14/02/2026: We visited this pizzeria this evening with two families, a total of eight people. The service was excellent and the atmosphere very welcoming, thanks also to the owners, who were very kind and friendly. The prices are fair and the pizza is truly delicious.

The warm welcome from owner Salvatore and his wife makes all the difference: always smiling and attentive to every customer, they create a family atmosphere that makes you want to return. But it's not just a matter of friendliness: the food is also top-notch. It couldn't be otherwise with the world-renowned fried pizza award winner. You can taste the quality of the ingredients, from the fresh ingredients on the pizza to the carefully crafted dough made with various types of flour. The pizza is tasty, fragrant, and balanced. In short, the perfect place for those looking for good, authentic pizza, served with the smile and warmth that only a true family-run restaurant can provide. Highly recommended!

We had a delicious bruschetta with truffle, 50-gram arrosticini, chicory and eggs cooked in a pot with truffle, and a chocolate dessert with a warm heart. Everything was delicious, with generous portions. Friendly staff and reasonable prices. Free parking nearby. Reservations recommended. Recommended

21/12/2025: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ ANTICA RICETTA – Roccaraso I've been to Antica Ricetta, and I still think about the arrosticini: simply the best I've ever had. Tender, juicy, perfectly cooked, and with that authentic Abruzzo flavor you'll rarely find elsewhere. The restaurant is welcoming, simple yet elegant, and the staff is friendly and helpful. Service is quick despite the full dining room, a sign that they know how to manage customers well, even during busy periods. I also really appreciated the atmosphere: warm, family-friendly, ideal for a traditional dinner after a day in the mountains. Fair prices and top-notch quality.

17/02/2026: First visit. Very charming and well-maintained place, from appetizers to dessert. Excellent traditional dishes and gourmet first courses. Friendly and polite staff... a feast for the palate. A hypothetical osteria hiding good food and high quality.

15/02/2026: Sunday lunch with friends. The starters were decent but poor. The lamb was reheated and dry, the arrosticini were boiled, and the baked potatoes were fried and cold. I don't recommend it.

25/01/2026: Every sane person's nightmare Children screaming and running around uncontrollably with incompetent parents, an hour and a half wait for a partially burned pizza, not even the decency to bring water upon arrival. A €50 bill for two people (one pizza, a couple of appetizers)

07/11/2025: A local favorite, open summer and winter, with a warm atmosphere and a wood-fired oven on display. The pizza is crispy and easy to digest. The place is casual, the prices are modest, and the ingredients are quality. I would recommend the "Cesaproba" pizza, named after the owner's hometown. It's a Margherita with fresh tomatoes, mozzarella, provola, and basil leaves. All the other pizzas are very good. Recommended.
