27/03/2026: Spurred on by the excellent reviews, we went here for a couples lunch.
The staff is friendly but not always responsive... Unfortunately, we didn't have a great experience... even though the sushi was good, ordering with a tablet that freezes every minute isn't pleasant, especially given the limited time to order.
Furthermore, you can only order a certain number of dishes at a time.
I don't think we'll be back.
18/03/2026: All-you-can-eat fare is well above average, with tasty, simple, and well-prepared sushi.
The rolls and sashimi are really good. The interior space may be a bit small, but otherwise, a very positive experience. We'll definitely be back.

16/03/2026: We had a very pleasant experience at Ristorante Shang Hai.
The restaurant has a lovely atmosphere with an authentic interior design that makes the place feel cozy and welcoming. The service was impressively fast, and the whole experience felt very well organized.
One thing we really liked was the menu system — it’s presented on tablets, which is both convenient and modern. It makes browsing the dishes and ordering very easy.
The owner is also very friendly and welcoming, which adds a nice personal touch to the visit.
As for the food, the sushi was fresh and very tasty, and the fish quality was excellent. The selection is also quite wide, so there’s plenty to choose from.
Overall, a great place to enjoy sushi. Definitely recommended! 🍣

13/04/2026: It's always very pleasant. Even the last time, with guests, we had a wonderful time. The staff was kind and attentive, the food was good, and there was a wide selection to suit every need. For me, it's a must-visit in Pescara.
12/04/2026: Nine of us ate and spent €450. The price was fair, the food excellent, and there was a huge variety to choose from: pasta, pizza, meat, fish, sushi... We finished with an excellent cold tiramisu.

29/05/2025: Very nice restaurant. Welcoming service. I tasted the 6 courses chosen by the chef. The first 3 very good (fish sashimi, mixed carpaccio and tartare) the other three quite disappointing (normal uramaki, gyoza and vegetable tempura). In my opinion the tastings should not fall into the obvious. All in all everything good, nice environment and precise service.
If they want to improve as a restaurant, definitely see the tastings
11/05/2025: Prepared and super friendly service, quality and refined raw materials... exceptional sashimi, even more fish ramen, even the gyoza were divine... prices above average, but then you pay for quality...
Only flaw? Coffee at €3 and cover charge at €4, definitely too high.

16/04/2026: Very good sushi, shame about the service. I called earlier to ask if I could bring my dog and was told only small dogs were allowed (I don't understand why they make this distinction). We placed one last order and then the owner came to tell us they couldn't bring us any more, claiming we were giving the dog food. The dog didn't bother anyone and was good all evening. We brought him his kibble in the special bowl, but he then fell asleep for the entire dinner. Furthermore, the owner never came to our table or even walked by, so I don't understand why she made up certain things. I'm sorry, but you shouldn't treat people like that, and above all, you can't make false claims without proof.
15/04/2026: Unfortunately, I don't have many photos of this sushi place; everything was delicious. Four stars because the rolls have a lot of rice, but hey... it's an all-you-can-eat place, so that's fair enough. The staff was friendly and attentive, and the service was quick. All our dishes arrived without any mistakes. The menu offers a wide selection.
The interior is very well-designed, and you can sit at either regular tables or sunken tables. We'll definitely be back; highly recommended.

It's also wonderful to discover the union of Japanese and Italian products, blending in an explosion of flavors and colors. It's a sensory experience I recommend to everyone. The courtesy of the staff and their kindness in providing explanations and even recommending wines is invaluable. The atmosphere is intimate and welcoming, and it's exactly what you expect when entering this culinary world, where nothing is left to chance, but everything is carefully considered and balanced, and everything is governed by the serenity of Japanese culture. I thank Hiroshima mon amour for taking me on this journey of flavors to a distant land.

08/10/2025: We went for lunch today, arriving around 12:30 as the first customers. A gentleman greeted us and handed us the paper menu we requested (even though they have a QR code). He took our order and served us right away with drinks. The food arrived shortly after. We ordered tofu with mushrooms and bamboo shoots and rice noodles with pork and vegetables, which were very good. My side order was bean sprouts with sautéed julienned carrots (they weren't on the menu, but I asked for a side and they accommodated me), followed by sweet and sour chicken, which was also excellent. The place and restrooms were clean, and the price was more than fair. Considering we were just passing through, it was a great experience; we'll keep it in mind for the future. 😊

20/07/2025: Siamo stati ieri sera per una cena in famiglia. Ambiente raffinato e camerieri super professionali. Ma la cucina è il TOP ! Con il coperto, pagato ad un prezzo sotto la media, ci hanno offerto :
- ampissima selezione di panificati vari, a lievitazione naturale, dai gusti unici e ricercati
- ben 4 entree gourmet molto particolari e buonissime
- coccole finali ovvero dolcetti vari ( ma davvero tanti ! ) ricercati e particolari
Noi abbiamo preso l’antipasto di crudo per due. Abbondante e di ottima qualità, includeva 2 scampi e 2 gamberi, ricciola, tonno, seppie e due ostriche a testa
A seguire spaghetti alla chitarra con caviale e tortelli con cacio e pepe e ricci di mare.
Infine una grigliata del giorno deliziosa.
Consigliamo questo posto sia per la cucina ma anche per il prezzo pagato. Considerato quanto mangiato, sia in termini di qualità (soprattutto) che quantità, il prezzo pagato è assolutamente adeguato se non addirittura sotto la media. Noi in locali simili nel Nord-est Italia, senza la presenza di chef rinomati, paghiamo di più ! .
