10/03/2026: Simply spectacular! Passing by with my dad, we stumbled upon it by pure chance, and we literally felt right at home. Lorenzo is a true leader of the dining room, he knows how to entertain with charm, he knows how to advise, and with his "I'll take care of it" attitude, he never fails! Extremely high-quality home-cooked food, with portions that will keep you hungry for two days. Kudos to Lorenzo's mother, who we learned is the kitchen's leader. Highly recommended!

11/09/2025: Compared to last year, there's been a drastic drop in preparation and quality of the dishes offered. Fried calamari consists of only the tails and a few tentacles. The rest of the mantle is used to prepare skewers, which, quite paltry, were priced at €2.50 each. The flavors also leave much to be desired. We've been there several times last year and always had a great experience. Too bad...

18/01/2026: Delicious pizza served at the table or for takeout. Full catering options with excellent, traditional meals. Large, welcoming, clean, and well-lit interiors. Outdoor space is especially enjoyable in the summer. There's a small TV screen for watching the latest sports. On weekends and sometimes during the week, customer traffic is high, so reservations are always recommended. The staff is friendly, polite, fast, precise, professional, helpful, and knowledgeable, offering excellent customer service. The spaces are well-heated or ventilated depending on the season. Adjacent parking can accommodate several vehicles, and if full, cars can park on the side of the road along the street. Access is available for people with reduced mobility.

02/01/2026: We had a group of 16 people order takeout for New Year's Eve dinner. Everything was perfect and delicious. The price was also excellent, and the staff were very friendly.

22/01/2026: I attended a wedding at the New Gilda restaurant and it was a truly enchanting experience. The location is breathtaking: elegant, refined, welcoming, perfect for such an important event as a wedding. Not to mention the food, it was truly sublime. Excellent dishes, both in quality and presentation, from start to finish... like the dessert buffet and the confetti buffet, everything was perfect and delicious. Special praise also goes to all the waiting staff: impeccable, elegant in their service, and always extremely polite and professional. A restaurant I absolutely recommend!

14/02/2026: We ate baked sea bream last night. They brought it half raw. It was brought back after the second cooking, but it still wasn't cooked through. Result: I was sick all night. And the next day I had to go to the bathroom. A bad experience. Never again.

13/02/2026: If I could add 10 stars, I would. Beautiful location, obsessive customer service from the staff, and especially the food. Excellent quality, the Vastese-style brodetto was excellent and very plentiful. Everything was great.

08/03/2026: I was looking for a relaxing place with a sea view, a welcoming atmosphere, and excellent, unique food. Every time I went, I found new and different dishes. The staff was friendly and very kind; it exceeded my expectations. I absolutely recommend it.

15/03/2026: Family lunch at this wonderful panoramic restaurant. Abundant cold and hot appetizers featuring typical local ingredients. Excellent first courses, such as walnut and truffle ravioli, homemade fettuccine with mushrooms and truffle, and chitarrina pasta with ragù. We were full, so we opted for a few second courses, but the mixed roast was excellent.

21/02/2026: I had the pleasure of dining at this restaurant: simple, authentic dishes, and therefore very tasty. Special attention is paid to the freshness of the ingredients and to food intolerances and allergies. The owner is a very friendly person who truly represents his restaurant. I will gladly return.

14/10/2025: Parco dei Mulini has been a trusted favorite for several years now. I've been here often, even on different occasions (in the summer, the kiosk is open, you can eat outside in the heavenly temperatures, and the live music evenings are fantastic!). In the winter, they host indoor evenings, and the menus change based on events (the pizzas, in particular, are updated frequently!). Top quality in everything, from beers to main courses, all the way to dessert (made by the fantastic staff), and the pizzas are unparalleled: the best pizzas in the Ortona area and the surrounding area, even though we're in Crecchio. Generous portions and affordable prices. The owner is super. The place is beautiful, surrounded by the greenery of a charming former mill, and it's not uncommon to spot a few animals!

24/09/2025: Always happy to book. Relaxing place, even if it's always busy. The food, both meat and pizza, is always excellent. The beers are also good, with a wide selection. Good value for money.

26/12/2025: This Christmas we enjoyed panettone with hazelnuts and caramel, and it was truly phenomenal! A well-leavened, soft, and well-hydrated dough, with an excellent caramel flavor. We're so pleased!

I often visit when I'm in the area and always find excellent dishes, including the rich and flavorful antipasto, first courses like chitarrina al ragù or sagne e fagioli, and classic meat-based main courses like steak or sausages. The flavorful hand-cut arrosticini are particularly popular. Prices are moderate. Recommended.
