10/05/2026: A decidedly negative experience. We placed our order at 9:30 PM: a potato chip, a pizza, 25 arrosticini, a salad, and a white focaccia. After almost an hour, nothing had arrived. We asked a waitress for an explanation, but she never returned; another staff member simply told us there was a wait, without further information, and finally a third member of staff informed us that there had been problems in the kitchen, even though other tables were receiving their orders as expected. I find it unacceptable that a table remained for an hour without receiving a single dish and that no staff member cared in the slightest about the situation or volunteered to explain. Only after our complaints did the pizza, potato chip, and white focaccia (partially charred and completely devoid of salt) arrive. At that point, around 10:15 PM, the waiter assured us that the arrosticini and salad would arrive within twenty minutes. An hour later, however, nothing had arrived. Kebabs ordered almost two hours earlier and never eaten. Another negative note was that when we received the bill, we weren't even given a minimal discount or apology for the poor service. I urge management to pay more attention to service organization and, above all, to respecting customers, because situations like this shouldn't happen.

29/05/2025: Very nice restaurant. Welcoming service. I tasted the 6 courses chosen by the chef. The first 3 very good (fish sashimi, mixed carpaccio and tartare) the other three quite disappointing (normal uramaki, gyoza and vegetable tempura). In my opinion the tastings should not fall into the obvious. All in all everything good, nice environment and precise service. If they want to improve as a restaurant, definitely see the tastings

11/05/2025: Prepared and super friendly service, quality and refined raw materials... exceptional sashimi, even more fish ramen, even the gyoza were divine... prices above average, but then you pay for quality... Only flaw? Coffee at €3 and cover charge at €4, definitely too high.

13/05/2026: Family lunch. Unfortunately, the selection was very limited, and the dishes arrived very slowly. Friendly and courteous service. Right price.

17/05/2026: If you're a raw fish lover, this is a must-try! Not to mention the various rolls and entrees. Very good. If you're just a few people, you'll be served by a small automated waiter (if I understand correctly). Definitely worth a try!

21/09/2025: Worst sushi I've ever eaten! Fish with questionable flavor, stringy rice, and cold fried food! And in our opinion, recycled! We complained, saying what we were eating wasn't fresh enough! Never again.

21/12/2025: Hiroshima mon amour, with its dishes, introduces you to Japanese culture through new flavors and carefully selected ingredients. It's also wonderful to discover the union of Japanese and Italian products, blending in an explosion of flavors and colors. It's a sensory experience I recommend to everyone. The courtesy of the staff and their kindness in providing explanations and even recommending wines is invaluable. The atmosphere is intimate and welcoming, and it's exactly what you expect when entering this culinary world, where nothing is left to chance, but everything is carefully considered and balanced, and everything is governed by the serenity of Japanese culture. I thank Hiroshima mon amour for taking me on this journey of flavors to a distant land.

08/10/2025: We went for lunch today, arriving around 12:30 as the first customers. A gentleman greeted us and handed us the paper menu we requested (even though they have a QR code). He took our order and served us right away with drinks. The food arrived shortly after. We ordered tofu with mushrooms and bamboo shoots and rice noodles with pork and vegetables, which were very good. My side order was bean sprouts with sautéed julienned carrots (they weren't on the menu, but I asked for a side and they accommodated me), followed by sweet and sour chicken, which was also excellent. The place and restrooms were clean, and the price was more than fair. Considering we were just passing through, it was a great experience; we'll keep it in mind for the future. 😊
