11/09/2025: Compared to last year, there's been a drastic drop in preparation and quality of the dishes offered. Fried calamari consists of only the tails and a few tentacles. The rest of the mantle is used to prepare skewers, which, quite paltry, were priced at €2.50 each. The flavors also leave much to be desired. We've been there several times last year and always had a great experience. Too bad...

15/10/2025: A set menu with an entrée, cold antipasto, warm antipasto, first course, second course, desserts, coffee, water, and wine pairing for €70. So, basically the complete package. Absolutely top-notch quality in terms of freshness and presentation. We were completely full and enjoyed the ambiance and very friendly service.

10/11/2025: I visited this pizzeria a few weeks ago, and what left me most disconcerted was the response to my request for a Margherita, which the restaurant adds oregano to. "We make it like this," I find, is completely out of step with the typical attitude of a restaurant owner, who is expected to meet customer needs, especially in the food sector. The Margherita, by the way, is made without oregano.

03/11/2025: Fantastic welcome from Nino, he made us feel at home immediately and recommended new, very original dishes. We also ate both appetizers and pizza and meat, everything was really good. We spent a lovely evening on October 29th in this fantastic location facing the sea. Compliments to all the staff, very kind and professional, and this certainly speaks to years of experience. 04/10/2025: We travel frequently for business and/or pleasure. We rarely give a restaurant 5 stars because perfection is difficult to achieve. Taverna del Marinaio in Lanciano fully deserves 5 stars! Unsurpassed value for money. Excellently prepared food, everything is refined and fresh. The service, evening meal pairings, and wine selection are extraordinary. The location is breathtaking. This restaurant demonstrates the entire staff's passion for food and wine. The restaurant is spotless, as are the restrooms. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. The dining room staff is very knowledgeable about gastronomy and the entire world of wine. We will definitely be back!

21/10/2025: A wonderful experience, the staff were helpful and friendly, very attentive to everything going on. The food was excellent, and the dishes told the story of Abruzzo. Homemade cured meats, cacio e ov (cheese and egg) balls, stuffed peppers, and legume soup—all of this served as appetizers, not to mention the sublime homemade egg pasta. The house wine didn't disappoint, enveloping and perfectly complementing the meal without being heavy. To finish on a high note, the various types of roast meat were delicious. Desserts, yes, are available, and they're all delicious. The only flaw was that we shared everything in the middle for four people, which was a bit too much, but we'll definitely be back.

15/10/2025: Our lunch at this restaurant was a gastronomic experience from start to finish that we will remember for years to come. Blanca and Vladimir made us feel like we were part of their family. They were incredibly attentive to our needs, explaining the menu with great care, including the preparation of each dish. The flavor of every dish was indescribably delicious, even though we only ordered pasta. The selection of red and white wines was exceptional, and the chocolate dessert and homemade apple gelato were exceptionally good. From the VIP service to the wine, pasta, dessert, coffee, the restaurant atmosphere, and the perfect location with panoramic views of the Adriatic, there is not a single detail worthy of note. The price is more than fair for everything you get. It deserves 5 stars in every category, and I wouldn't be surprised if they earn a Michelin star in the near future. Thanks again to Bianca and Vladimir for the excellent evening, and I hope to see them again when we return to Vasto.

The location is meticulously maintained, elegant but without too much formality (which we've sometimes found too much in other places!). The owner was fantastic; he looked after our bikes parked outside throughout lunch 💞). Highly recommended!

04/11/2025: I had a pizza; the dough and ingredients were good. The waitress was courteous and helpful. The bread, made with pizza dough, was also good. The dining room is large and has plenty of pub-style seating.

03/11/2025: We went for lunch during a soccer tournament my son was participating in. The staff were welcoming and friendly, and the atmosphere was also lovely. Service was quick and attentive to the guests' needs, and the food was delicious and plentiful. Everything you need to make you feel good. Coffee was complimentary!

02/11/2025: Lorenzo and his staff welcome you with the smile and friendliness typical of Abruzzo. From the moment you make your reservation over the phone, you feel like a welcome guest, an old friend. Then you arrive at the restaurant, sit down, and there, determined to taste the typical San Vitese dish, a mystical experience begins: the king of fish soup literally left us speechless. A bowl full of simple but perfect fish for this dish—cod, weever, red mullet, skate, mantis shrimp, cuttlefish—all immersed in a tomato sauce, flavored with a few pieces of bell pepper, into which you can dip the perfectly toasted bread. You can savor it all at your leisure; for half an hour, it's just you and the dish before you, a true culinary experience. The best part, however, comes as soon as you've finished enjoying the fish and bread, which you know how to manage wisely, mindful of what's next. The pasta of your choice is cooked in the remaining sauce...we opted for squares (like maltagliati) made with water and flour, which are special. For the more indulgent, Lorenzo brings his own chili pepper oil to the table, spicy and fragrant. A cold pecorino from the San Giacomo winery to accompany it all, and the magic is complete. The setting was scenic, with a beautiful view. The waiter, who I assume is also the competent owner, was very welcoming and warm. Thank you for making us spend a few happy hours.

Nicole and her father are incredibly kind, welcoming, and helpful, always ready to make you feel pampered from the first to the last minute. Their cuisine is traditional, authentic, and predominantly meat-based, with a truly extensive menu that is meticulously prepared. Among their signature dishes, which I find very special, is the first course: the mezze maniche fantasia—a dish of indescribable deliciousness, creamy, balanced, and rich in flavor, a true explosion of taste that captivates from the first bite 🤩 The last time I tried pizz e foje, a typical Abruzzo dish, I can say with absolute certainty that in 29 years of life I've never eaten anything so good! A place that always manages to surprise you, with authentic dishes and genuine people. Ribot is a guarantee of quality, tradition, and human warmth. Highly recommended for those who love to eat well and feel at home! ❤️🍷
