, without ever becoming pretentious. The appetizer is pure poetry: interspersed textures, an enveloping cream, the egg that melts like a curtain opening onto the flavors, every element is there for a specific reason, nothing is left to chance. A dish that speaks softly but leaves its mark. The first course? A warm and deep embrace. Perfect pasta, mushrooms the absolute protagonists, clear yet refined flavors. Here, the raw ingredients are respected and complemented, never covered up. It's comfort food dressed for the evening. And as the glass accompanies each bite, everything finds its balance: nothing shouts, everything sings. 07/04/2026: Great restaurant! Very traditional vibe, exactly what you come to Italy for. Food is very good and very cheap. Staff is friendly. We had lunch there and then also got takeaway pizzas for dinner - which were excellent.

11/05/2026: I discovered a true gem in the heart of Città Sant'Angelo: Hosteria Cavour. The location is simply marvelous: in the heart of the historic center, finely preserved, with splendid ancient vaults and sage-green walls that create an elegant, warm, and authentic atmosphere. A place that makes you fall in love as soon as you enter. Guglielmo's welcome is impeccable: courtesy, attention, and passion are evident in every detail. And then there's the extraordinary mastery of chef Stefania, capable of transforming every dish into an unforgettable experience. Everything is exceptional: the homemade walnut bread, the fragrant focaccia, the stewed onions, the stuffed mushrooms, the lamb livers, the chicory with pine nuts, the artisanal sausages, and the pecorino accompanied by homemade fig and chili jams... authentic yet sophisticated flavors. The homemade pistachio ravioli were spectacular, the steak cooked to perfection, the lamb was incredibly fresh, and the arrosticini were simply superb. The finale was worthy of applause: an exceptional cheesecake and a magnificent vin santo accompanied by homemade biscotti and tarallucci. All accompanied by an excellent wine that made the dinner perfect in every way. A place where you can feel the love for cuisine, tradition, and hospitality. An experience that will remain in your heart and that I recommend to anyone who wants to experience the best of authentic Abruzzo. We'll be back very soon.

10/05/2026: A very central venue, understated yet elegant. Attentive staff. Excellent grilled meats in every way. Reasonable prices, including the wines. As a half-recommendation, I'd say the menu could be a little more seasonal, but overall, the quality is more than good.

30/04/2026: My wife and I were guests at Osteria del Leone this evening. I was extremely pleased with the refined and tastefully decorated restaurant, the high-quality food, the exquisite presentation, and the very friendly and professional staff, who were particularly attentive to customer needs. This review is based on a comparison of restaurants I've frequented throughout Italy during my working career. I highly recommend it.

17/04/2026: Still one of the best pizzerias I've ever known.

12/04/2026: The experience wasn't entirely convincing. The menu is extensive, but upon closer inspection, the pizzas are actually very similar; for example, almost all are plain pizzas or have almost all the same ingredients. It was a bit unusual that the pizzas arrived just five minutes after ordering (it was a busy Saturday), and while the ingredients were undoubtedly good, the dough was rubbery and almost raw in the middle (the pizza itself wasn't even very hot). Furthermore, given that dinner lasts a maximum of an hour and a half, we felt quite pressured, considering the waiters' insistence on asking if we wanted anything else or remembering our table number as the fateful 9:30 pm approached.

07/05/2026: It's a shame it's on the seafront, but they let us eat in a small room. A tip: if you book, ask where they'll seat you. The bill was very high: 2 pizzas, 2 fries, 1/4 cup of wine (house wine), and 1 bottle of water, €55.

11/05/2026: I had lunch at Franco's and was very satisfied with the experience. The service was fast, friendly, and always attentive, creating a pleasant and relaxed atmosphere. The food was truly excellent, with well-prepared and flavorful dishes; I particularly enjoyed the risotto, which was truly excellent. A special mention also goes to the quality of the olive oil on the table, which I personally always consider an important and not-so-obvious detail. Some of the ingredients used to enhance the dishes were also very well chosen, such as the pistachios in a cold appetizer, which added a truly pleasant touch of flavor and originality. A place I would gladly return to, perhaps to try the seafood aperitif, offered in three different versions. My only complaint is that the outdoor tables are located within the marina complex and not on the seafront, with a beautiful, picturesque view of the docked boats.
