Perfetto nello spiegare qualsiasi piatto o bevanda sopratutto i vini e poi tanta simpatia e disponibilità per ogni nostra richiesta. C’è ne fossero di PAOLO THE KING in ogni ristorante! Complimenti ai proprietari per averlo ingaggiato..avete preso il MARADONA dei camerieri!!

26/07/2025: A family-run trattoria. No frills, but everything is focused on quality and abundance. We had an excellent pizza, served with great courtesy. Reservations are recommended.

19/08/2025: I came back here after a very long time, and the only thing we all liked was... the bread on top of the mussels... The portions were tiny, and the raw food was almost nonexistent. But I was told the fried food was good (I don't eat fried food).

18/08/2025: I've been going to Stefano's for at least 20 years and have always had a good experience. Good food and fresh ingredients are the order of the day. However, since he changed locations, he's been trying to transform many of his dishes into "nouvelle cuisine." I've honestly been disappointed, especially with the appetizers. You can't serve such small portions that you can't even taste what you're eating (not to mention the price). That's the only flaw, so if you want good fish-based first courses and second courses, the quality is still low. I strongly recommend not ordering appetizers; you'll be disappointed. Prices are medium to high.

02/08/2025: Lors de notre séjour à Ortona, nous avons eu le plaisir de dîner en famille au restaurant Il Gambero. Ce fut une expérience culinaire des plus agréables. Chaque plat, préparé avec savoir-faire, a su ravir nos papilles par ses saveurs raffinées. Les produits utilisés, d’une grande fraîcheur et issus du terroir local, témoignent d’une qualité irréprochable. Le service, quant à lui, est à la fois attentionné et professionnel. Une adresse que je recommande sans hésitation.

04/08/2025: Review of Osteria del Castello – Ortona The first time we went to Osteria del Castello was on the recommendation of some friends: as always, recommendations are always a bit risky... but we were pleasantly surprised! We were a group of friends and colleagues, and the experience was excellent in every way. The service was impeccable, with friendly and helpful staff. The food was excellent, with authentic flavors and careful attention to detail. We were also impressed by the location, especially the outdoor space, truly pleasant for an al fresco dinner. We had such a great time that we will definitely be back. Highly recommended!

24/08/2025: I arrived at this restaurant without a reservation. Everyone in the dining room did their best to find a table for three. After a few phone calls, they finally managed to get us a table. The restaurant was practically fully booked, so ALWAYS call ahead. We were seated, and I ordered a truly excellent tartare. I order it at every restaurant to see how they serve raw meat, and it was truly excellent! Followed by a truly delicious first course, simple yet impressive. I highly recommend the place, and I recommend petting the gorgeous kitten who sometimes wanders around the tables—a true masterpiece! I'll definitely be back!
