03/02/2026: Luckily, there are still trattorias like this: informal, affordable, and serving quality meat and fish. Ideal for a business lunch, as I did, but also for a dinner with friends. The baked fish is excellent, and the service is quick, with very friendly and helpful staff. Definitely worth a try.

31/01/2026: The quality of the food is adequate, but the service in this case was poor. After ordering, the dishes didn't arrive, so we had to wait over an hour to eat.

The dishes are balanced, flavorful, and beautifully presented, with friendly and professional service that makes the experience even more enjoyable. The desserts deserve special mention: homemade, meticulously prepared, and amazing! A place I'd love to return to and one I recommend without hesitation.

10/01/2026: Il Gambero is an excellent restaurant in Ortona. We ate very well, with carefully prepared, high-quality dishes. The wide selection of local wines is also excellent, perfect to accompany the menu. Recommended for those looking for good food and a nice selection of local wines.

07/03/2026: Fishmonger's and restaurant. You'll be welcomed by the chef, who is also the owner. Excellent location halfway between the sea and the mountains. Excellent value. Recommended.

18/01/2026: Well-kept, clean, and spacious. The staff is friendly, professional, and very helpful. The food is truly delicious, starting with the starters, main courses, and the tiramisu is truly delicious! Prices are reasonable. If you're in the area, it's highly recommended.

02/02/2026: We stopped here during a visit to Lanciano. It's a truly lovely place with a view of the square and right under the Cathedral of the Madonna del Ponte! The girl who welcomed us was truly professional. We sat outside since it was a pleasantly warm day. The place looks great inside too! We had Black Velvet, arrosticini, baked potatoes, and a platter. Everything was delicious! We'll be back when we're in the area!!! Top Rating S&P A+

28/01/2026: Good evening, this evening I stopped by their place to enjoy an aperitif voucher they gave me. Unfortunately, due to my forgetfulness and other commitments, we showed up for an aperitif in January 2026. The voucher expired on December 31, 2025. The staff informed me that the owner had said it had expired... Excuse me, is it a medicine?....and yet you received money from the voucher, I don't think it's expired....I understand the expiration, but it's a matter of common sense, which is essential if you want to run a business....that's what makes the difference today....I certainly lost an aperitif, never mind, but it doesn't matter. I don't know what you gained in return, maybe a few free euros in exchange for no service provided... Or a nice advertisement 😀😀😀 As they say, "advertising is the soul of commerce." You guys can draw your conclusions... Congratulations....top 😀😀😀

06/01/2026: Visited Taverna Ducale on May 2, 2022. My son, granddaughter and I were greeted warmly and seated immediately. Our meal was beyond excellent. Each course was prepared and presented with great care. From the prosciutto and melon (we ordered it twice) and charcuterie, to the various main courses we had, were amazing. One of the most delightful and memorable meals I have ever had. Five stars... Can't wait to return.

26/11/2025: Alessia and Ferdinando are always very kind. They always know how to recommend the right product based on the customer's request. A cozy little place on Chieti Scalo with a wide selection of rums and wines... I recommend going to one of their evenings. The food is truly excellent, as well as a nice glass of wine.

04/03/2026: Terrible experience. From the appetizers to the arrosticini, the food was low-quality and, in my opinion, not fresh. Including the arrosticini, which were inedible; out of 20, I ate 4. It was an experience I wouldn't repeat. Unfortunately, I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. I came to this restaurant based on the positive reviews, but it was all very disappointing.

04/03/2026: Arrosticini from Metro, spices from Eurospin, and cheese and egg balls that aren't homemade but industrial. Mediocre value and far from the authenticity of Abruzzo cuisine.

10/02/2026: What an amazing find, One of the best experiences we had!!! If you are in the area, or even if you not, its worth driving an hour, in our case 44min from our house for this delicious food. We are coming back!!!

12/02/2026: I’m a traveller from Los Angeles, staying in Francavilla al Mare to visit the Eucharistic Miracle in Lanciano. I’ve been to Rome, Pisa, Florence and Amalfi, but this restaurant has the best pizza I’ve ever had in Italy!!! Their seafood pasta was also very delicious! To top it all off, they also had very kind and professional service. Very welcoming. I’ll definitely be back again one day. Highly Recommend!!

16/03/2026: We went to this restaurant based on word of mouth. It was supposed to be just a taste test, but it turned out to be an excellent lunch. The fish was fresh, tender, and top-notch. The super-fresh raw seafood, served without excessive seasoning, perfectly showcased the quality and freshness of the fish. The hot dishes were also delicious and original, with combinations we'd never tried before. The fusillone with saffron, shrimp, and Centerba was especially delicious, with an impeccable balance of flavors. The dessert menu also offers a wide selection: homemade tiramisu with ladyfingers and a delicious Colomba semifreddo. Highly recommended!
